@@airyeric I would do everything the same except I would not be so quick to pull the tape off. I would have spent a little more time positioning it on the hatch once I pushed the pins down. Those clips can move around a little. My alignment is good but not perfect.
if you are willing to take a leap, i know he got his from COX, but another option to get these spoilers are A4h-Tech , which is where i got mine :). Was going to get the cox one but i found out there was a carbon fiber one available at A4H and decided to take a chance with that. Can't really go wrong with OEM :)
I was afraid if I repeatedly pulled the hatch down from the top of the spoiler, it might come off. It’s possible to just use the tape but I knew it would never come off if I used the clips.

I'm also hesitant about drilling but after watching you I may take the leap. It is a cool looking accent on the hatch!
