    Thank you, Simona! You are amazing! Could you please teach about healthy style, such as healthy food versus junky food or about simple exercises like walking or running? You have such a nice way of teaching, it would be great to learn those topics from you.

      @@SurvivalChinesewithSimona1 Hi, there. Thank you for your reply. I was thinking of a visit to a nutritionist and the patient would say that they want to improve their health. The nutritionist asks if they drink water and they say "no". Then the nutritionist says it is important to stay hydrated, drinking water, hot water, or tea.
      A modern nutritionist would say that there is no problem eating pizza or sweets as long as they are not frequent and as long as they eat fruits and vegetables.
      About healthy style, I would add "Sleep 8h a day" "Meditation" "Listening to music" "Exercise frequently does wonders to your body and mind" "Eat homemade meals is so much better than order food". "To be healthy you must be happy too". "It's not about your weight but the choices you make."
      Something like that, but I'm sure you are more creative than me hahaha
      It would be good if we could use the vocabulary we learned in the grocery video.

    I have a question. How do you ask for a translator if you are unable to describe your own state? Are the translation services available at big hospitals?
    Thank you!

    • @SurvivalChinesewithSimona1
      @SurvivalChinesewithSimona1  3 года назад +2

      Hi, most hospitals don't have translation services, but most doctors can speak at least a little bit of English. Those sentences might be healthful:
      qǐng wèn nǐ huì shuō yīng yǔ ma?
      请问你会说英语吗?
      Can you speak English?
      Qǐng bāng wǒ ān pái yī gè huì shuō yīng yǔ de yī shēng.
      请帮我安排一个会说英语的医生。
      Please help me to arrange a doctor who can speak English.
      qǐng wèn yǒu fān yì fú wù ma?
      请问有翻译服务吗?
      Is there translation service?

      Go to the biggest or best ranking hospital. Usually doctors working for the acclaimed hospital have better education, they are able to speak fluent English, especially in big city.

    Can you have a personal physician/doctor in China? Here in the US, we can make annual appointments with a specific physician who only see, not random doctor we don't know. Is it the same in China?

    • @SurvivalChinesewithSimona1
      @SurvivalChinesewithSimona1  3 года назад +1

      It rare in China. Doctors normally are belong to the clinic or hospital, so if you wanna get a specific doctor, you need to go to the hospital he works and register for him every time.

    • @Checkmate1138
      @Checkmate1138 3 года назад

      @@SurvivalChinesewithSimona1 Ah? That sounds similar to here in the US, I think! We make appointment at the clinic or hospital they work in, and we make appointments in advance.

      How to pronounce [n]:
      Make the tip of your tongue touch against the upper alveolar ridge and let the airflow comes out from nasal cavity companied with the release of the closure in mouth and the vibration of the vocal cord. The sound of [n] is more like the “n” in English word “nine”.
