The way I learned to pour a beer was tilt the glass fill it about halfway to 3/4 slowly then you can speed up and straighten out the glass so it forms a head and dissipates some of the fizz

I used to help my brother, a 20 year bartender, in his private parties. He always reminded me to pour the beer slowly like this guy did the first time. I remember one time i poured it quickly because i was overwhelmed with orders , and the guy that i was serving said, "ill take the foam in a box for later." Sarcastically letting me know no one wants that nasty foam, but i dont drink beer so i wouldn't know the difference in taste.

As an american to pour beer and ot will either have all the co2 left or be mostly foam
Learned: dont let americans pur your beer, learn how to properly pour beer in 5m and do it forever...
3 steps, a careful mainpour at a shallow angle for half the beer...
Wait 30 sec until the beer calmed down
Second step
Go to 45 degrees glass, pour in another 25%-30% beer for a prefoaming and wait until the foam settled
Let rest of the beer slowly rinse in a near standing cup.
Be left with good carbon to beerhead ratio

The way I learned to pour a beer was tilt the glass fill it about halfway to 3/4 slowly then you can speed up and straighten out the glass so it forms a head and dissipates some of the fizz

No beer should ever have that much head, he couldn't even fit it all. He owns and renovates bars. He's not a bartender. Two completely different jobs. He's great at what he does, that just so happens to not being pouting drinks. The first way he did it was incorrect too tho so he's half right I guess?

I will say that whenever I have had a beer at a restaurant or a bar that comes from a bottle but is served in a glass, I usually get the bottle with the rest on the side. So don’t think that you’re getting scammed. I mean, think about it, that beer is no longer useable, so it’s not like the bartender is saving money by giving you less, right😉

I used to help my brother, a 20 year bartender, in his private parties. He always reminded me to pour the beer slowly like this guy did the first time. I remember one time i poured it quickly because i was overwhelmed with orders , and the guy that i was serving said, "ill take the foam in a box for later." Sarcastically letting me know no one wants that nasty foam, but i dont drink beer so i wouldn't know the difference in taste.

By the way if you drink decent beer and not that 4.8% ABV cheap ass shit then you get more than enough alcohol in it to make up for that tiny bit left in the bottle.
