Criminally underrated song and one that doesn't get enough attention from the reactor community that focuses on Black (unplugged), Porch (Pinkpop '92), and the videos for Jeremy, Alive, and Even Flow.
Its EV croon sound he makes which I just adore. How he effortlessly slides in to a vibrato is so nice too! Thanks for the reaction. This is the closest I could come to seeing\hearing this for the1'st time.
I am so happy you like it!!!! Porch- unplugged is my next suggestion. Expect the unexpected! ❤️ I am curious to see your facial expression after a few seconds...😁😁😁
This is one of the best live performances, ever. The whole Unplugged they did will always remain one of my favorite concerts I've watched. Wish I had been there! Haha!
I agree with the suggestion to next watch the MTV Unplugged version of Porch. So many people think Eddie somehow forces the “grunge” voice for effect. But, if you simply listen to his speaking voice, you realize he just has a beautiful, rich, deep voice. I could spend hours just listening to him read the phone book.
Sohum if you like pearljam you REALLY should react to JEREMY by them, before you listen to it you should know its based on a real boy who shot himself in front of his english class. Very sad song, but it brings bullying to the forefront so people will be more aware of how bad it is and what CAN happen as a result. Please react to it. Love your reactions by the way. Greeting from florida.
@@buddhamack1491 The show was edited for TV. You can listen to the whole show somewhere here on YT. The first thing he said was the comment about his surfboard. Then he sang the song and afterwards said something to the effect of it actually about a girl named Beth who he was going to see the next day. They also sang Keep on Rocking in the Free World as their last song. It didn’t sound so great. I think by that time Ed’s voice was completely shot because of his cold/flu or whatever respiratory thing he had that night.

One of my favourite PJ tracks... what an atmosphere..
I agree. This track always transports me to some ethereal place in my past (mid ninety's)

Thanks for the idea!
Jeff’s bass is so good on ten.
Eddie's tone will draw you in
If you feel like going back to the ‘90s… Villains by The Verve Pipe is a great one. Get ready for a guitar solo like no other if you do it!

Try PJ covering Love Reign O'er Me by the who at the vh1 Honors if you want to hear Ed blow your mind vocally
It’s tune a half step down and the high E to D. I think.
Listen to Garden
\- you are right about the guitars-- they are in an odd non standard tuning

Please, react to "Pearl Jam - Porch - Live At Pinkpop 92"....
He wrote this song about his girlfriend and dedicated it to her that night. They opened the Unplugged with this song.
Huh??? In the unplugged show, right after finishing this song he literally says "a little love song I wrote about my surfboard"
