Guys, having an E in his type name doesn’t mean he’s loud or social or loves being on camera. It means he leads with an extroverted function. That’s it. Te doesn’t mean being a f**king dictator bawse. It means constantly optimizing and looking for the best way to do everything. Effectiveness is the priority, not necessarily social extroversion.
One of the underestimated effect of extraverted thinking is that it can lead you to be insecure about what other people may think of you. Like, oh, if I do this, people will think like this. If I do that, people will think of me like that. It can actually lead to social anxiety that you can't help, because tribe validation acts like a drug here. People seem to think that having a dominant Te will automatically make our thoughts in line with the tribe, which is mostly not the case. The phrase "I don't give a sht about what other people think" and proceeds to cry about it at home is such an ExTJ trait, not so much IxFP like the memes want you to believe. IxFP wouldn't care about saying such thing and just do weird stuff in public all the time without caring at all, until maybe 6 months later when one of their friends told them that people think they're weird.

The last part around 18 mins sounds very STJ to me? The part where he says stereotypes could fit sometimes/some people but meh to it, and it isn’t an end all be all thing. Not sure if it’s because SJs receiver the worst rep on the internet in the MBTI community that we tend to say things like that, or if it’s an SJ thing to say in general.
I'm an INFP and I'm still learning about MBTI. When I first read about ESTJs I didn't really like them... When people talk about them they seem very bossy and close minded, which is something that I don't like at all (I guess as the majority of INFPs). I also didn't really like xSxx in general... All my friends are NFs or at least some sort of xNxx. My bestfriend is also an INFP and my other two closest friends are ENFP and INFJ. My sister, who I'm really close to, is an ENTP, my dad is an INFJ; so things kinda move around like that. It was until I asked my male bestfriend to take the test. I thought he would be probably a ENFJ(I didn't really thought that, this is what I wanted him to be because I had a crush on him not a long time ago and if he was a ENFJ it would make sense why i liked him so much) cause he seemed like a more extroverted and organized version of my INFP bestfriend or at least some sort of ENTJ, but he was an ESTJ. I guess he is my only sensor friend, but it doesn't bother me as I thought it would. I guess the fact that we are opposites it's what makes our friendship so cool, cause he's really different from anyone I know and I can always learn something new with the way he thinks about stuff. He is just not that good at having hypothetical conversations, but we always find something to talk about. He is also very funny and actually open minded! This is something I wrote after watching this video on February 1st. Since that I've been learning a lot about MBTI and I know that I was very mistaken in thinking like that but I still felt like sharing this to show people that no one is actually that bad and also that it's not because you're a certain type that you need to behave in a certain way. I guess that I thought I didn't like sensors because there's this prejudice that they're not as profound as intuitives and that they can't be very abstract or use they're brains in general but this is SO WRONG! I still have a lot to learn about sensors but at least now I understand that this is bullshit. And I've been also learning about cognitive functions and I know I can't just say that he is an ENFJ just because he is a bit more organized and extroverted LOL Now I just think that he had a lot of Te (ESTJs have Te dom!) and since it is my inferior function he looked very attractive LOL I guess that in the end what made we get along so well was because after all we use the same functions but in different proportions; we weren't total opposites. Anyways, I think a lot but yeah .-.

Ok I agree that in something like mbti, making a generalization is more apropos than attempting to know purely objectively so I apologize, however you structured your question in such a way that seemed as if you wanted to collectively include all extj's, as oppose to just a general population of them, and also if you're attempting to know the general introversion/extroversion spectrum of extj's, since you were asking Calypso, I could be wrong but I assume you live different areas, therefore rendering the statistic you would be to recieve from Calypso useless, however I dont know if you do live in a different area then Calypso so once again, I could be wrong.

You guys are really cute together. :) Do you / does Allan know his Enneagram type?
Thanks :) I don't know! Thought about it before but not sure which one fits. I feel like 8 is probably in there somewhere. Maybe I should ask him to take a test.
He seems to have a combination of 1 and 3 I think. Lots of competency triad stuff there.
03:24 Allan's expression reminds me of the famous scene from The Shining
He look more like istj
JKE Manga nah, I’m a real ISTJ check my channel out!
What's his enneagram
I'm dating an estj too. And the 10000 subscriber status means a lot to an estj. All estj's are hopelessly status driven
I love ESTJ-INFJ
So cute, aaaaaaah!
Omg she's sooooo adorable 😍😍😍ENFP
Omg ESTJ 😱
Can you please explain what does it mean you compare your life with art (maybe with an example)?
Art used broadly to contain entertainment. It's like having a clumsy moment and thinking it's an "anime-like" moment. Basically narrativizing my life in my head.
@@CasualCognition Oh that makes sense, I get it now thanks. I think I do that sometimes too.
Ok why is this is so cute
Beautiful couple ❤️🔥
Congrats on 10k subs I think I'll add myself to that list right now.
PS: The MBTI identified me as an As Sh Ol E what should I do?
I love that :)
interesting ... will u ever upload any videos on voice tone typing??
U guys look super cute together
I'm an estj female my friend is infp female, and that patting head is REALLLYYYY FACT. I'd like to pat her had sooooo badddd, cause she's very cute unlike me :)
You both are so cute together! 😆😆😆
So cute :D
INFP me,ESTJ my Husband 🤣😂
How cute you two found each other and you're in a Duality relationship.
EDIT: 17:00 well maybe if your life was hard as a Fi dom you'd rise to the occasion and become emotionally/mentally stronger. I'm Fi tertiary and I've found my Fi gets stronger the more my mushy inner feelings get hurt by society, which forces me to deal with them.
They are opposites
Your dual!!!
ok... if you're going to let us into the mind of your man... using those jump cuts every 1-3 seconds in his answers and splicing them together makes it seems like he communicates in a completely different then way he actually does... the interpersonal dynamic would be better portrayed if you did the opposite and only showed the cuts of him making determinations and selecting appropriate words while you shift through dozens or hundreds of microexpressions a second while waiting for him to finish a sentence xD
So cute together :)
3:44 It might just apply to other quadrants aside from the delta especially beta. I can us not being on the same page fairly easily. The more we know the better.
She seems like an ENFP for some reason.. I wonder how many people have been mistyped, or mistyped themselves… loads of people, probably.
Nah she's definitely INFP. just sp6 INFPs are more talkative
how is he an estj? he seems like an isfp to me
Like ISTP
lol you think hes a FP. LOL!!!
Hey smile is too cute
Who are usually more SOCIALLY introverted, ESTJ or ENTJ?
Really just depends on the person.
@@mkultraizzy which is why I said "usually".
@@caffemocca8855 you cant really get an accurate statistic on that given you would need all of the extj's on earth, and then count them and see where both type fall on the introverted extroverted spectrum. Not really worth it if you ask me
@@mkultraizzy lol we don't need to collect all individuals data to make a generalization, otherwise, all social science research and surveys are false because they only take sample from population. That's how they knew approximate population of each MBTI types.
Estj and INFP are conflicting relationships. ESTJ and INFJ are duaks
I love estj (infp)
After watching your vlogs you make me feel you could be Enfp. Or mm maybe esfp, but prob more ENFP! You come over inquisitive, cute and bubbly, and very much a feeler. xx
Her Si is too good to be an ENFP.
if he's indeed LSE seems Harmonizing sub :)
wow infp and estj... polar opposites
Seriously, you date a ESTJ?? That's tough no? xD
Diana Days the STJ x NFP convo can be very good especially long term if both are healthy types. I like and appreciate STJ’s as an infp even though there can be some VERY difficult bumps lol
I don’t clash as much with them as STP types though 😆
Yeah I think he's an intj actually.....
Te!
Are you guys still dating?
Apparently your boyfriend's personality type is the ideal type for my ISTP personality ......
he is cute. when I imagine an ESTJ, i can never imagine them as cute and that's why stereotypes are BS
The Myers-Briggs-Test is about as credible as astrology.
That’s why she doesn’t use it
Is it just me who is getting an istp vibe of him?
Haha good thing he didn't talk about his hobbies, otherwise you'd really think ISTP.
Im an ESTJ but people have mistaken me for an ISTP, i also identify more with the ISTP stereotype. i wonder if it has something to do with maturing our shadow functions as we get older.
@@CasualCognition what are his hobbies? mechanics/electronics?
He does like electronics/tech. Like keeping up to date and buying gadgets I've never heard of. Usually fixes his own things. Built his own computer. Likes nature and what I consider intense physical activity (motorcycle, fencing, go kart etc.)
@@CasualCognition I have ISTJ parents. And my dad is all about that fix-em-up ultimate scavenger persona. He might be a bit more closed off and less Ne adjustable though.
Alex needs to come back :/
He looks to me like an INTJ.. or INFJ.. but I’m not sure…
He doesn’t look like ESTJs I know…
He's not estj lol he is an Se-Ni how he says that he brings your ideas into reality
Tl;dr, benefit relations are never fulfilling, especially for the beneficiary
They literally never end well, lmao
I still prefer Simon the INTJ no offense but Alan seems a bit dry and incompatible. I think there was better chemistry with Simon even though he was quite shy.
He seems like an intj more than estj, I know many estjs and they don't have much in common
You look like an INTP.. partner is INxJ..
Nonsense. Te user talk about logic and, guess what, ESTJ thinking.
Ti is no logic. Logic is thinking thing.
first
cool video. by the way he's not an extrovert.
The extroversion and introversion on the Jungian cognitive processes is different from the parlance of general population.
he could prefer si than ne which makes him more introverted
yup could definitely be istj @@helenvarel4426
@@caitsiew9481 he's still not an ESTJ. He's Fe blind
I can see how you'd think he's Fe blind but his Te is definitely stronger than his Si. And although my Ne rambled a lot more than his Te and Si, he's actually more extraverted than me when it comes to life, though he also considers himself introverted socially.
Not going to end well. BTW I am an INFP with an ESTJ husband (18 years on 6-16-19) Eventually you'll feel very beat down, dominated, lonely, and emotionally abused while he continues to rub your nose in every mistake you've ever made, but he doesn't mean it that way and you should just get over it. Oh and make sure you worship him as the god he truly is after every beat down because ESTjs like it that way.
Time is an illusion and so is the chain. They are only as real as you let them be. Staying in a place that kills your very soul is a kind of hell that can only get worse as you stray further from your nature just to survive. It's no way to live. I know first hand that outside advice does nothing.
The cold is not just warmth in disguise, warmth is not cold come to get you by surprise. I wish you the best.
I think this is more than his type. There are mature and immature people, selfish and self absorbed. I have one advice. Pray for your husband. Everyday. It will make all the difference. If you are not a follower of Jesus then give your life to Him he cares for you and loves you..you dont have to give up..Ive seen my parents marriage heal and go from very broken to happy and joyful. God can do all things
Such a stereotypical "INFP" comment to make, lol. Such a victim complex. Being a bad person has absolutely nothing to do with your personality type, you understand that right? For example some of the most selfish, mean spirited people I've ever met were ENFP and INFP types, but that doesnt mean all XNFP are bad people, it just means those specific people acted badly. That being said, you'd better get out of that relationship because it sounds very unhealthy
@@FlawlesZMa so basically Jesus is saying to stick with ur abusive husband just because...? lol. Jesus should be letting people know that they have the freedom to leave if they're getting abused because no one deserves that and no one should suffer in that environment just because lmao. whatever it's not like the guy exists anyway :P
I know ESTJ girl and she is such a bitch
Allan does not seem ESTJ at all. Not in talking, not in body posture, nada. Defo seems like an introvert as well. Extroverts are hopeless at listening and this guy actually listens to the question and responds.
What a shallow view of the world you have. Very sad. Yes, 50% of the planet (extroverts) are hopelessly bad listeners. That's like saying the other 50% of the world (introverts) are all insanely shy and never leave their house. That makes no sense and you clearly dont know anything about how MBTI actually works.
He's an INTJ
Great I'll just convince him to co-host and keep my channel name! /s
if only from this video, I don't see him as ESTJ as well, especially male. Why do you think he's INTJ btw?
@@CasualCognition I sense some passive agressiveness, but I think I'd still prefer you
