Seems like the current defense of the Tates from his fans is that its already been years with no conviction. I don't think they understand that with the severity of the charges against him, and the amount of people involved that a case like that could take a long time. It reminds me of the Depp v. Heard trial in that way where that took multiple trials over the course of almost a decade. The legal system is slow a lot of the time.
And I don't think they have a right to a speedy trial in Romania, right? If he said that, I missed it.

This is a trend in the western world. People are being prosecuted for minor things that 10 years ago wouldn’t be. This includes prosecution for things like free speech issues. For saying words. Call it the liberal agenda or whatever you want, but it’s not good. The court system has become politicized and judges become compromised. Accusations are not convictions. We’re treading into dangerous waters. This on the level of the Soviet Union.

Hi Bruce it’s now been revealed that it’s not the 4 British women but 21 new alleged new victims. See the new statement put out by the 4 British women’s lawyer. They are now asking that the CPS be held accountable for dropping the ball in their cases. Hopefully this will open it up with the possibility of it going from civil to criminal. But in the light of all this you can understand why an extradition warrant was served, which the UK don’t do very often. Thank you for your excellent videos. ❤

Realistic expectation of a conviction and it being in the public interest is how every case in England and Wales is looked at by the CPS when deciding to prosecute. They could live in plain sight and have their (relative) freedom, meanwhile it's a short flight to Iran where there's zero chance of extradition. Before anyone laughs or thinks I'm being dramatic, this is *exactly* what Irish gangster Daniel Kinahan has been doing for years. Kinahan was rumoured to be off to Kish Island (Iranian territory) but he's comfortable in Dubai so he's stayed there.
I hope the Romanian police are keeping a very, very close eye on them.

It's not a criminal trial, it's a civil trial. The criminal trial wasn't prosecuted in 2012 due to lack of evidence. The two women that accused them of assault crowdfunded the money to pay the barristers to go after them in London. He isn't being charged criminally by the Crown Prosecutor, he's being sued in civil court, hence why the lawyers for the two plaintiffs made a public statement, not the Crown Prosecutor.
