"Come here to escape the city" *police sirens blaring extremely loudly in the background*
😆 🤣
We just visited there this past weekend, what an amazing experience! Thank you House Of Sound for the full tour!
The concept of outdoor audio systems really baffles me. The only benefit seems to be having something that is almost guaranteed to annoy your neighbors.
Oh! I see why you are confused about this! Not everyone has neighbors who are so close to their home and backyard as yours apparently are.
And the other reason, I almost forgot! Some people like music, whether they’re inside of a room or outside of a room.
I hope that helps, you’re welcome!
It really depends on your particular scenario. For example, my neighbors are about 17 feet from my house, my parents neighbors are around 1,470ish feet. They can obviously get away with much more output outside than I can, and do. Also, music is meant to be enjoyed it life and life doesn't just happen indoors.
@@mattjones7547 I totally agree with you. At one time, my maternal grandparents owned a 320-acre farm. An outdoor stereo system on that farm wouldn’t have bothered anyone. Today, I see so many lots in the 4,000-7,000 sq. ft. range, and I’m sure that some of the owners would opt for an outdoor stereo or home theater system. As for outdoor listening in general, I use Sennheiser Momentum 3 earphones.
Invite your neighbors over for a BBQ. They will love it.
Incredible, what an experience they have created.
For some reason i don’t think I’d be blown away by the sound. I’ve heard enough McIntosh to know there are better gears out there irrespective of the costs
My wife and I will be in New York early next year to visit our daughter, along with another daughter and her Italian boyfriend. This would make a great place to visit and listen to exceptional music. I was into high-end audio and video many years ago. I did get an opportunity to visit the Pioneer Elite condo in Los Angeles and other cool places. The House of Sound looks like it would be the pinnacle for experiencing music in a home environment, and I can't wait to visit.
I wonder, who's the MUSIC guy and who's the BUSINESS guy ? Sup Will ?? Good to see u man !!
Amazing!
i really appreciate the concept of this dealership.
it's clever
IKEA style
Brilliant presentation
On my short list to visit =)
I think McIntosh should try and figure out how to add a few more more meters to their products. There must be one or two items that don't have them in their line?
Nice theater room! Would really like to hear the Arena 30 and s15 subs.
nice stuff, but I would need to win a lottery. I do love them blue VU meters though.
one day
Any reason why the new ML1 Loudspeaker isn’t displayed there?
Feels like I've just watched a Sonus Faber/Mcintosh infomercial
That's a great testament to Theo's communication, production and editing skills of the tour he was invited to. Thanks.
If I create a listening room like this in your city how much would you pay to rent it for an hour with music of your choice?
"Our speakers are designed to reflect off drywall, maybe not glass"
Not sure about this one
I have a 3:30 appointment today....
Please tell them you saw out video. Thanks
Dude looks like Ringo
The OLED is placed too high, but it's a common mistake.
Your there to listen to music not to watch TV
highlife
I can't help but think that the objective performance of these systems must be lacking if they feel the need to dress them up so much. Maybe one day I'll visit and find out.
I think they de-emphasize the importance of good room acoustics a bit too much, IMO.
The purpose of this particular experience is the intersection of audio, design, and lifestyle. Put another way, the House of Sound provides a venue that shows how to incorporate high end audio into a home and social environment to disabuse the notion that you need a dedicated room with a single seat and ugly treatments to enjoy great sound. We’ve seen plenty of those examples online 😁
But ... extremely expensive. You have to pay 1000% more to just experience 10% better sound quality than main stream audio gear. Why?
Because all those managers, who are only trained to convince and manipulate viewers to buy their products, earn huge salaries but actually, they are not adding any true value.
Sorry--dont trust guys with great hair
Me neither 😆
It's GREAT hair though :)
The legacy of great hair shall continue.
This is an infomercial it doesn't explain anything. Just goes on and on and on about nothing
What would you like explained? It's an upscale demo place for McIntosh Groups in NYC. The self-explanatory title clues you in.
McIn-meh
This is incredibly boring
You can always watch tiktok videos instead.

i have no experience with McIntosh, what do they sound like
