@@holliemcw4995This is a CQF, so it’s safe to say he’ll do more. As for Orel, since all topics are now chosen by Patreon members, if they select a topic that’s moral Orel based, he’ll do it.
I liked his ending having a wife. A job where he can come home for lunch and still not telling his mom. Francis had a great glow up
He may see Lois as an enemy, but he doesn't let anyone outside the immediate family go after her, whether they're extended family or a rude clown.

That is very much evident in the family reunion episode where they go to a family reunion of Hal’s rich family and they are mean to Lois and the boys seek revenge on them for it cause they may not totally get along with her but she’s still there mother and were defending their mother
The great part about this show is that you can analyze pretty much every single main character in depth and none of them would have a boring or uninteresting story to tell.
The fake ATM scam that Francis fell for which got him fired from the Grotto was supposed to be elaborated on. Originally, Eric was meant to return and mastermind the scheme, setting Francis up as the fall guy as revenge for stranding him as they left Alaska, and stealing enough money from Otto to fly back home. The brothers were to beat him up after his plan was revealed.
That actually sounds like a good storyline. Shame we never got to see that
i don´t get this, wasn´t the ATM scam a lie, literally in the same episode after Francis tells the story to Hall, him and Piama are talking about that being a lie and that Francis should resign from the ranch as he was no longer happy working there

Young I was like dewy the youngest. Then when I got older I wanted to be seen like Malcom and Reese. Now as an adult I just want to be stable in life like Francis.
I have a feeling I'm slowly turning into Hal.
Love you're covering this show, Malcom was one of the few reasons i watched UPN as kid. And ya know; not having cable, Simpsons reruns and WWE smackdown
Unless they showed re-runs, UPN didn't air those shows; FOX did. UPN could've had Malcom in The Middle but made the boneheaded decision of passing on it due to it not fitting in with their "Urban" programming tastes.
Ultimately I think the ranch is where Francis needed to be cause it grounded him in a way that the military academy and Alaska never could cause he seemed liked a better person but by the time that part of the show ended cause he seemed to be protective of Otto’s naivety like when a film crew wanted to make a movie at the ranch and he thought it was a regular movie and then Francis get protective when he finds out it’s actually an adult movie they wanted to make for example and it was clear that the show had run its course cause the tv troop of adding a new sibling to the show cause actress playing the mother gets pregnant and they really did nothing with Jamie outside of the episode were it looked like he had a crush on the girl across the street and would stair out the window at her didn’t give new life to the show
Francis was def my favorite character in the show, you really see how far he comes even if the last few seasons weren't kind to him
Malcolm too. Even if the later seasons were kind to Hal, Reese and Dewey, they were particularly harsh on Malcolm and Francis.
Still will always love Francis though. Even if Dewey temporarily took his place as my favourite character.
What a fine way to have Character Quest Fusion make a comeback!
Francis’s character derailment in later seasons was pretty messy, somewhat like Haley in Modern Family but not that bad.
Hes also Danny Masterson's brother. So yeah, nepotism.
Is it though? He was legitimately good as the character, I can believe he earned the role.

@@mechajay3358 this might shock you, but you have a much easier time breaking into an industry when you have a direct connection to it. He had an easier time getting an agent, getting auditions, networking with people in the industry, etc, than those who have no connects. Not just in showbiz, but in any industry. Do you think nepotism played no part in Donald Trump going into real estate, when he was born to a millionaire father who was a whale in the real estate business? You think is an entirely self made underdog like he claims? He built his empire on a small loan of a million dollars? Not mentioning that Trump was in debt, and only got out of it when his father died, and he inherited $200 million from his dad.
They could have done anything else with Francis after the Grotto. ANYTHING! He could've taken over, dealt with the loss of Otto, something. There was a lot of growth there.
In a weird way, Jamie is actually the one boy was able to outsmart Lois at times. The only one to beat her at her game. Pretty impressive considering he is the youngest. It's also interesting how Dewey being the best character of the family is that you either one to be nice to Jamie. Look out for him making him the best sibling one could have
It’s always nice to look back at Malcolm in the Middle as it’s an amazing show. Francis was always in interesting character, so it’s cool to see you talk about him. Keep up the great work man, take care!

Lois and Francis' arguments always reminded me of my older brother and my mom. It's not so bad, but he lives to rile her up and she loves to take the bait.
I loved this show so much. I hope you do more videos on this series
I feel like this transformation was basically telling you he is basically a younger Hal someone who held a powerful possession on his own merit however due unforseeable circumstances had led him to be a cubical wage slave however one thing never changed he always had the love of his life to keep him grounded

I still am amazed of the cult following that this sitcom has. I remember when it was on nick at nite all the time and then on Hulu for even longer.
It was a huge show on fox. It aired alongside The Simpsons and family guy for years. It was also during the years fox was munger one with American Idol. It was also Bryan Cranston's big break. He was known for a recurring role on Seinfeld before this. And Malcolm did the single camera comedy before Scrubs, and The Office.
Saying you remember this from nick at nite makes me feel old. When I think of nick at nite I think of things like the Facts of Life
@@ghost3337 because nick at nite used to play the classics. Stuff from the 50s and 60s. Stuff that was 30-40 years old in the 90s. But now nick at nite is lame because they only play contemporary stuff,thats syndicated everywhere else on TV. Malcolm hadn't even ended it's run 5 years before it was syndicated on nick at nite. Now they play stuff like Mom, Young Sheldon, and Mike and Molly. The oldest show they air now is Friends. Gone are the days of the good stuff like I Love Lucy, and The Honeymoons. Timeless classics still as funny today, as they were 70 years ago.

I watched for sure up until they had another child… then it kinda fell off. But I don’t think there was a BAD EPISODE in the whole series… I mean maybe towards the end end. But like I said I wasn’t actively watching then.
I'd argue there was at least two bad episodes, but those aren't nearly as bad as other shows' version of bad.

It was so weird eith how they ended his arc at the ranch. I always forgot how it ended, and now that I'm reminded, I can't help but say I'm disappointed, especially for a joke that wasnt funny. At least that gives some ideas of what they could've done if Otto wanted to give Francis the ranch since he had to move back home due to family business.
Wait wasn´t the ATM scandal a lie?, in the same episode Piama tells Francis he should call Otto and tell him he is resigning, as Francis looked way happier during the vacation and Piama thought that he wasn´t enjoying the work at the ranch.
I preferred him in Scary Movie 2. A perfect mix of desperate and cowardly
I get they had to change Francis' storyline with Grotto because of thee actor's health, but they could've done a better job tham made him massively incompetent. Like Francis isn't Malcolm's level of smart, but he has othheer skills that he makes up for.

So how come they gave Franices a happy ending with a loving wife and a job at the office but they shitted on Bart with a loveless marriage and him living at the apartment that was his old school ? As Francis was alot more destructive than Bart doing thing she couldnt nor should do at 10 ie unprotective sex
