Here I show a few variations of a half guard wrestle up starting from an underhook half guard. Wrestling up is one of the most effective ways to work from guard position in nogi grappling - it played a key role in my success at the ADCC East Coast Trials which I was able to win with one of the moves I show in this video. //

What are some other sweeps or guards that you like - that combo with this?
Can you make a video when someone do a back step from there? Im having problem if someone do the back step and they end up in the shadow position.

@@greengreensioif you anticipate them coming backstepping, you can come up on top as they backstep. Look up wedding sweep as a similar movement. With your non underhooked arm, go behind their trapped leg and establish top position.
