BTW the other commenters are talking about penetrating oil and a torch mean to apply penetrating oil ( a very thin oil which can go into the small space between the screw and body ) and a blowtorch on the screw, the blowtorch will heat the metal and cause it to expand, allowing the screw to break some of rust and come loose, as well as annealing the metal so it isn't as brittle, preventing catastrocatastrophic shearing, I.e. breaking of the screw
I hope you will enjoy the video 🥰🥰🥰
Your video inspired me to refurbish my old Craftsman. Nice job! Thank you.
thank youuu❤️❤️❤️
Nice job and all that. I don't think I've ever seen a motor that splits along the axis parallel to the shaft. It seems like a pretty good design.
thank you ^^
I think this design is quite good for small machines
What’s really amazing is that he didn’t sandblast any of the skin on his left hand. Who needs safety??
The gloves are broken, I'm waiting to replace them, it's dangerous so don't do this, be more careful when spraying
At the beginning I was thinking " no way he gets this running again". Amazing job
When I restored it, I thought it wouldn't work anymore😅
Amazing job, that’s a true restoration. Your channel is going to take off 😊
many thank ^^
Great restoration, you don't see many portable grinders these days. Wouldn't mind having that one myself :)
thank you ^^ have a nice day

Dude... Ever heard of penetrating oil and torch?
What do you mean?😅
Dude sure Hulked out on -those cover guard- *all of the* screws. I'm surprised more didn't break.
@@hbrestorationOil Durex 🤣
@@scottcates it cannot be broken in one go, mostly it is to block small iron filings

Great job. Love the blue color!!!
Thank you ^^ have a nice day
You overtightened the acrylic cover mounts. You can see the crazing on the hinge mount. That's rough. Otherwise, I enjoyed your restoration.
Many thank ^^
Looks like you need to recondition that vise.

No way that rotor was original. WAY too clean.
It's actually very clean
Kojarzysz taki smar WD-40 ?
Pomaga luzować zapieczone śruby.
In the video I used wd-40 but it didn't work. Steel screws screwed into aluminum surfaces are very difficult to open when rusted
A real restoration
thank you ❤️❤️❤️
nice work :3

Can you please provide the name of the tool you used to remove the screws and a link to it, if possible

What's wrong with penetrating oil and heat?
I tried using heat and oil but it didn't work. Or maybe I have to soak it in oil for a long time

Why no WD-40 on the screws and bolts? No wonder they break.👎
Did you watch the whole video? I used wd 40

So what the heck was the point of welding stuff if you’re just going to use ugly filler and paint it 🤦♂️

It's also almost thrown away the way you say

8:25... there is no real reason to give up...don't be hypocrite my friend...hhh 🤨🤨
When those two screws broke, I thought about giving up. I've never restored anything with so many broken screws.
How did you re-create the sticker?
I found information from old labels then redrawn it with software and printed it
Pourquoi ne pas utiliser du degripant genre WD 40 par exemple ?
I used wd 40 as you can see in the video
