Bless the manager for giving him a few days off to spend time with his daughter. Many would have ignored and not offered any time off.
That's true
Indeed bless the manager for the kindness that gave the family time.
Maybe, it's because the video went viral. I wonder if the boss would still let him go if the video was shown privately. The word I am thinking is 'Publicity' here.
@@SeikaChujo Very unlikely. In such cases people are replaced within one day.
@@SeikaChujo people love the hype of viral stories and to say they helped said person. I've seen it myself with personal and experience and many others. Phew, I thought the girl's parents are dead. It went from being really sad to really sweet

The father posting that video of his daughter was his last call of help. He knows his daughter needs her parents closer and he himself is in so much pain watching how much she misses them. I really hope that he'll be offered a job near his town.

True, my son is only two months old & although I'm a stay at home mom; I live with "mom guilt" constantly over the smallest things. I can't imagine the pain he goes through watching his daughter everyday via a camera but most families still need to do so to provide not only for the family they have built with their partners but also the elderly in both families.
@fairy wishes i get your point, but how are broke people supposed to have offspring then, theyll have to marry into a decent family at least. I'm not defending actual gold diggers or anything, I'm just saying broke people would like to have offspring as well, through any means they can get

that's heartbreaking, never being able to see your kids and having your kids shout at a camera to call to her parents.
I was thinking the exact same.
Why are people in China so desperate for boys instead of girlsB
@@yslee1401 Because of old generational mindset.
They can see their kids, but they choose not to and live in a different city to leave the poor elderly grandmother to bring up their child. It's the child that deserves sympathy, not the parents.
@@NilSatis82 they freaking work in another city, they had to. My mother always worked far from home but that's cause she didn't have the choice.
I'm 22 And I'm not parent but I can understand his feelings It breaks heart into million pieces can't hold my tears
When I was a toddler, my parents used to live in a different city due to work. I used to stay with my grandparents. My mom used to come once a week or sometimes once in a month because the distance between two cities was huge. My grandmother used to distract me by taking to pluck flowers so that I won't cry when my mother or father where leaving. Although I don't remember much, but my parents still remember the pain of separation. It is still visible in their eyes 🥺 I love my parents and my grandparents so much ❤️

This made me cry. ! My little one goes to daycare as I have to work full time 9 -6. For the 9 hours a day putting him in a daycare , I always carry that guilt and burden on my heart for not being able to spend time with him. When I see him on camera in school, eating by himself, sleeping by himself, my heart just breaks. So now a days I don't try to see him on camera. One day when my manager complained about working from home due to covid and trying to suggest that having child at home may be interrupting, I told him that myt son goes in a daycare fulltime and guess what he said, I don't know. I am not there to check. That day I decided to not spend a single more minute at work. just do what they pay you for. they are not worth it. your kids deserve your time.
This just made me think of my dad and his siblings and my grandfather. He immigrated from Mexico and had to leave his kids with my grandmother and would come back every year or so. They were from a very rural area of Mexico. Eventually he brought his whole family with him to the US, but I can’t imagine not seeing my dad for over a year!? And back then their were no phones, cell phones, email, nothing. They barely had electricity.
I have a daughter of the same age. This hits HARD. Every day after work all i want is to go home and see my wife and my kid.
I cant imagine watching my daughter asking for me and her mom yet we couldnt be there and hug her. That would tear me apart.

This is so heartbreaking. I hope the father gets a job in his hometown.
At 1:54 he explains how working in his hometown wouldn’t make enough money. My guess is he lives in a rural area which makes sense
You know how we are literally pushed to work in different places because of higher wages. Certain areas just don't pay enough or as much as other areas for your expenses, a baby needs a lot of things so I get why they need to go.

I was a latch key kid in the 70s and 80s with a single parent mom who worked swing shift. That meant she was in bed when I got up and got ready for school, and she didn't return until long after I had gone to bed. Back then, neighbors watched to make sure nothing strange happened. I can relate. We didn't have cameras. My mom called every night at 9 PM during her break.
Same here. I was born in 72 and starting at 8, I was left at home. I would go through the albums and play music instead of doing my homework. I was a Spyro Gyro and Jazz fan at 8😂. Grandpa owned a record store and would send mom free LPs. I enjoyed being a latchkey kid❤
Anyone saying they should spend more time with their kid they litteraly can’t without losing everything
@Priyojit chatterjee I did not know this, very interesting
@@rokmun680 Hukou literally means the "region of residence". Although not officially in the law, social resources is often allocated based on hukou. For example, Shanghai has the world's top hospitals, but only people with Shanghai hukou can be covered under more favorable Shanghai social medial insurance system. Other provinces' social insurance might not cover expense from Shanghai hospitals at all. Some Chinese immigrants in Canada and Australia told me that it is more difficult for them to immigrate to Shanghai than to Canada or Australia. It is very sad.
@@rokmun680 With that being said, hukou is not an evil measure to lock people in their region(what China Uncensored tries to make you believe). From the social perspective, hukou allows China to gradually increase social welfare according to the economical output of a region. However, in order to completely remove hukou, China must become a lot richer, GDP per capita must double from 10k USD/per person per year to 20k, which is probably why China and US fights. @@pernambuco-viagoogle9505 Sadly, not all parents in every country are allowed much of a choice in such matters. They both must work. Their work is far from home. Not all people are free to live or work wherever they wish. For some this is due to government edict. For others it may be a result of financial constraints. This is actually very common for those kids living in the rural areas in China. Their environment makes them growing up so independent coz they learn cooking, farming and raising their lil siblings and taking care of their grandparents to survive since they're so young. They can only meet their parents once a year. Be grateful when you have parents by your side coz it's a luxury for them.
My mom's friend made the choice to bring her son along into the city instead of leaving him behind. It's an expensive decision that most can't afford.

Their other options are for all of them to die of hunger, be homeless for not paying rent and not able to send their kids to school.
Its a sad state of affairs when society pushes parents to extremes and yet equivocate family values as a moral choice.

The man said he can get a job near home, but the pay is too low for raising his family, that's why he reluctantly chose to work nine hours away from home.
@आदि राजपूत It is not as easy as some of you think. Yes, the pay is higher in bigger cities, yet the living expenses are higher too (especially the housing). Chinese factories/companies usually provide accommodation to their workers, but something like a bed only (i.e., few workers sharing one room, each has their own bed with shared bathroom). As a result, it is impossible for these workers to bring along their families and shift to the place where they're working. They cannot afford the housing & living expenses there.
In other words, they have to earn higher pay in bigger cities and raise their families with their wages in smaller cities that have lower housing & living expenses.
"there are hundreds of thousands" of families in the same position ....
I feel like sometimes we really do take what we have for granted. How lucky to those of us who are able to work near our family when there are many that are not able to do so.

I'm glad I watched this to find out she's just bored and not stranded.
She's not bored... She misses her parents dearly, I would say to the point of hurting. I have an almost 3-year-old and a 15-month-old toddler and they're both very attached to both me and their dad. It's an emotional need rather than "she's just bored".
She's not bord dude. She's hurt. I wish that you would understand
This makes me emotional 🥺
So adorable and poor sad baby girl😢😢😢😢😢😢
9 hour drive to get to their daughter.
Heartbreaking to hear her looking for them.
This breaks my heart, especially when she called her parent on camera....
Oh my gosh. My heart is breaking. Tears in my eyes. ❤️❤️😥❤️🙏🏼🙏❤️❤️❤️
Oh Bless her heart ❤️....Feel so Heart broken for her Parents 💔 😢
I relate to this child. Back when I was a small boi I always wander around. No friends just walking everywhere minding my own business. Sad but it's ok.

Imagine having no choice but to watch your kid grow up through a security camera. Trust me, they will be working overtime her whole childhood.
Bless her and her family
