Hi! Current B&H employee here. If you get a chance, come back to the store to check out all the changes. Many of the departments have been updated, fixed, moved around, etc...
Tony & Joe thank you so much for that video. It wasn't just entertaining, but so Informative. I've driven past the B&H store dozens of times, and even though I've ordered from them online, I've never gone in. Next time I'm up that way, think it will be a definite on the tour card....Thanks again, you two are amazing in your own right, but even more magnanimous together ❤
Appreciate the view Brian. Yes, it was a fun video to make. I get the whole “inner kids” thing. I felt like a kid in a candy store lol. It was a great day!
Yes, the om4 is amazing. It was a great day and great 3 days. We did the store tour, The stream, and a youtube studio makeover. It doesn’t get any better!
I have a question for you, Tony and Willie if he sees this post. Since you guys have experience with Synology devices I'm hoping for advice on what unit balances as much horsepower as possible without the need for data retention, backups, snapshots or storage of data. Basically use the synology suite of applications for collaboration. I have researched and found any Synology Nas with real horsepower has to many drive bays. Where is the happy medium between to many drive bays and one that has the cpu power to run the applications effectively? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and Cheers!
Hey Brian, great question. I’m not sure if the use case is for home or small biz, but IMO the sweet spot would be the DS920+. The model is a few years old but has proven to be solid and one of the most versatile and reliable NAS models at the price point produced by Synology. It’s not too big, not too small and is powered by the Intel Celeron J4125 Quad Core processor. Should have no issues whatsoever running the suite of applications. Let me know what you eventually decided upon. Have a great day!
Hey Avi! Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the tour of B&H. As I’ve said in previous comments, it was a great experience to have the chance to hang with Joe and see the two retail giants.
Hey Allen! Glad you enjoyed tour of B&H. It was my first time there. Lived in New Jersey my entire life and never visited the store. Moved to North Carolina, came up to visit Joe and made the store stop along the way.
Thanks for watching. It was a great time. The items are mostly new. There is a used department that sells used camera gear. In fact, I bought a used Tokina 11 - 20 2.8 lens. Have a great day.
Tony & Joe, welcome to a stone-throw from my stomping ground. I bought a lot of equipment from B&H over the many years I have lived in New York, and as far as Micro Center. It cannot be measured at least when my wife is around 😉
Hey David, I was thinking of you and your Micro Center videos as I was capturing the footage in the stores. It was a great experience. Hope to do it again someday. Thanks for watching.

@@QuikTechSolutions I always have a great time when I do something like that. As a matter of fact, I have a relatively free day today, so I guess I'm heading over to MC.
Not sure what you're trying to fuzz out at 5:56, possibly the two people walking through yet their faces are reflected beautifully in the shiny wall of the escalator. And the rectangle blue persists beyond this part.
@@QuikTechSolutions Ahem, *Merry Christmas* and may you benefit from the greatest and most epic rescue mission of all time which finally started with the birth of a savior. All the best my friends!
Unless it's changed, and I'll stand corrected, the package does NOT go to a register and they do NOT tell you which register to go to. The package comes up from the basement on a conveyor to the salesperson helping you at the counter. If you decide to buy it, they place it back on the conveyor belt and give you an order form. You take that to the checkout line and go to whichever register is open. You pay, are given a paid invoice, and then go on a pickup line where the merchandise winds up from the salesperson to whom you said "I'll take it."
Hi! Current B&H employee here. We stopped using that system years ago. What the guys said in the video is correct. If you want to make a purchase, they order is placed in our system, which is sent downstairs. The items then go from the basement up the conveyer belt and to the front counter where the cashiers are located.
Hi, thanks for watching. To be 100% honest with you, I don’t remember. My visit there was over a year ago and so many things can change for example, the way they display their items throughout the store. Also, I was there looking for the tech gear, so I wasn’t really paying any mind to the instruments. Sorry, I don’t have a better answer, but at least it’s an honest answer. Have a great day!
Thanks for watching and commenting. I will say I totally understand your apprehension. I had a similar experience, however B&H did stand behind the sale and did the right thing. I ordered an Atem 2M/E video switcher at the beginning of 2024. The unit I received was pre-owned, not new as I had expected. Dealing with the customer service rep to process the return was super simple. They were very accommodating & apologetic. Receiving a damaged item is more a result of poor handling by the shipping company, not B&H. Items get damaged during shipping regardless where they are purchased. Have a great day!
I experienced this about 2 months when ordering something from them online. Fortunately, customer support took care of the error and shipped a new device.
I ordered and paid full price for a new Sony A7RV from B&H and was shipped an used open box camera with a broken screen and missing items. I now have to pay to have it shipped back. Not a trusted retailer especially after spending $4K to get sent a used open box item and have to miss an event and come out of pocket to cover cost to get a return for their poor service. Shop somewhere else.
Hi David! Wow! That is super unfortunate and I’m sorry that happened to you. I can’t imagine that is the norm for B&H. If it was, they probably wouldn’t have lasted in business as long as they have. Again, sorry you had a bad experience. Let’s hope it was an isolated incident. Have a great day!
the microcenter of the camera world. The Colorado Microcent is a joke the manager and most of his crew should be fired. The store looks like and horders home and the sale persons have no clue upsale way to much.

Thanks for watching. Would love to visit NYC again and see the changes you speak of.

Thanks James. Appreciate you taking the time to view and comment. Have a great day.
Fun video Tony. Both B&H and Microcenter evoke my inner kid when walking the isles. Love Joe's big wheel pick up!!

Thanks for making the video! We visited the store a few years ago and didn't take enough pictures!
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
Tony as always, great video!
Thank you for let me "travel" so far from my home and visit B&H store. It's awesome!
Have a great day my friend!
Hey Freddy! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
What a great time we had! Great video. It came out better than I thought. That little gimbal worked great.

Great video Joe. Love your big tired truck by the way! This was an exciting outing you two had. Cheers buddy.

So cool! I could spend a week in these stores!!! not leaving the store for a minute!
Hey Avi! Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the tour of B&H. As I’ve said in previous comments, it was a great experience to have the chance to hang with Joe and see the two retail giants.
I would LOVE to know what day of the week you guys were in that store. I’ve NEVER seen it that empty!!😊❤
Hi Kevin, thanks for watching! We were at B&H this past Monday.
I love that store !!! It is an experience

Great vid!
Thanks Willie!
What an amazing store & thanks for the great video! Question, are items sold in the store, new or used/refurbished??
Thanks for watching. It was a great time. The items are mostly new. There is a used department that sells used camera gear. In fact, I bought a used Tokina 11 - 20 2.8 lens. Have a great day.
First place I went to when I was in NYC a few years ago. 😊❤
Thanks for watching Bob. It was a great experience!

Thanks for watching!
I will have to go whenever I make it back to NYC
Thanks for watching Jay. Hope you enjoyed the tour! Definitely something to put on your bucket list.
Looks like a fun day buddy.
Yes, Dennis it was definitely a blast!
What flloor is the music instrument section?

We have an audio section on the first floor. There are only keyboards on display. If you want to demo any other instruments, then you're out of luck.
Thanks for sharing! Wacom!
Thanks for watching Keith. I was like a kid in a candy store. You would’ve loved it. If you ever make a trip to the east coast, B&H is a must see!
Tony, where'd you get that black shirt (or is it a jacket)? Seriously...
James, are you talking about the Harley Davidson jacket picked it up at a local Harley dealer I don’t remember which one.
it is so fun in there!
Thanks for watching. It absolutely is! Can’t wait to go back.
I am afraid that if I order an item from B&H Photo Video Pro Audio, it will arrived damaged from the carrier. It is becoming way too often with B&H.

I will visit there in a couple of weeks from Souther California . Get a deal on my Sony and NANO Zeiss lens
Enjoy your visit. Thanks for watching.
They sell used as new. My brand new a7iv came with a smudge on the sensor
I experienced this about 2 months when ordering something from them online. Fortunately, customer support took care of the error and shipped a new device.
I love B&H i always go there to get my new camera things
