I just got the book while watching this. I got $100M Leads, too! You're an inspiration, Deya! I subscribed when you were below 10K subscribers and to see how much you've grown so quickly tells me you're providing tremendous value! I am a web developer, and I've been struggling with my business (if you wanna call it that) for 2 years. I've been getting clients that aren't ideal, and all from word-of-mouth. I've been so afraid to do outreach it paralyzes me. This book seems to reframe the fear and make it a challenge. I LOVE challenges! Last week I got 3 rejections. This week, I'll 10x that. I just needed to know how to find the right clients. After watching your video on how to find the right clients, I believe I have a great strategy for consistent clients. Market research and a minimum viable product is this weeks goal.
@@thesacredbombshell I haven't started it yet. I started $100M Offers first. I'm almost finished with it. It's a good book and has lots of resources for extensive learning. Without a solid offer, attempting to attract leads is a waste of time. So I have been really diving deep. I run a digital marketing services company, so I had to get a little creative to apply what I'm learning. This book seems to target businesses that sell products (B2C) more than services (B2B). However, the information is still great. Sales psychology is interchangeable. Some sales strategies used today are over a century old and still work well with modern tech.
i just got a job rejection yesterday that crushed me. coming across this video during a time when i'm trying to land a job post-layoff feels very timely. thank you for this awesome content! also kudos to your video editor!

OMG this is a gem. This is literally one of the best videos I have ever seen. Nowadays there are so many RUclipsrs that doesn't even provide any value or real steps to take but your video consists of valuable lessons. Thank you. I needed it
I think it's so cool how authentic you are, and what you value in your youtube account. Also, this was such a great summary of the book. Thankyou so much!
I’m so excited by your channel! I’ve been thinking of starting a business for longer than I’d care to admit but I get overwhelmed my all the details. It’s novel to hear that I can just start by having conversations and to actively seek rejection! Looking forward to hearing more from you and joining your community ❤
ah i totally understand the struggle -- it took me yeaaaars to even admit I wanted a business of my own. The only way I started was by actually creating a 15-min a day rule for myself where every day for at least 15 minutes, I'd work on my business, even if that was just 15 mins laying on the floor thinking about it haha The small, tiny steps every day made the biggest difference; that business has gone on to make hundreds of thousands of dollars now. It all began with a 15-min commitment! :) Couple that with trying a LOT of times + actively seeking rejection and you can't go wrong! You'll get incredible feedback from potential customers/clients and can then build a business that really solves problems for them + is a win-win for both. Cheering you on -- keep me updated! :)
Girl omg you explained this book so well! I’m so glad I watched this🤣It inspired me and made me rethink my approach to being a business owner. Thank you for making this queen!🙏🏼💗
Just found your channel and so happy I did- you have a gift for being practical, helpful videos, concise with caring - definitely a fan bingeing on other videos
I listened to this book, but to have someone explain things made way more sense to me. I should go listen to this again. You're doing great, keep it up!
Thanks a lot for this. I had stopped experimenting for a while and forgot how important it is to keep experimenting. I was searching for something like this to fix my mindset and restart everything I used to do, want to do, and enjoy. You mentioned enough strong points to convince me to start again :)
These were great reminders - I am focused on the small steps right now. I've made my first few hundred dollars online and I only made that progress when I stopped focusing on 'How to make it to 10k' and 'Who can I best serve and how'.
Love this reframing of your own goals! My first step is getting my clothes on a market - I’ve made up a whole website and lots of products and I need to start focusing on smaller steps
I am leaving this comment here so that after some hours, days, months or years when someone likes or comments on it, I will be reminded to watch this video again. Great Video!
Deya - cannot thank you enough for this video. It showed up at just the right time when I am having a lot of fear and inertia in validating and starting my business. Your advice for smaller tangible goals is helping me overcome that inertia and get started. I’m so grateful!
I stumbled upon this video and I decided to subscribe when you said you wanted to quit making RUclips videos after making a few videos but decided to persevere until you make 100 videos. This really spoke with me. Thank you for sharing this wisdom.
THANK YOU SO MUCCHHH! I'm launching my business next week and have been procrastinating doing it for months now this video gave me the IDEAS to hold on to, aside from the courage to finally put this little business out to the world wohooo GIRLLL I LOVE YOU God bless! ❤
This is such a great video Deya and I just love how you managed to pack so much value into just 12 minutes! You have inspired me to fully commit to trying to get rejections at every single possibility. This is the number one thing LITERALLY EVERY book seems to talk about. It seems like when you go searching for rejections, you get more of what you want. Anyways, just a couple of things I did in the past hour that can hopefully inspire some of you: 1) Spoke to a stranger in a cafe, ended up chatting for like 20 minutes and got loads of tips about University, life advice for the future and the value of relationships. 2) Walked into a SUPER BOUGIE co-working space and ended up getting a tour and explored the rooftop terrace that had a view of the Shard. The main thing I can say to other people is that, when you go searching for more rejections, you end up getting more acceptances as well. Inaction is a form of action, so just take the chance and do more things that scare you! :)
WOAH!!! good job implementing & taking action. what great wins! :) I love "inaction is a form of action" - so true. Cheering you on as you get more and more of those rejections (+ acceptances!)
Absolutely love this!!! Going right away to take those small steps. I have only recently started collecting rejections and it's already become easier for me to approach people to ask things. I saw a two videos of you today and have happily subscribed!
Thanks for this. Been super hesitant about reaching out to "too many" people to proof a concept or get a client. As simple as it sounds, setting that goal of 100 seems like a solid approach.
Appreciate the reminder about market validation!!! I created a flare-friendly recipe book for my gut health business and didn’t think about validating it first lol
YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I am honestly floored! You made me realize all these internal mini fears I had about starting my own biz!! I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ABOUT ALL YOUR DARESSSSS
So inspiringggg. I'm about to finish my unpaid internship now and really concerned if I can stay or not. Your sharing just makes me thing that it's not a big deal if I cannot stay, Cause it's just another rejection and I can reach out for my until hearing a "YES". Love your content. Don't stop
the rejections part is very real... I reached out to 5 businesses to pitch video editing skills/ collab, didn't hear back and got discouraged and stopped.
Thank you so much for putting this together ❤️ I read so many great books but hadn’t found this one yet! It’s also refreshing to have support online that promotes a certain level of accountability and action without the direct “all or nothing” intensity so often seen ✨
This video is exactly what I needed! 🙌 I love how you cut through the fluff and get straight to the actionable advice. The idea of setting a 'rejections goal' is such a mindset shift, and it's really encouraging to hear that experimenting and taking risks are essential parts of the process. Also, the reminder to validate ideas quickly with real customers before overthinking everything is gold. 💡 I'm definitely going to try getting one rejection this week and see how it goes! Thanks for sharing these insights - can't wait to see what's in the business book club!
First time watching you, clicked on your video to check out the book review but kept listening to the end because Your personality is awesome, so glad that RUclips recommended me your channel.
So glad I stumbled across your channel. It sounds like your business is exactly what I’m trying to start. Looking forward to inhaling all of your content! Lol
These book videos are great! I read it back when it came out, but I hadn't decided what kind of business I would start. I have my notes and highlights, but your review really helped fill in the gaps. Thank you! Now, all I've got to do is take up your challenge. 😅
Thank you so much for those 4 lessons. I experienced all 4 yesterday when one of my prospected clients said no because of a lack of money on their part. I have closed other deals but getting 100 "rejections" is a good goal, and I made more than $1 already :-)
Deya your videos have been helping me a lot! I decided to become an entrepreneur and have my own business because I too couldn’t dedicate my life to work on a 9-5 office job. It’s been hard af but your videos remind me why I’m making this ❤. New subscriber here!
Appreciate your videos, Deya. I’ve been hovering around the $1000 per month mark writing articles for about two years now and am taking initiative to reach the next level ($5k) per month. Been watching a few of your videos lately and appreciate your take on blending growth-based action with actually enjoying your life. Here’s the real question though: what version of WoW are you playing and what class do you main?
I needed to hear this today. What would be really nice is if you take these points and create screen shots and then save them as your rotating screensaver. I do that as a reminder.
Love your video. You are so eloquent. Everything you are saying are so relatable. The energy i spend on starting a RUclips channel i probably spend less energy if i just do it.
Hey Deya! I appreciate the time and effort you put on summarizing this book! Haven't heard of that book before, but from a bit of experience on managing a business I can tell the tips are spot on! Sometimes it's just not that easy to deal with rejections, but that's the main part of selling something. And business exist to sell stuff. Hope you achieve your 1.000.000 active participants on the channel, and that we can build a nice community! Cheers!
This is really helpful. Thank you. I just listened to a podcast interview with Noah Kagan and was intrigued. This confirms that the book is going to be just what I need to get past my analysis paralysis.
I got a lot of nos this week. They didn’t feel bad but I forgot to celebrate them. Now with your reminder I just got my first no of the morning, and it felt great! Thank you!
You can count me in to your 100 attentive subscribers! Thank you for this video. I have a lifelong fear of rejections but somehow you make me want to go out there and face em all 😊
Listening to this video until the end and now I just added more things on my to-do. Im about to start, well more like continuing my grandfather's farm with no background on Agribusiness or whatsoever but I'm learning the step by step, the basic and starting planting my very mini veggie garden.
This is actually a valuable video. I think over the years, I started doing some of these steps, but still have other things to try and improve upon. Thank you for this video
Thank you for this video and the reminder to celebrate rejection. Success depends on us telling people what we're up to in the world and giving them the opportunity to join us ❤
I randomly came across your video. I also started an EdTech business in Bangkok. Still under development but has talked to only a group of private school teachers to craft the value proposition. But here is why I had to hit that subscribe button which I normally dont. The rejection object really makes sense. I will definitely try. Never thought of it that way. NB. I like the way you talk and your rationale in things. Keep making videos. Thx a lot.
The thing I get stuck on when I think about starting a business is what if I spend money on equipment and materials and experiment but then I don’t actually enjoy that type of business much less succeed.
Check out the book, it has several ideas for starting a business that would have minimal startup cost. But there are definitely social or emotional costs for rejection lol
The trick is to sell before you create anything. Try to get people to buy a product (just build a landing page) and see if you can get people to buy. Once you have buyers lined up then build.
Great video!!! Really loved the way you explained it with so much clarity yet keeping it concise. PS: Subscribed half way through the video. Looking forward for more business book summaries.
Wow Deya that was such an insightful video. I am in corporate and desperately trying to start my own thing in a hobby that also grew into a love that expands from my industrial psychology vocation.I don't have much time to waste, so this is such a wonderful way to get insights into these books to optimise my time over weekends as I grow my little side gig into something I can also one day feel about as you do. Your passion is contagious. Thank you for your content - I know what it takes to go into creating it and it is high value content that will go further miles in this world where people need substance and value to fuel them.
Super-fine (insightful smiling expression) in terms of 100 times rejection of incredible things has stand out at large scale of selling art is invaluable things.
This info is ❤🔥🎉 Especially for those of us who overthink starting our business and have a fear of selling because of the possibility of being rejected. So 'Thank you' 😊
Yaaasss, I stumbled upon your channel yesterday, I love it. I’ve been vloging for over 3 months and not edited a single one yet 🥲🥲😅 your channel and this video specifically was a big inspiration to start editing 🤭🙏🙏🙏🌸
I am a small business owner, that runs a VR art gallery. Your content is always a joy to watch and highly informative. Thank you for this video! It was very helpful. I especially liked the quote from Noah Kagan!
Thank you for making this video, it helped give me some insight on what steps I haven't been taking to build up my small art business. That fear of rejection, really gets in the way and I think it is such a valuable tip to collect them like tiny treasures. I'll keep following your work, because I really think you add value and promote positive mindsets!
I love cozy business owners like you, you are what I strive to be! This also validates my opinions on Hormozi’s books, I always found them helpful but didn’t know if I was just being capitalistic or not. We all have to make money, but we don’t need to make a million dollars, that’s for sure. Just my opinion, and thanks for an amazing video
So happy I found your channel! You're style suits me! I'm listening to Hormozis, Noah Kaagan, Tim ferriss etc, but this channel will be my new favorite I think =)
Deya, Thanks for the video - very helpful. Im thinking of starting a business advising home buyers in the uk on how to navigate the process (no one really doing this in the same way I'm thinking). Your review of the Million Dollar weekend ideas was great on getting me to think whether there really is a business in this, who to ask for help/support (rejections), how to boil what I'm offering down to a minimum and see if people will buy. I really know very little of the marketing, channel building stuff but I know I can help/educate people and make the home buying process much less stressful for a lot of people. Thanks again - I look forwards to watching more.

2. Don't abandon anything before doing that 100x after ample experimentation.

Been watching a few of your videos lately and appreciate your take on blending growth-based action with actually enjoying your life. Here’s the real question though: what version of WoW are you playing and what class do you main?
Watched a little bit, sounds great. Looking forward to continue watching
I needed to hear this today. What would be really nice is if you take these points and create screen shots and then save them as your rotating screensaver. I do that as a reminder.
If you want to make a million write an ebook on how to make a million. Done.
And sell it for 1 million
that's why more of the books can be summarized in 1 to 3 sentences.
It is not about writing only. but about marketing and sales. impact millions and make millions.
How did that work out for you?
I agree with you😂😂
Love your video.
Thank you!
RUclips isn't a paycheck,
It is a place where you can find opening doors.
The quote about 100 was the magic of RUclips. tHanks for the video
Success depends on us telling people what we're up to in the world and giving them the opportunity to join us ❤
I watch all (or at least most) of your videos and this one has to be one of my faves!
so happy to hear that, thank you!!! I've got a similar one coming out for another book but if you have any other books you'd like to see lmk!
I truly enjoy you as I hope this for myself when I start to produce my videos consistently
Thx a lot.
Wow you are awesome! The sprouted thing is a big help to my mindset
EXCELLENT VIDEO…. I stayed until the end…and I’m wasn’t even looking to improve my selling skills…now I am!
Just stumbled upon your video and it was very helpful! I've been thinking to be freelnacer but never did it out of fear of failure.
This was awesome!! As a mom who has no time to read this is perfect
The dress is fabulous. It was the dress and its marvelous pattern that caught my attention when looking for something to watch.
I love your content so much! So down to earth, so informing and just so good. Also i love your dress and that its recycled 😍
Thank you for the video and kinda unrelated but you look glam here Deya! 🔥
Super-fine (insightful smiling expression) in terms of 100 times rejection of incredible things has stand out at large scale of selling art is invaluable things.
I don't know how I get here but it's the most useful information I've received these MONTHS !!!!!!!!!!!! :-) Thanks a lot for sharing this !
❤️ Thank you for your insight and the time it took to teach us.
As a software engineer, who has started to get more into the business and product side of things, I think this video is gold! :)
1. Stunning dress
2. Crazy cat/s, lol
3. Excellent video, thank you😊
The zoomies at 5:52 got me cracking up! And agreed, excellent video!
What a great video. I really liked the graphics. They were beautiful, minimalistic and easy to follow. You are also great in front of the camera.
I am a small business owner, that runs a VR art gallery. Your content is always a joy to watch and highly informative. Thank you for this video! It was very helpful. I especially liked the quote from Noah Kagan!
appreciate that, David! VR art gallery sounds super interesting.
Love the colourful dress!
Plus the mindset and content is awesome
This was super concise and so helpful! I like the failure challenge.
You’re such a natural!!
Outstanding content - thank you Deya. I love how you've distilled the key messages and made them immediately actionable.
Keep going girl you’re killing it!
