Thank you. I just Bought this truck and it was nice to see that you mentioned the alternate audio control behind the steering wheel. Whoo hoo! I did not know it was there. Thank you
I'm not much of a truck guy (I drive a Prius), but I freakin' love this one. Let me know what you think. And if you've got a minute, check out my review of the 2017 model: ruclips.net/video/nU3CihsmpK8/видео.html. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what I'm doing better and worse (especially worse). Thanks. And cheers!
Great review. I recently had a 1500 Big Horn for a couple of days as a dealer loaner and I really enjoyed it. I like how high you sit and the 5.7 is a great engine.
I know! I saw that when I was editing the footage. I can't believe I missed it. Thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully I'll get another RAM soon so I can do a quick update video.
I just bought a 2018 Big Horn 4x4. You forgot to mention also the fold away side mirrors. Mine also has heated seats and lights in the bed near the tailgate that also has 2 switches. One in cab and one near the left light. And the info center has Alexa type voice controls too!
Great review. I did a lot of research, and decided on a 2017 model, and I love it. Your review helped me discover some things I overlooked in the manual. Thanks.
I just picked up a 2017 Big Horn quad cab not the crew cab 23000 Miles ..I'm wondering if you had any issues with yours? Hearing a little squeaking coming at idle sounds like a bad bearing or something goes on then goes away then comes on it's like pulsating
LOVE this truck. The exterior is very brawny and masculine without being too over the top. It has the same engine as my challenger. I like the interior as well and the gear knob....whatever its called....the knob used to put it in drive, park, etc is a nice feature. If I was looking for a truck it definitely would be on my short list.
100 Rental Cars yeah I love it. Insurance is higher, I pay more for gas but I have what I wanted and that matters. Sometimes you have to deal with the bad to have the good if the good to you is worth it.
The Big Horn is A LOT nicer than the SLT, even though it IS based on the SLT... chrome wheels, a nicer grade of fabric, and the 8.4" touch screen are a few of the main differences... my boss has a near identical truck in charcoal gray (RAM calls it Granite Crystal Pearl) (a 2014) with different wheels, but it's a Big Horn Crew Cab HEMI with the same options as this. I've rode in it dozens of times, and it's a sweet truck... sweet sound from the big dual exhausts out back (another difference from the single exhaust on the SLT), and pretty powerful. While I'm a Chevy Truck guy because that's what our dealership I work for sells, I still have a soft spot for the RAM. Great trucks!!! :)
I rented a Nissan Frontier and the guy upgraded me to this truck, minus the 4×4. I put about 1,000 miles on it, beginning in Anaheim, going to San Diego, Yuma, Phoenix, Venice (LA) and finally back to Anaheim. Great truck, but that HEMI eats gas.
The one you had was a Crew Cab it has a 5ft 7in bed, not a 6ft 4in. That is on the Quad cab model. As far as pricey, I got just over 11k of the sticker of mine.
I noticed the towing capacity went up significantly from '17 to '18 5.7L Rams. Did they make big changes to engine? I'm in the market for '18. I do a lot towing in Rockies.
Tattooedsailor it should be exactly the same as nothing in the powertrain changed between those years. You might have been looking at a model with a different towing configuration.
100 rental cars i love your channel i too frequently rent cars because i frequently travel to Orlando i live in boca Raton which is an hour away from Miami the other reason i rent cars frequently is because i own a bmw and it’s frequently in the shop being repaired i will start making videos about rental cars
Most of the 1500s are and have always been made in Warren, MI, at Warren Assembly. The heavier-duty models as well as some supplemental production of the 1500s was done in Saltillo, Mexico. The 2019s are produced at Warren Assembly as well as Sterling Heights Assembly in Sterling Heights, MI.
100 Rental Cars Enterprise I’ve never rented with any other company but I like Enterprise. I’m going to be renting with Avis pretty soon and I’m not sure how it’ll be
Hello good car I generally really like the American auto industry, Chrysler, Dodge, jeep and Dodge RAM, and the Italian company Fiat I do not really like.
For a kid who drives around in a beat up 2002 chevy, this is a dream come true.
Thank you. I just Bought this truck and it was nice to see that you mentioned the alternate audio control behind the steering wheel. Whoo hoo! I did not know it was there. Thank you
Just got a 19 classic big horn, love the truck
Tito Razo yeah me too man that thing is Sweet
@Yosef Shane should’ve stopped at no one gives a damn

I LOVE my 2017 RAM 1500 Laramie ......very comfy ....I do recommend RAm 1500 .
Great review. One big miss is the 2 coolers in the back under the floor mats. They are a great hidden feature!
I know! I saw that when I was editing the footage. I can't believe I missed it. Thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully I'll get another RAM soon so I can do a quick update video.
Also the storage under the mats

Did u just drive through the truck scales thinking that meant you and your huge ram
You forgot the most important things!, the ice buckets 🪣 in the back floors! 🎉🍻🤘😎
Love my 2015 Bighorn. It's been a great truck. Only complaint is gas mileage, but it is a 4x4 brick;)
Your videos are just the best I enjoy watching them and congratulations having a really cool channel
Thanks Jeremy! I really appreciate the kind words. And please, don't be shy if you think there's something I can do better. Criticism help. Cheers!
Love my 1500 Big Horn.
The front middle seat bottom folds up for more storage
I noticed that when I was editing. I can't believe I missed it. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll try and do an update the next time I drive a 1500.
Looking to purchase one. Helpful to know all the features. Thanks
Great review. I did a lot of research, and decided on a 2017 model, and I love it. Your review helped me discover some things I overlooked in the manual. Thanks.
Did you upgrade the speakers in your?!

I just bought a 2019 Ram 1500 as well. I love it.
I bet. It's a great truck.
Remember when starting the vehicle with a key FOB flick quick to the right do not turn right and hold

You have a Challenger with a Hemi V8? Wow that must be super fun. Damn I'm jealous.
100 Rental Cars yeah I love it. Insurance is higher, I pay more for gas but I have what I wanted and that matters. Sometimes you have to deal with the bad to have the good if the good to you is worth it.
Thx.. I love the ram 1500

SLT has less equipment.
Should people be worried about the transmission though? Im not brand biased at all. Just want to know the real issues.
It does sound amazing, right? I tried to record some audio to share, but it didn't come out well. One of these days I'll get some better equipment...
I live in south Florida and my local enterprise has a huge selection and they even have a few bmws at my local enterprise
Very great review
Красота хочу такую же👍👍👍👍👍

Would love to see you in a corvette ! Thinking of renting one in the future
At my Chrysler Jeep dodge ran dealership there is an on-site enterprise that has a lot of minivans and frequently has a lot of Chrysler products
Does this truck take unleaded gas? Or diesel
F150 has the best back seat floor, it is completely flat you can fold the seats up and put a mini mattress to sleep in
Not to be nosy or anything, but what job would require all of these rental cars?
Nothing that interesting. I'm just a glorified paper pusher.
Love the videos 👍🏼
Thanks Hunter!

That one is the 6'4" bed.
when you remote start, is the key still required in the ignition to drive?
corwin r can confirm
Yes
They did redesign this Ram for 2019
Yep, and it looks amazing. I can't wait.
Why you go through weigh station?
Can you do another review for the Ford Fusion 2017 hybrid titanium

100 Rental Cars what will you do after 100? I love your videos!

My grandmother has this...
Damn...your Grandma's a cool lady. ✌️
Great Review Bro
Great review as always! I have one problem with these: they’re made in Mexico. However, the 2019’s are made in the United States. Nice job 👍
Trenton Hull my 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn was made in Warren MI
I think Chrysler has two plants making these one in the US and one in Mexico
I didn't know that. Well, hopefully at least some of the parts are made here in the USA.
100 Rental Cars every car has us, Canadian, and mexican parts.
Gotta change the channel name to 500 Rental Cars soon :)
How about 1,000 Rental Cars?
I like it!!!
I am getting 20mpg in my 2018 BigHorn 4WD
Which company do you typically rent from?
Almost always Enterprise. How about you?
100 Rental Cars Enterprise
I’ve never rented with any other company but I like Enterprise. I’m going to be renting with Avis pretty soon and I’m not sure how it’ll be
I've rented from Avis and it was fine. Really it's just the luck of the draw. If you get a kind, competent employee...everything will be good.
Diesel?
Do a Jeep Wrangler if not do a renegade or a cherrokee
I've already done all three! But the Wrangler is on the top of my list to do again. I totally want to take the doors off and go cruising around town.
Umm hey you put diesel in it 🤦♂️
Hello good car I generally really like the American auto industry, Chrysler, Dodge, jeep and Dodge RAM, and the Italian company Fiat I do not really like.
Thanks! 😀👍
Put diesel on it lol
At 1:50 in, you’re putting diesel in a gas tank... 🤷🏻♂️
Some stations color different from the standard
