Great video! Audio, content and editing were spot on. We hit Evergreen, Sleigh Ride and Arrow when we visited. We were a little hesitant on trying the others because of our skill level, but this trail guide is perfect to show us what our options are. Subbed.

Hey man, I just got a bike recently and I’ve been dying to go out here, I watch this video about five times because I want to learn the trails and then also the fact the way you talk through out it, maybe I’ll find somebody who wanna there one day, everybody always backs out. Right now it's August 2020 and I've saved this video and re-watch it often. They've made some cool changes up there since you did this vid and I'm there for three days this Thursday (8/13). Also starting 8/13 - they will be open seven days a week! The season pass is a must have! Another great video and commentary Tony. Thanks again.

Great video! Obviously there has been some changes to SkyPark since they have grown over the past couple years. The biggest change I miss is the step-up jump on to the Whale Tail. It was a challenge to work up to that took me a season to get the nerve. I’m glad this place is able to stay open during the pandemic. A nice little drive up for some great riding 🤙🏼

First time there today, place is awesome, arrow was also a favorite, great staff, great vibe from all riders, good grub, beer, and stuff for the non riders to do also. Prices are also great.

Very underrated video, surprised you don't have more likes, watched it all the way through, may pay a visit down there this next spring to get some confidence back, had a pretty nasty crash+head injury a while back, haven't felt the same since about riding. Cheers!

Looks like a great place to take a beginner....even the "double black" trails are easier than what I ride locally
Fun for all levels. The blacks aren’t what I’d say “Trailforks Blacks” but are super fun especially when you get to know them and blast around them. Really cool spot to work on your jump skills too.
I can't believe I've never been there and instead always go to Summit. This looks just as fun in many ways more so. Thanks for creating this video. If you're riding Aliso and need a riding partner for the day, let me know.

If you start watching at 1:15 and look at his front wheel, you can see how his camera's frame rate sort of matches his wheels's rotation, so it almost looks like the wheel isn't moving :)

Wow this was fun to watch, very well done man, subbed! I just recently moved from Hawaii to Aliso Viejo and have been riding Aliso Woods a bunch but these are way more my style. I may be heading up there sooner than later now. Can I ask what you are using as a gimbal for your gopro? Chest mount with the Karma grip or the EVO mount?

Just went to Skypark and it was so fun. Just to let you know, that off map trail you do at the end of your video has been labeled a Blue (intermediate) trail called Knotty or Nice. It's basically a blue trail with a bunch of black diamond stuff on the sides you can choose to do (pretty sure you did all of them)

Maybe a trail bell would be helpful especially at a bike park. When you pass someone, I suggest saying, "on you left/right". That's ski slope etiquette.
It’s one way traffic. Nobody coming up the trail.

How would the place work for a Tandem only looking to do XC type riding
They have XC trails too. Pretty much all terrains available.
Enjoyed the video. My youngest son has recently become interested in mountain biking. He just upgrade to a more capable bike a few weeks ago. We will be heading up to this park soon (weather permitting). We have a few question. When passing someone, both riders going down hill, what is the etiquette? Alway pass left or right? Do you have to say something? Does the slower rider have to yield to the faster rider? I don’t ride so how much are the beers? Thanks!
Right on! I would not pass unless they are allowing you too... - usually the slower rider will yield.

I think it's 40 a day and like 250 yearly. Annual pass is the way to go.

Can I bring a typical all mountain bike or does it have to be a downhill bike.? I have a Giant Trance X1 29er, full suspension .. but it’s not a “downhill” bike.

Do you recommend wearing a full face or simply a XC helmet when riding if you were hitting comet and jumpline? Would the feel/safety be worth the heat while climbing back up?
I have been usually wearing a trail helmet, but am most likely going to switch over to full face for jump line. It feels risky wearing a trail helmet on those, especially considering I just took a major crash and broke my trail helmet this week. I see a pretty even split up there between full face and trail dome pieces. Hope this helps and thanks for being a part of the channel!
