Teddy should have been the one apologising for pulling a gun on a child for flirting with a child. The Mike and his niece thing was stupid because she was 11 and Mike was 13 and Teddy atlas took it to far and there’s a lot more to it like he wanted to take Mike from Cus at the time.

But raping an 18-year-old girl when I was 22 (not 14 or 15), slandering her with the help of a vile anti-semite like Farrakhan, and never accepting responsibility for the crime -- which, despite my top legal team and the difficulty of proving rape charges beyond reasonable doubt -- for which I was convicted is thankfully not among them. Man this got my eyes watery. I know that there is still alot of energy regarding this topic. Just the other day someone asked Mike on his podcast, I think it was his buddy, "Hey Mike how do you feel about about Teddy" with sort of an awkward tone and I understand why because Teddy seems to be hard on Mike at times, Mike immediately said, "I love Teddy" with a look that could penetrate through many life times. I know he doesn't even want to discuss Teddy in anyway negative what so ever. I agree with the others that they should get together, I think Teddy in the Hotbox would be great. I often tell people around me sometimes in life you get one chance to learn one lesson and there are maybe many things Teddy and Mike have to learn from each other or themselves, and there could be many things we can learn from watching and listening.

One thing I wish I had more control over is my emotions. It sucks when you can't be in control of something that's yours, something that belongs to you.

Myself, along with many others deal with the past differently. It torments us and its not as easy as just growing a pair. When we know we have done bad, it plagues our minds and we must find the courage within ourselves to forgive, but also tell the soul whom we cause harm to that we are sorry. It doesn't matter what you may have said to us behind our backs after the incident, we deserved it and most of us find closure in facing the past in order to move on to the future.
To people that don't know this experience, its like a mental illness. You tell yourself you deserve no joy until you have suffer enough. The problem is that you dont know the right amount of suffering, thus you take weeks/months/years off your life because you feel like its the right thing to do, or if you believe in a higher power/karma, suffering in those moments will soften the blow later in life. It doesn't, we are all destined to suffer and feeling like you can curve it by thinking you're in control will waste your life.
I truly think Mike was sincere. Terry may have not seen the transformation that he has undergone throughout the years and hell, even Holyfield forgave him after biting his ear off!
In the way Terry talks about this, it sounded like these thoughts were never on his mind, yet Mike suffer so long with this burden. I am glad there is some closure, but i dont see Terry wanting to rebuild that bond again and that is okay. Mike needed this for his sanity, and i am sure that Terry is happy that he is admitting he was wrong.

Apart of what makes this podcast so great is Ken's ability to let Teddy be Teddy. Now we know Teddy is going to be Teddy regardless, but many co-hosts far too often interrupt and try to give their input and Ken sits there patiently and allows Teddy the time to tell his stories and give his perspectives. I love it.
