Malcolm in the Middle and Everybody Hates Chris perfectly portray whats it like to grow up in a middle class-leaning to poor family

Lois and Hal always had trouble when it came to paying the bills
So true reminds me so much of when my family lived in a trailer and we had a hard time making ends meet at times. Lots of love though so it worked out thank goodness

This is hands down the best sitcom of all time because it's exactly not that - a classic sitcom. No poorly written characters, no annoying laugh track, takes place at different locations, not just in one house/living room and it realistically portrays lower middle class life in the 90s/2000s.

Hal: what if I cook meth
I like the rare, lost episode where Hal gets hypnotized and suddenly becomes a teacher in Albuquerque. Extra long episode, but an extremely memorable one.
I deadass started searching for this until I suddenly realized it was a reference
it was revealed it was a dream
My fave gag is that even though they clearly love each other a LOT, Hal loves Lois more than Lois loves Hal.
My favorite running gag in the series are whenever the boys display their extraordinary gifted talents; Francis' leadership, Reese's culinary skills, Malcolm's academics, and Dewey's music.
I adore this sitcom, even though I've seen each episode multiple times each, I still crack up laughing at every joke!

I have loved that show for over 20 years ❣️ How can anyone say that they didn't like Malcolm in the middle?? Each episode was different enough that we could still enjoy each one while I recognized each one as being connected too ❣️‼️ I'm a real fan and can say I'm extremely blessed to see what I can. I love Malcom in the middle. I grew up the same time as them. Looking back I realize that man all 3 Louis kids are geniuses.
Malcolm academic genius, reese culinary, and Dewey music genius.
I remember when everyone was obsessing over breaking bad and telling me to watch it and I was like, sorry but I cannot watch that show and not picture Bryan Cranston in his speed walker suit on Malcolm in the Middle the entire time.
this show got me through hard times
It’s honestly hard for me to tell who’s more to blame for the conflict between Francis and Lois
On one hand, flashbacks show Francis already exhibiting signs of misbehaving from a very young age
But there’s also examples of Lois and Hal’s rather flawed parenting like forgetting baby Francis in a basket in the closest for a number of minutes
This show is a classic

That joke about Reese’s homework made me laugh out loud!
This show is amazing. It's on Disney. Still watching it till this day. It's heisenburgs life before he met Skylar.

Reese is a genius in certain interests, like bullying and cooking. He usually lacks motivation or talent sometimes, but he does have certain talents. He is a savant chef. If it involves destruction or weaponry, he is quite good. He probably should have gone to military school as well.

Lois:I’ll tell you what they’re gonna pay you they’re gonna pay you what all jobs pay less than what you’re worth and just enough to keep you crawling back for more lol

This is one of my top favorite shows of all time. This hits me in my childhood. The ole nostalgia bones.
This show is underrated
10:19, their last name is probably somewhere between Jetson (because of the ‘Reese Joins the Army special where he’s known as Private Jetson) and Wilkinson (because of the pilot episode with Francis’ name tag)
Whenever I re-watch these series I experience the spectra of emotions✨I feel safe, I feel comfort, I want to laugh and admire actors’ talents. Also this show looks like perfect twisted prequel to BB😂
Yes! The hamster ball is so hilarious. How the heck does it make it's way to Alaska?
Literally, the only "running gag" in this list is the Hampster ball.
HAL is the best character. I love this guy! One thing always bugged me though. The family always had money related issues, yet francies was always able to visit the family for the regular seasonal events. But how? He lived thousands of miles away… according to francies himself

I don’t know if it was a recurring thing but sometimes when Ira arrived unannounced something bad happened the sky got dark or the weather got cold I don’t remember well
How has no one mentioned this huge running gag throughout almost every season? The same guy who is always in his yard staring judgementally at the family's shenanigans

How about Top 15 episodes. I haven't seen anyone mention it. So I will try. Now the top 4 are my favorites. The rest is in no order. (15) The episode about Dewey watching Greg's cat. My favorite episodes are always with Hal freaking out. (14) is actually the following episode where the kids want a minibike. (13) Traffic Jam (12)Casino (11) House Boat (10) Charity (9) Zoo (8) Grandma and Grandpa get a new fridge. (7) Garage Sale (6) Ida's boyfriend (5) Lois looking for a blender receipt. (4)The Christmas tree episode. (3) the Episode with the Bats (2) the Monkey. And (1) the couch on the train tracks. Actually I could have had others on top but oh well I will at least mention them. The one where Hal finds out they have no insurance. The one where Dewey earns money but it goes to a washer and dryer. And the episode where Dewey is seeing another mother. And Reese is hanging in a dog pack.
I figured Malcolm's narrations would've been #1.
Even though they have no official family name, seems most fans use “Wilkerson”

The only reason why I like the episode Evacuation is because of the ending Lois was completely selfish in this one grounding Malcolm made no sense and then Hal not admitting earlier that he caused the train wreck and to add insult to injury Dewey lies to people that he is an orphan only because he wanted attention
If it was Lois’s rage it would be incorrect grammar
