I still remember after someone complained about the meat, the CEO of Taco Bell saying they use 90% beef for their tacos and thought that was going to quell the issue. He never thought people would question what the other 10% was 🤣

@@id10t98 Ground/Minced beef is typically displayed in percentages of meat vs fat. So 90% beef would then be 10% fat (or often written as 90/10 beef), which is fairly lean. Funny gaff out of context, but it being 90% beef is completely correct.

Apparentky there's so much cross contamination in production that they had to add it in ingredients list instead of just "may contain", even though its still not part of the recipe... So idk I imagine they also don't have clean factories, idk.
Lowkey worried they're coming for oreod nexr. I'm not even vegan btw, I just liked having one milk free cookie to share with my milk intolerant and vegan friends and to feel less guilty about purchasing sustainability wise . Your raises for frito lays is way off. It goes down, not up
My dad used to work their selling chips to stores. Once he hit 40 they began cutting his pay every year as much as they legally could, dispite him selling more chips per store than he had before. Then they began giving him routes that were extremely far from his home, and very large. He would leave home at 3am some days only to come home at 6pm if he was lucky. They tried to remove his vaction time, and still cut his pay every year
They did this for one reason. They knew that the work he did would wear out his joints in his shoulders and arms, and would require treatment downt the road. So rather than running the risk of having to pay for the damage they cause, the moment you turn 40 they simply make the job impossible to do, and pay very little until you quit

"Only" two people have died in five years? That sounds like quite a high incidence of death unless the amount of factory workers is very large.
I understand that the incidents may not have been caused directly by a single action during work, and maybe Frito-Lay was just statistically unlucky, but it doesn't look good for the quality of life of their workers if they can maintain their properly like that
