    In China, hospital tend to treat patient with IV drip or infusion, now if any of you here is medical doctor, is it any better compared to swallowing medicines that will have to go through digestion system rather than going directly into the blood stream?

    • @HowToDoInChina
      @HowToDoInChina  4 месяца назад +1

      No, China mainly treats patients by swallowing medicine instead of infusion, which is why I went to the doctor and she asked me to go to emergency DP for infusion.

      @@HowToDoInChinaIn England there is a triage system. This means that in real time people get pushed up or down tbe queue according to what (the administrator?) views as more important. England sounds like Canada. The Chinese hospital system with electronic terminals especially makes me feel i live in a more primitive time. Like Japanse vs English toilets:)

    • @oluskloc
      @oluskloc 4 месяца назад

      Same in Poland. Anything not life threatening waits soooo long. Broken leg? You can wait 8 hours. Also scheduled appointment have to wait sooo long, months or even years in public healthcare. In very urgent emergency (like someone dying) care is quick and good but otherwise pain and comfort don't matter much.

    "Inflammation is the body’s response to insults, which include infection, trauma, and hypersensitivity. The inflammatory response is complex and involves a variety of mechanisms to defend against pathogens and repair tissue. In the lung, inflammation is usually caused by pathogens or by exposure to toxins, pollutants, irritants, and allergens. During inflammation, numerous types of inflammatory cells are activated. Each releases cytokines and mediators to modify activities of other inflammatory cells. Orchestration of these cells and molecules leads to progression of inflammation. Clinically, acute inflammation is seen in pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), whereas chronic inflammation is represented by asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Because the lung is a vital organ for gas exchange, excessive inflammation can be life threatening. Because the lung is constantly exposed to harmful pathogens, an immediate and intense defense action (mainly inflammation) is required to eliminate the invaders as early as possible. A delicate balance between inflammation and anti-inflammation is essential for lung homeostasis. A full understanding of the underlying mechanisms is vital in the treatment of patients with lung inflammation. This review focuses on cellular and molecular aspects of lung inflammation during acute and chronic inflammatory states."

    interesting video. nice to se how it works in Chinese hospitals. but got a question i know you have universal healthcare in China. but does the state pays that through taxes or do you have to pay it yourself? In the netheralnds we do almost nothing with QR codes China is full of them for pretty much everything. seems handy but i guess its because of apps like WeChat and what not i would say right? i mean you use that app to pay for pretty much everything as well. we dont have that in the Netherlands or the west in general. so we still have to call the hospital up to make an appointment. but in the netherlands we cant just go to the hospital without a doctors referral. unless its urgent like heart attack or appendix problems you name it. anyway nice video. Stay healthy hope you get better soon
