On point. I am diggin' your reviews, and this one hit all the points and a few I didn't think or know about...and this is coming from someone who's at Skypark on the regular. Thanks for the review and the in-depth review. Keep up the rad work! 🤘🏽
Love that place. Went for the first time in April. Ended up converting my day pass to a annual. Which I’ve already been back enough to pay for. Now it’s all gravy for the next 9 months 🤘🏽🤘🏽 One thing you didn’t mention. Is that unlike a lot of ski resorts. SkyPark is open year round. I was riding this spring with snow in between the trees 😮👍🏽 So that annual actually gets you 12 months access to these trails.
Great review! They now have a summer race series each summer on Thursday nights. They rotate every other week between enduro and xc. It's free to race once you've paid admission into the park. You also nailed it with Lou Eddie's Pizza! Some of the wooden features did take a hit in the March '23 storm. But they've been doing a nice job of rebuilding stuff. They're also putting in a Kyle Strait built pump track past the pond near the Tree Line trail. Anyone looking for a place to stay, our cabin is about 12 minutes away in Arrowbear. It sleeps 4 and has bike storage. We're also very close to the Exploration Trail
Im a local and go to skypark regularly like 1-2 a week and i love your review. Lu eddies is amazing and belgium waffle. I’m glad you gave eddies some recognition because not to many tourists go there. Both have long waits that are worth it.
I Live in San Bernardino and as a kid I went to Santa's village right before they closed in the 90s. so when I found out a mountain biker was reopening it as a bike park/out door activity's park years before they opened I could not wait .. fast forward to now I have yet to ride there! lol I'm lucky enough to have my Bike I Just can not afford bike parks right now or Gas to get there.. lol to much info any how I'm sure I will find a way up soon...
Great review! I absolutely love this park! From the trails to the service and food. Everything is spectacular! One important note is that Snow Summit closes in the winter whereas Skypark is generally open all year long.
Its my local bike park. Im there almost every weekend, love the place. My one complaint is that its so small that on the weekends it can get overcrowded, especially when they have events.
Rode here. Loved it!! The trails were amazing and very clean. The only downsides were that it was dusty while riding, there is uphill, and its pricey. But its all worth it for riding there.
If your still in the Arrowhead area you need to check out the Cedar Glen Inn for breakfast. Theres a really good bbq spot in the Big Bear village also. If your hungry after riding Snow Summit.
Nice review! I hit SkyPark about every other weekend. It’s my favorite place to ride 🤘🏼 The pedal up is exactly .7 miles from the base to the top. Just enough to get you warmed up, and after taking a small breather, hit it again 🤙🏼
I'm local and ride SkyPark about 3 days a week. It's a great place! You guys did a good review. I would add one thing - while SkyPark is not dog friendly, pretty much the entire mtn is!
Greer ranch in Murrieta is like a bike park is very technical with lots of burns, Chunky, and jumps. By the way please what do I need to do to get sktikers I need superpowers on my bikes
Just went there yesterday 8/15/21 and for me it isn't a 9/10 bike park. It's more of a 5 maybe 6/10. I'm not talking about the staff or the rest of the park. Santa Village was great. Well maintained and the staff was great. The Bike park itself is lacking. I'm not a fan of the 20min climbs and 5 min downhills. Maybe if I had an ebike my opinion would be different.
Thank you for sharing your opinion Cris. As far as trails, in terms of the number and variety, you are correct, it's not a 9. However the proximity to LA, family friendliness, price of tickets (at the time of production) and local activities in Arrowhead/Big Bear bump it up a bit higher.

Thank you so much MTB Alan!

Absolutely! As long as snow permits, the park is open!

Dusty? I been there so much and i never had dusty trails. I think they are watered down every morning.
@@Cam-uf9ke Depends if you go in the afternoon or later.
Coolderderder maybe but they aren’t lose trails.
@@Cam-uf9ke Well if you are behind someone it gets kinda dusty.
Coolderderder i agree. Do you go to skypark alot?

I'm about to live 7 minutes away from it lol. I wonder how many more things i'm going to break now that i have access to this park year round.

What software do you use to edit your videos before uploading to RUclips? And what settings to you use for the final file that gets uploaded?
We use adobe Premiere Pro CC for editing. As for export, I (Chili Dog) use a custom 1080 preset from the RUclipsr Whoismatt that seems to work well. 👍
@@TheLoamWolf Awesome... Thanks! And great videos!!!
Great review guys..how much is admission
Right now a day pass is $42.
How do you get back up to the top again? Sky lift?
Problem with Lakearrowhead is you can’t do anything on the lake because it’s private no fishing just very expensive boat rides.
Inland empire area of Los Angeles. No sir we are not LA
