The bit at 2:31 where these B-list celebrities are getting mobbed for autographs while Brad Pitt and George Clooney just stroll on by is always funny on a meta level.
Barry was smart, he may have forgotten the first lesson in poker but he remembered not to bet on the bluff which is what he was about to say before he folded and he was the only one that didn't take the bait
So ocean bet 500. The one guy folded, but then josh raised it to 1000. Molly called which means she also added 1000. Rusty called. then the two unnamed people called. Ocean then raised 2000 and everyone called which means its now 3000 per person. 15000 dollars total. plus whatever the first guy who folded would have added to the pot before folding. Call it maybe 15050.
Opening bet was 500. First guy folded. Second guy raised it from 500 to 1000 Including rusty, that's 5 bets on top of oceans so the pot is $5500. $500 of that is oceans. Ocean raised an additional $2000 Everyone called and stayed in Now pot is $17500 - $2500 of which is Oceans So off a $2500 bet he made $15,000 which included $2500 from Rusty. Assuming that since they both were in it together from the start they probably split it 50/50. Both guys get their original $2500 back and split the remaining $12,500 evenly. So that's $6,250 each. This was in 1999. Adjusted inflation to 2024, they both grossed about $11,500 each. Also going to assume that they're not paying taxes on this as well.
4:14 This was a running gag across all -four- three _Ocean's_ movies, but I always loved the code names this network of criminals had for the job descriptions.

Funny thing about this scene is that Rusty and Danny were actually working together to rip off the celebrities.
These 2 are like a more charming ben affleck matt damon duo.
More talented, more attractive, and more accomplished as well 😂😂
aww, leave matt out of it!
@@ebutzek1Hey matt is just as talented as them
