Just what I was looking for
I had a hard time deciding which to keep.
Could you do a comparison between the gc1or gc2 and the acer spin 713 2021 model I was deciding what to get but I'm still researching
11 hours compared to 6 hours damn that's a big difference.
I’m not sure I’ll be able to get one anytime soon, but I did some research before too. I found that the Acer is an all around great chromebook for usability while Samsung focused on mainly design. I think I would have chosen Acer if I didn’t get a good deal on the Galaxy Chromebook.
Love my GC1. Got it for $600, (gotta love Black Friday sales). Surprised you didn't go for red. What you said in your conclusion about battery life is key. If you aren't away from a power source longer than 6 hrs, the battery life wasn't a deal breaker for me either.
Yeah I would have liked the red, but the gray was quite a bit cheaper at the time. I still use it almost daily too. Being able to charge on practically any usb c charger (even slow ones) makes me feel better about taking it on longer trips.
I could be imagining it, but I think one of the recent updates is helping it last longer on battery now.
@@Loaded0 I believe you're right. I've noticed it also and I've read articles saying they were working on it when GC2 launched.
Well, it’s been out for over a year but better late than never for such a nice machine.
