I loved how in a specific clip, a woman rushed to her baby at the same time as her older mother rushed to her. No matter the age, you always go to protect your child... Even once they have children of her own.
It actually seemed like she was ready to protect both the small child and it's mother. Just wow

Earthquakes are frequent in China, so I’d assume they’d purposely build their buildings in a certain way in order to prevent them from falling and to withstand earthquakes as much as possible. Inside your home, they are shelfs, cabinets, all sorts of things that could crush you. For example, at 0:39 . I understand why they’d tell their citizens to get outside to an **open area** where there are less things that could possibly fall on you. Like a park, or the playground those kids were in.

The brother and sister part warmed my heart the most for me..
It took me back to 2020 when I was just playing with my baby sister when my mom was showering. Knowing I have stronger senses than my other siblings and relatives that are currently in the house that moment, I felt something was off.
I moved closer to where my siblings are and tried to keep my palm on the floor to get better senses of what I was feeling. I was right, not long after that a small quake happened only in parts in and nearby my neighborhood. This quake is relatively small but definitely not weak.
It shook the entire house and my natural instinct was just to shield my siblings with whatever I have, even if it's my own body (knowing I'm way bigger than them, I can shield them all 3 at once).
Sounds a lil crazy but the platform of my roof collapsed right in the room I was in. I was in the part where the shards of the platform could get me, but I covered my siblings so they won't get hurt.
It left a few scars on my back. It is permanent I suppose, but atleast I'm still alive as well as my siblings.

I shed tears of sadness seeing how all these people are making sure their loved ones are protected and guided out of harm’s way!
•the granddaughter who carried her sick grandmother
•the mother whose first thing was to cover her sick daughter with her body and calmly reassured her with soothing pats
•a young brother who didn’t forget his little sister
•a nanny who cared about her job and took responsibility
•a little boy who ensure his mother’s safety
•teachers who make sure children are the first priority and are safe
•a husband who encircled his family with his arms
    •etc
Natural disaster cannot be guaranteed, but families and loved ones are the top priority.

The clip where the (I assume) the grandmother grabbed the mother as the mother grabbed the baby and they both hunkered down at the same time is very heartwarming, and slightly funny because they had the same idea at the exact same time. Glad theyre ok, and hope they have a long future together.

I’m always so amazed by how unified most Asian cultures seem to be. They are so protective of one another, even the children learn this at a young age. They even protect complete strangers. We could learn so much from them. I’m so sorry for the loss of their loved ones.

It makes me remember, the day when a deadly earthquake hit Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2006. It was early morning (approximately 6 AM West Indonesia Time), and I was still asleep. My mom shouts out loud to me from our yard. Firstly, I wake up and notice my room swung so hard. I hardly noticed it at first, but seconds later I ran away safely.
Nothing was destroyed in my neighborhood, since I lived in the Southern part of East Java. The epicenter is hundreds of kilometers away from my home, but it is so deadly that I can feel it too.
