I recently worked at cemetery and can confirm, in the last 20 years only one person died, and it was cancer. We did have had someone drive a digger with broken glass on the seat but that was his own choice, even the boss called him an idiot. I loved that job

It's a compilation of letters that this guy has written to different companies over the years, and the responses he got back from them. So idk I imagine they also don't have clean factories, idk. Lowkey worried they're coming for oreod nexr. I'm not even vegan btw, I just liked having one milk free cookie to share with my milk intolerant and vegan friends and to feel less guilty about purchasing sustainability wise . Once he hit 40 they began cutting his pay every year as much as they legally could, dispite him selling more chips per store than he had before. Then they began giving him routes that were extremely far from his home, and very large. He would leave home at 3am some days only to come home at 6pm if he was lucky. They tried to remove his vaction time, and still cut his pay every year They did this for one reason. They knew that the work he did would wear out his joints in his shoulders and arms, and would require treatment downt the road. So rather than running the risk of having to pay for the damage they cause, the moment you turn 40 they simply make the job impossible to do, and pay very little until you quit
It's sad that all these corporations are making millions and billions in profit yet pay their workers jack shit and overwork them rather than hiring more.
"Only" two people have died in five years? That sounds like quite a high incidence of death unless the amount of factory workers is very large. I understand that the incidents may not have been caused directly by a single action during work, and maybe Frito-Lay was just statistically unlucky, but it doesn't look good for the quality of life of their workers if they can maintain their properly like that
