It's super fun when you hit it right... there is a big crease sort of thing right in the middle of the berm (you might be able to see it in the video) but if you can get enough speed to go over it it's super fun!
Yeah California bikeparks are definitely drier, looser, and hotter than other bike parks in the world. Although I hear you guys have been dealing with the heat this summer.
I am not nearly as fast so I get that pit in my stomach watching this. Yikes! I do wish Brake Through started where you guys started. The first part is kind of technical and kills your momentum for the climb right after it.
No issues with assembly for me ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".
8:19 "Nice little step down here" -- proceeds to hit 30 foot sender
My thoughts exactly when watching the footage back. 😂 - Jason
That thing looked .massive on video i had to replay it!
its 60 feet if you clear it sorry to nitpick
jptothetree I hit that same jump and that corner was destroyed and washed out that was the end of my day but fun park
@@cashuspuhvel3474 Damn! I knew it looked big, just didn't know it was THAT big.
"you're gonna kinda show me around and make sure I don't get lost?"
*John proceeds to rip ahead at Mach 3*
Hahaha! I was thinking the same thing when the dude dropped him at the top of the mountain 😂🤣 😂🤣 😂😅
I guess it's quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Roman Terrell Meh I use Flixportal. You can find it through google:D -reese
@Reese Clyde Thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I really appreciate it!
@Roman Terrell happy to help :)
How good would it be to have a World Cup round back here, if possible??
pew32 most definitely. I have been thinking this all season 👍
That’d be sick, it’s perfect to have it here!
I came for that berm at 8:11 and was not disappointed. That looks like a ton of fun to ride.
its really fun irl too

Soil texture being volcanic rock is the SICKEST
Mahalo my Dude! 🤙🏼
That looks sick. Got stoked just watching
John rips, really enjoyed this clip
Dude John absolutely slays
Agreed. It was a pleasure (and a struggle) following him around for the day! - Jason
How well suited was the Remedy for the big mountain adventure? Do you think the frame was sturdy enough to go to bike parks semi regularly?
Great product love it
Make it look easy. If it looks this insane from the go-pro I can't imagine what it's really like.
Been riding there for over 25 years...too crowded now in the summer.
It sounds like your biking down SAND
Mahalo my dude!🤙
mammoth had the best POW this year
John - what tires do you recommend for mammoth?
Test used to live there and ride on a daily basis. DHF DHR with double down or DH rated sidewalls. It’s all moon dust and sharp jagged rock
Maybe Maxxis disectors Designed with loose over hard in mine
Aggesai, griffin combo would be good too
Bruh I just missed u😩
U gotta try the pro grt course. There is an insaaannneee rock garden that u should have tried hitting
No gloves, man your hard core 🤣
Awesome
What gopro are you guys using? Looks insanely good also what settings? 4k?
GoPro Hero 7 Black! 4K, 24 fps, Superview. - Jason
Is that beard because you miss Matt? Jkjk
Nice video tho.
That step down at end of smooth operator jesus
60 footer boiiii
🤟🏼 it’s very very spectacular
Ooooo so this is we’re Jason has been. Ifht fan miss you but if this is your dream job then your better off staying
Looks like a lot of soft sand??
I know this is late, but it’s pumice sand. It’s really not bad at all, only a handful of spots are real thick.
What bikes are y’all on?
Nice video 👍
What kind of set up is John riding, that bike is silent
Onyx hubs?
Bontrager wheels and hubs with a lot of grease to make them silent
So you are now quitting your job in the office ? Good on you mate 🙂 ..
Is that the guy from ifht films ??
What bike is he using?
HI, wich bikes are you, both, riding? Thanks!
John was on a Trek Remedy 8 and I am on a Rocky Mountain Altitude C70. - Jason
The dirt looks as loose as sand!
That is accurate to what you'll be riding. the "dirt" is just volcanic sand.
Trevor Butler nice, I wish I had that in the England

Yep socal has some terrible riding
@@testtesttesttesttest884 if by terrible you mean amazing, for sure. haha.
Nice
What are the rules of any bike park Engine you have to wear a helmet or what's the deal
You need a Helmet, and that’s it. Pads and shit are optional. Oh and only class 1 e-bikes.
Why only like 10 seconds of each trail?
Man, it was so fast I was feeling vertigo! Way to go!
Come back man
I will go.
They're like twins...

They look like brothers😂
Nice Video. great location. But that wide angle is terrible to watch... :/
Dang I live an hour away
I only live 10 minutes away
"Shit yeah!"
Why is jason choking me
u should sand down ur brake pads a little i get those are louder than a planes engines
Chestmounted gimbal is it? If so what Gimbal was it because that sh!t is as smoooth as butter.
No gimbal, just the Hero 7 and some good light. - Jason
@@pinkbike DAMN!
I want you see you eat gummy worms
What is he riding???
Dude 1408 if your talking about his bike I think it’s a trek fuel ex 5
Hey i know that guy
I race at Mammoth!
I live at mammoth
Full on Twinzys 🧔🏻
Ifht ?
Whoever thumbs-downed this is a tool.
Is it just me, or does this not look that good? It kinda just seems like it's all sand. Not really my idea of good riding.
first comment!!
