This is a very charming place, I hope I can return to visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
I did the trail a couple months ago and I can really recommend even if you're not religious it was definitely a great experience! Although I only walked from A Coruña do Santiago, the people living on the trail are so nice & helpful!

My country and my former city. Now I live in Pontevedra, I often go to Compostela though. Really good video and choices. I hope you have eaten more traditional food because there are lots!
Oh my gosh! I’m having the most profound experience of dejavu! I was in northern Spain in Oct and had the same adventures!! And I took the same boat ride too and the same thing happened! It was an overflow of mussels, shrimp and wine galore! Well, we were on the wine a bit later than 11 am tho. 😏 And it turned into a party boat with music and dancing!!! It was all so sublime!!! That was also the highlight of my trip. Thank u for this! I pray I’m able to go back and explore more of this gorgeous country! 🙏🏽
The national park where my city is is called Galicica, not Galicia, but when I see these people's faces, or them, I see something very familiar and common.
The hat suits you Sandy. Is the chap in the glasses with you your lucky boyfriend going on adventures with you. Plus I have ben to Santiago but many years ago now.
For anyone interested, there are many "Pilgrimage Trails" throughout Great Britain. Probably the most famous one is the Pilgrimage Trail from WINCHESTER thru LONDON to CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. It was originally to visit the tomb of St. Thomas Becket and was written about by Chaucer in the "Canterbury Tales". Although the tomb was later destroyed, people still do the pilgrimage thru some beautiful English countryside to a historic Cathedral and city. For more info. on pilgrimages in "GB," GOOGLE- The British Pilgrimage Trust.
@@SandyMakesSense Yes, I walked part of the way from LONDON to CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. You do not realize how beautiful the English countryside is until you walk through it. My cousin and her husband walked "EL CAMINO" from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela last summer and loved it. Did you go inside the Cathedral during a service and see the huge incense maker in action? BTW there is a convent in MADRID with the same Order of nuns who will sell you their cakes using the same revolving door method! Enjoyed the Mussel Tour Boat;" WINE, its not just for breakfast anymore!". Great hat! Your "intrepid traveller" hat! I really do appreciate how you interact with your subs- Not like too many other "social influencers" on UTUBE.
I get it, you're pretty, but 99.9% of this video is a close up of your face. Extremely annoying video, so I couldn't view it in its entirety. My advice? Next time, more Galicia, less you.
Would you do the pilgrimage trail???
i think i would be too scared
🎆🎄⛅ Yesss
Lol she says NO to the hat, go outdoors and she'd be like ... YAAAAYS!
Thanks for the tips. Hope to see this beautiful place in the future.

How many Kilometres did you walk?
Probably better if you're not religious. Then you don't have to burn anyone at the stake. 😁
