I’m so glad I found Teddy’s channel. He doesn’t realize it, but he’s one of the greatest trainers too. Cus D’amato was his mentor, but Teddy is still a thinking man, which means he has taken what he has learned and elevated it to the next level.
Love the Ali story. When I was a little boy and Leon Spinks beat Ali, I went to bed crying

I read Teddy Atlas autobiography many years ago and let me tell you I was not much of a reader back then but I read it Twice!!!! His life was fascinating to me the fact that he knew Cus and Tyson led me to want to find out who Teddy was.
I don’t think people realise how important and Valuable Teddy is to the Boxing World. #RESPECT

The guy Teddy was referring to at 2:50 was DICK Gregory the comedian and activist not Eddie Gregory. Teddy was still in fight mode as he was thinking about WBA lightheavyweight champion Eddie Gregory who later became Eddie Mustapha Muhammad and later on a top trainer.

I met Dick Gregory at Ali's funeral. He was the crazy character you think he is! I bluffed my way into the friends-and-family private party and as and Englishman in a lovely white shirt, I suppose everybody thought I was with somebody! An amazing day. Rest in peace to both men: two giants.

Legendary trainer cus d'amato I seen him on RUclips with Ali in the advertisement fly like a butterfly sting like a bee honey honey honey it was a classic and so was Ali and cus d'amato one of the greatest trainer and Ali greatest in history. Cus d'amado who train the youngest HW title Floyd Patterson and it was sad that he dies just 1 years before Tyson got the Heavyweight title at age 20 I think cus d'amato wanted to see that but I know his spirit was there that night for Tyson and you have to give Teddy atlas credit as well they both made Mike the animal of a fighter he is but as soon as the vultures money grabbers started to come in with Tyson it ruined his career but Ali was the greatest sport man out there

Ali's foot work was a thing of beauty..... Tyson firing Rooney his trainer and keeping Don King/ Robin Givens/ & the other leetches (the IRS & others) was his downfall. He was NO longer the same fighter. This is a athlete that should have gone undefeated. Cus created a wrecking ball that NO ONE could stop. Mike Tyson lacks the heart & character that TYSON FURY has---how ironic-- it's almost like a sign as to say this is where u went wrong mike.

Ali fought Norton 3 times, twice in 1972 and last time in 1976. He fought Fraser 1971, 1974 & 1975. He fought George Foreman in 1974. He should’ve fought Foreman again but to Ali credit Foreman had a hiatus from boxing after that loss. Returning in 1976. So by then Foreman had to earn his shot to be given a rematch.
