The problem is there will be nothing happening to the rest of the game helping the drop quantities when the nerf to the valby farm happens. People wouldn’t resort to this farm if the rates and currency drops were where they should be. I doubt people are mad about the farm nerf itself as much as the real reason people feel the need to do it.
Totally agree with both Helldivers and the first descendant points of view .I tend to be one of the first to move on if the content is not fun .The current flip from making farming Somewhat bearable to back to unbearable is not a good sign.The fact that players feel they have to do the farm is bad. Why cant the bosses and the infiltrations reward better ???

I have all descendants and didn’t pay for none only for battle pass I grinded your mistake is that u don’t know how to grind so u make it hard on your self to comprehend how it’s actually is done and the process of it not hard trust me I had your problem at first then I got good and and understood how’s it’s done

There's a big problem with the game, hard mode dungeons and bosses are almost impossible with average gear making all the loot you find just pointless unless you energy activate /catalyst. This is a killer for f2p as its not very easy to get those items unless you can complete that content or use a meta build from the freebies you get. More weekly and monthly rewards are needed imo to ensure people can grind and still be rewarded for their time
How to make end game better?
Daily, weekly, monthly log in rewards, more varied loot /prefixes, better ways to target farm drops and better items to increase drop chances. Randomly generated content in dungeons.

As someone that has completed the core content in the game as well, I've had the exact same feeling of not quite wanting to log in this week. The majority of players aren't at the stage of the game we're at yet and I fear once they're left with nothing to do but farm descendant parts like us, the player count will drop drastically once again like you mentioned. Personally I don't think a couple new descendants, one colossus, and one new dungeon every couple of months is enough to maintain player retention.
There are way too many people having issues with First Descendant crashing. The game is far too demanding on CPU usage. Lots of people at 80-100% cpu usage while playing. The game also has issues dealing with 500-1000 mouse polling rates, which is wild that developers can be so incompetent as to have this problem in 2024.

Honestly bro. I understand your standpoint. Grant it, the end game grind is annoying. But the game is still awesome. In comparison to other looter shooters like Division (which I used to play religiously) the grind is nothing for me. The weapons are great so far, the descendants are awesome. The micro transactions are dumb but it’s a F2P game. The game is what you make it. Maybe what you should do if you don’t already is take a break from the game from time to time. That’s what I do. And that keeps the game fresh for me. The way the devs actively communicate with the players and actually implement many things we want is something practically unheard of for me. Most devs will just throw shit at the wall and see if it sticks. The Valby run? Should be nerfed because it tanks the servers.
BUT what the devs NEED to do is honestly make every single mission give us loot. Every enemy in any mission should drop loot. Many times when I’m farming for void fragments, none of the enemies drop loot. That shouldn’t be the case. When I played Division, any enemy could drop loot. Didn’t matter what I did.
What we need is more gold drops. More kuiper drops.
We need new abilities for our descendants. Kinda like how outriders works. With more options to choose from.
We NEED more new weapons. Atleast 1 for every category each season. Atleast 1 purple per category and maybe 2-5 ultimate weapons and transcendent weapons.
We need a system implemented where if you’ve been farming for the same item for way too long (45 mins to an hour max) you’re guaranteed to get the drop you need. Kinda like bad luck protection or something.
We also need more cosmetics for all the weapons and descendants through the season pass.
Also getting energy activators should be slightly easier to get. If they plan on giving us more descendants, we shouldn’t have to allocate an entire day to farming for 1 enhancement material just to them wait a day and a half to use it. Either make it easier to get OR cut the time it takes to craft it.
Those are just my points though.

❤thanks for your honest opinion. It is very refreshing. I hope they will listen to us players. I think they could make the grind better by making more different ways to grind for the same thing. For example instead of getting it from one dungeon, maybe it can drop from other missions too. Just bring more variety into something that is already very limited on variety.

Thank you for the good content. In my opinion to make the farming better it should be tied to completing missions and dungeons and rewarding the resources at the end and maybe in larger quantities then cheesing missions to not complete them therefor causing everyone to circle farm.

I like it I just understand what it is. It’s a bare bones game nothing new or fleshed out just bare bones. There isn’t anything wrong with that it’s just bland but it’s easy to turn your brain off and play and i enjoy that
I 100% agree with all you've said. I put a 100 hours into end game, and it's just too damn grindy. I still haven't beat most of the hard mode bosses. It just takes too long to get your one descendant on par enough to do real damage. Kills the fun.

There is a difference between progression and GRIND. TFD is the latter. If they want people to invest that amount of time into their game, weather that be farming Materials for Descendants/Weapons , Gold, and Kuiper. They need to make sure that the activities we’re doing are at the very least FUN. As soon as it feels like a chore or job, people are going to drop the game.
8hrs grinding for electric condense and didn’t even get it !! 😂I do enjoy the game and the grind but honestly I’m getting a little burnt!!also this is just me but I wanna have my decentdent look unique by customizing it without having to pay for every single customizable item !!! I don’t mind paying for some things cause at the end of the day it’s a free game and I don’t mind supporting them by spending a little cash !!!

I need a better way more guaranteed way to get upgrade materials. (Energy activators & Crystal Catalysts). A 3% drop chance. Get f’ed. IF they don’t fix that then Nexon loses me & my wallet.
For endgame we need something now tbh. Leaderboards seem great. Mission speed runs solo, duo, and full squad would be nice with increased difficulty. Also they could implement a rotation of descendants that can be played for that leaderboard for the week or month so I make people explore different play styles for team compositions. Affixes and much more. Not to reference warframe but, if u have ever heard of the index we need one of those and last I would like to see some type of missions that test your builds to the brink. The mission modifiers are not hard at all, even with all mobility gone and a damage decrease it’s just too easy. I love this game but I can’t help to see that it’s may fail soon. I was going to start making content on the game but soon realized that there is not much for the endgame to show. To stay entertained, me and my buddies invite people to discord and Xbox parties and challenge them to a dps off against bosses and make a game inside of the game.
I could see why your channel is growing. You got a lot of great points there. They need to fix the endgame loop grind. it's really boring. Specially those Outpost farmings. ughhhh
I probably had to do like over 200 outpost runs just to get a single piece of Lepic.

The grind is a pain in the arse, but I have had some good luck with the drop rates, on occasion. I am also at the stage of getting a little bored with doing laps for loot. They should work something out with the components' drop rates. IE 20% drop rate should drop once in five consecutive rounds of the same mission. Not once in 35 rounds as it is with some components. That blows. But, in the devs' defense, I DO understand that they are out to make themselves truckloads of money with this game.

Its what you make of end game, if you prefer to run the same stuff over n over just for a currency of course you'll burn out, n if your not using drop rate gear for farming your making a 30 min resource run into 3 hours+ without but to each their own

Let's take a look at an example of how bad end game is:
Farming a pattern with 25% drop chance at an outpost
To open pattern, now you must farm a variety of around 50 void shards
Then you might have a 6% chance of opening the pattern and getting what you want.
Absolutely terrible and unrewarding. Casual players won't last.

Honestly, I don't think this game is going to be like helldivers 2. Yes the grind is tedious, but its a game build to capture people who loves to play grinding games. Helldivers 2 on the other hand felt boring after a lot of runs, didn't had much progression in it. While this game has progressions to gear up for raids, etc and RNG based. I would understand a lot of people's frustrations regarding the game, but that's the genre of the game, either u hate it or love it. Koreans love their grinding games, I personally am fond of grindy games as it gives me a reason to play the game continuously compared to other genre of games. Like I said either love it or hate it, just my personal opinion. Good game for me to kill time, I can take things slow too since i'm always busy on my weekdays.
Also keep in mind that grindy games will have their burnout sessions, you can't keep grinding over and over. Take a break, play something else it will really help you to appreciate the game more instead of focusing on getting super OP or getting a specific descendant. The game ain't going nowhere, take your time and have fun. Don't take it as a chore to grind instead, its a game its for entertainment.

well farming locations is a thing in online games since forever, if anyone here ever played any MMORPG specially the old school korean ones you know that this was always like that and even if a looter shooter the game still have its roots on the MMO genre and should have these spots so players can actually farm for what they want with a decent drop rate. However there was other things that i think need rebalancing such as the defense missions runtime that are ungodly long and rewards where you can spend anywhere from 30min to over 1hr without any guarantee that you will get the reward you want (most of times you get gold and not even an amount that makes your time worth) or the item that improves drop rates from materials that again is more like an april fool's joke because it doesn't helps at all. Since most of the content of this game was copied from other games like warframe and destiny they should at least made it right.
tbh i really like the game and been enjoying the game so far and i hope that they dont do anything stupid to kill the game

not just farming bp descedants and weapons but the resources too feels too difficult or suck : ( even dont have guild/clan system feels difficult and frustations searching party in the end just using normal descedants

❤In my own opinion from playing these types of games for years we’re technically in the beta phase. This is the base of the game Ik you haven’t played warframe yet I’ve played it since it came out it had a pretty similar start, that’s why I think comparing this to warframe and d2 is kinda unfair they both where barebones also on release and most people didn’t really gravitate to them. To get to the point of content of those two games it will indeed take tdf years, but it depends on content release these game depend on a fluctuation of casual leaving and giving them a reason to comeback. You should try warframe though it’s got years of content getting into is complex though

@@Simonb1471 I can understand that cause with this game in particular there’s more competition than when warframe and destiny where established so that is a factor, But I do think this game has a good foundation that has its problems, I also do believe once they add trading if done the right way and new content it has the potential to be a great game this is just my take I could be wrong, But from my experience with the grinding games as a genre let’s be honest it’s a niche genre the game will settle around 40,000 concurrent players and spike to around 60,000-70,000 on major updates. This is just if they don’t take the game in the wrong direction.
This part is just cause I comment on most of your videos and you may know I’m avid anti bunny but the game has given me all her ult parts without directly farming her. Ik this would be a w for most but why must the game punish me this way my first ult has to be the character I hate the most😂😭.

I agree and disagree at the same time. The only content end game thats literally running circles is just the most effecient method, which in every looter shooter and mmo is the same way. The most effecient is never the most fun. They do need to fix drop rates for sure. And we need more content. But overall the grinding method isnt too bad on its own. Try warframe before judging this game and remember that game is one of the most successful looter shooters on the market.

bruh, what are you talking about? they have a road map. they have a content drop on the first of august and the first season drops at the end of august. the game is in preseason...
and what are you complaining about in regards to farming? this is a looter shooter. the entire point of looter games is to repetitively grind for rewards in order to grind harder content. the harder content hasn't arrived yet, but it will in the future...
what do you expect them to do? drop a bunch of unfinished systems and content a few weeks after launch, when they have already laid out what's coming and when its coming? y'all like to forget how empty both warframe and destiny 1 and 2 were at launch. even the division 1 and 2 was empty at launch. they do this so people can establish their play style and characters they want to invest in. then the content drops once the player base has done that. the first month or two is for people to climatize themselves with the game systems. after that, these games put rubber to pavement...

Raids should have already been in the game by now. The fact that they didn’t think to have anything like that ready at launch or shortly after is astonishing.

also the grind for some of the ultimate are difficult by urself being introvert myself it difficult to ask for help i also ran across some really toxic ppl and abandoning the mission
The more I play the more I notice the poor gameplay design that went into the game, most if not all aspects of the game seem very simple and boring or annoyingly bad. The module system is straight up just a worse version of Warframe modding, because at least in Warframe anything could be modded with max mods with very little need for using forma to polarize a slot, because not every mod took up to 16 points at max, in TFD you need all 10 slots to have a socket just to max out every mod on anything and leaves no room for flexibility and creativity in module builds. Every point in farming for Void reactor missions feels like it was intentionally designed to waste and disrespect the players time and efforts. Many of the Mini bosses just become bullet sponges with broken kits that have practically no weaknesses to exploit. Items that clog my limited inventory with no way to remove or trade them out for resources so I have to keep leveling MR just to collect more parts of things I do need. leveling weapon proficiency is so boringly slow that I have legitimately nearly fallen asleep at my desk. Don't get me wrong I like this game and I want it to succeed, but coming from Warframe I only see a down grade with no real reason to stick around except to slam my head into the wall of Outpost farming. Let's just hope they can actually keep going from this relatively rocky start and make the game more enjoyable and gives us that feeling of excitement to jump back in.

I really wanted to like this game but all it did was make me realize that warframe is way better and the TFD sent me right back to the void.
The game is fine being a month old. It was said from day 1 the game was a grind. Stop farming and run missions play the game
Playing this just made me reinstall warframe and try getting into that. There's so much content in Warframe that it overwhelmed me more than a couple of times. I'll be waiting to go back to TFD in a few months to finish it and see where it's at. But it doesn't feel worth playing in its current state.
