This has been explained in the other comments. It had to be registered as a SBS because with this particular brace attached. It fell below the minimum 26” length required by the ATF to not be considered an NFA regulated item. This is a good example of how messed up the current laws are. Great video Firearms Addict! I ended up putting a black leather strap under the forend on my Tac-14. Just made me too nervous of my hand slipping forward. It was easy enough with some M lok hardware it fit right into the Magpul forend. It also has the benefit of being able to put opposing tension on the gun in the "modified shoulder position" to help aim and not punch yourself in the face.

The Tac-13 runs flawlessly. I am several hundred rounds in with various ammunition types and haven’t experienced a single jam. It won’t run the mini shells though and I have not tried 3”, mainly because of the expense and my 3” stash is low. Thanks for watching, hope you’re doing well.

Would a VERY Bright Focus Beam light be a better answer ??? Maybe it would blind the opponent day or night... Maybe it could be rigged with a thumb actuated switch on the stalk for stealth approach and sudden blind and shoot tactics ???
It seems to be a tricky process, because one does not want to simply paint a lighted target to shoot towards...
