Jen, I love your videos on E.L.F. ! I have recently purchased several products, that I never would have tried, from watching you. I am amazed at how great these products work and how affordable. I have always been a lover of high end makeup, but definitely am now loving some more affordable makeup items! Thanks so much!
Hi Sherry! Aw that's so great to hear! I think drugstore makeup used to get a bad rep because it wasn't always the best quality but these days, it can sometimes be hard to tell the difference between high-end and drugstore! It's really come such a long way. :)
All of your choices are spot on! When you mentioned that the Black Cherry Sheer lipstick was similar to Clinique's Black Honey it brought back such memories...Black Honey has been around for a VERY long time and I used to wear it as a teenager...I actually just received my ELF black cherry a couple of days ago and I'm loving it. Hello beautiful! Thank you for this video. Elf is one of my favorite Drugstore brand. I just got the Opposite Attract palette this weekend and I'm enjoying playing with it so far. Thanks for your recommendations 👍🏼🤗.
I enjoy watching and reading your reviews on products. Even you’re a smaller channel you definitely deserve millions! Great job on being able to give us reviews on many prestige items and drugstore. Much love, keep up the wonderful work!
I had to stop the video and order the blush in always rosey and sheer lip tint in golden pair. Thank you for your recommendation. Great video as always 😘
Always giving me ideas Jen😉. I have the always rosy blush and I absolutely love it. I also own the bite sized pumpkin pie shadows. Love and gonna use it a lot very soon. Have to check out the duo blush and highlighter. And the ride or die lip balms. Thanks. Always full of great info.
Great Video. I do love elf products. I am all about Fall. It’s my favorite season. I always feel more inspired in the fall with my eye looks. I love your eye look!!
I use my body oil right in the shower before patting myself dry with my towel, and then it adds the moisture I need before I put my lotion on a little later (cuz my body skin is so dry it definitely needs both), plus I have to dry brush and use a loofah to exfoliate... it’s definitely a process!) I love Elf and I’d like to try some of their skin care since I’ve only been using their makeup.
The lipstick looks really beautiful on you. That shade is so autumnal! I pulled out my Sydney Grace Autumn's Reign palette recently...oh my goodness, it is *stunning* for fall! Bring on the pumpkin spice and chunky sweaters! 😁🍁🍂
Hi Jen! All of these products are wonderful! My favorite collection is the matte skin care. I have oily skin so I love it! It really keeps my skin oil at bay! Thanks for sharing your fall favs with us! 💕
I just bought the elf pumpkin pie palette a few days ago! I’ve worn it once in the 3 days I’ve had it, and absolutely love it. I wanted the coppery shimmer for Fall, and it gives me exactly what I hoped! I also got my first elf hydrating cameo concealer, and like Jen, was hesitant because of how drying the regular formula was on me. This one is not at all drying, and I’m so happy with it! Thanks for the reviews, Jen! Really appreciate them!
You are one hardworking lady! Love elf products for a long time now! I just ordered pumpkin pie & cream & sugar duo eyes - so excited to try! I also didn’t know about the tubing mascara. As far as elf concealers go, even the hydrating one is awful on me. ☹️ I started using Catrice under-eye primer which helps but I think I need a different concealer. Warm rich colours are a magnet for me for fall - also I am curious about the Always Rosy blush and Golden Pear lipslick - uh oh - I sense another elf order on the horizon! Btw Jen - your skin looks airbrushed these days and you have such a calm, at peace look about you. Love you & your content - so genuine. Thank you.
I love elf products 😍😍😍, great video Jen, I have an order from elf coming soon, and I can't wait to receive it, I have got to get some of those lipsticks 💞💞💞.
@Introverted Artistt , I just went to elf's website. It said free shipping on any order today. Might take 7 /10 day's to get it. But free shipping is great 🙂.
Loved the video! I find that elf has gone long way lately with their products. From Foundation and concealer to blushes and lip balms. My fav products from elf are their foundation that dupes NARS foundation.. it stays all day on me and I have a combination skin. I also love their original putty primer, their primer infused blush, their bite size palettes and their blush and highlighter duos. Never tried their mascaras though. Ultimate fav for me is their brow pencils.. either the slim or the original $2 one 😍
I am also in the fall mood and have been using my Pumpkin Spice palette. Those Elf Sheer Slick lipsticks look really good, I have to try them, especially now that I need more moisturizing lip products. The Spiced Apple blush is so pretty too, looks like I am doing some Elf shopping now.
Yes, they have such pretty colors and they feel so moisturizing on the lips too. Some balms are just so-so when it comes to hydration but these are very cushiony and make your lips feel very soft!
I love it when you review ELF because I can actually buy their products here in the UK and their website is awesome, they ship really quickly. I hadn't really considered that Opposites Attact palette but as someone who is aging and seeing the dreaded crinkles showing up on the eyelids and under the brow then I'm thinking I should check that out! Tbh I don't really change my makeup seasonally, but then I'm quite boring in my palette choices and the colours I wear - the older I get the less adventurous I am it seems:(
I am not in a fall mood yet not with temperatures in the high 80s and having to keep an eye out on the storms. I am more into tropical theme pallettes. I have been a fan of ELF ever since Emilynoelle introduced me to the line back in 2008, I love the bite eyeshadow palettes. The Pumpkin Pie is a favorite. Earth and Sea is great. I have several of the older blush and bronzer duals that I like. I used up their HD powder it was great on my dry skin. I love their brushes I am still using some of cheap 2.00 ones that I bought years ago. They have been washed hundreds of times and they still look good. Their skin care is wonderful their hydration cream in the blue jar comes in two formulas one has no fragrance. The CBD moisturizer for the face is nice it doesn't work as a night cream for me but it is a great day cream.
I use a lash primer with any mascara, but Thrive is my jam. It improves the wear(no smudge, no flake) and performance. L’Oréal has a tubing mascara with a primer called Double Extend. They also make Lash Paradise Lash Primer. Milani makes a lash primer. Try it, I think you’ll like the results.
I picked up a Travel Sized Skincare set from Elf. So far, so good. The Elf Mascara sounds promising. I would be thrilled and surprised if it was available in Brown. My favorite eyeshadows are purple and green and wear them all year. I am a Redhead. Colors people typically reach for in the Fall, I use all the time.
I love Elf’s skincare!! Colourpop has a really awesome mascara in brown. It’s called the BFF mascara in Brownie Points and it doesn’t flake like their black mascara.
Oh no Jen, those e.l.f mascaras were my hidden gems 'always in stock'. Now you let the cat out of the bag per se' hahaha. Now that you have perfected eyeliner and even a wing. I would love to see you wearing high-lighter. Try it and don't tell us, let's see how it goes.
Jen, you would probably love the fragrance of the Osea cleanser. It is sooo good. It reminds me of an old fragrance from Bath and Body Works, which I believe was called Limelight. It's fairly unique, but a very fresh plant like smell, not floral. Sooo good.
So watching your channel have proven to be dangerous. I always ended up placing an order (to hoard more makeup I do not need) right after or during no matter how much mental self- restraint I try to enforce prior to hitting play! 😅💸
Thanks Jen! I just placed an order for the blush duos (spiced apple and lychee) and the ride or die balms in tough cookie and mint! It’s free shipping on all orders!!!
A really great topic and brand. 👍 thanks Jen I’ve been enjoying their Holy Hydration cream. Not enough for night - CeraVe PM for me but daytime under spf & makeup. It’s lovely.
The Opposites Attract is a favorite in my collection! I just got the Pumpkin Pie bite size shadow, and can't wait to play with it; it's so pretty. A couple of the CBD products are in my cart waiting for my next shopping spree, haha.
I use the mint balm overnight. I was using the old formula bite agave balm, I haven’t tried the new one, but this elf is just as good and soooo much cheaper!
It's so weird hearing creators say that berry tones are fall colors like i grew up in WA where berries grow in summer lol i guess it's just experiences 🤣🤣🤣💋💋💋🤗🤗🤗 love u Jem
Hi, Jen! Are you going to get the huda beauty haze obsessions palettes? I hope you could do a comparison between the khaki haze and juvia's Nomad palette. This one's a good video for affordable options
Elf's CBD lip gloss is SO good! It has a light vanilla/mint scent which may sound a little weird, but it's really nice, and helps with my CBD routine before bed. It makes me sleepy so I can only wear it then. I'll have to try their body lotion! I've been loving the bite size eyeshadow palettes too, and I just bought Truffles and Carnival Candy. I have Pumpkin Pie and Hot Jalapeno, and both are Beautiful and easy to work with. I was actually going to buy an all muted green palette from an indie brand but it was $35.00, so I thought I would try the Elf one first, and I'm so happy with it, I'm not buying the indie one, and for $3.00, SO worth it! 😄 You definitely tempted me with the opposites attract palette though. Trying not to buy more makeup but I've been eyeing that one for awhile, and didn't know if it was a good formula, but since you recommended it, Maybe as a birthday gift to myself next month.😄😂 Thank you for another great review!
Oh yikes! Usually I'm jealous of you guys when it's snowing here and you have nice weather! But this is my favorite time of year here in CT...cool and crisp in the morning/evening and warm during the day.
Jen Phelps that seems really nice! I was watching the news yesterday and the weather guy said that we’re gonna start getting cool weather until October, and we’re talking about 70s and 80s. So I guess I’ll keep enjoying my summer here in the Golf coast! BTW I wanted to tell you that I enjoy watching your videos so much! Specially the ones on Sunday mornings with a cup of coffe❤️☕️
Hey Jen, how does the ELF hydrating camo concealer compare to the Joah Truly Yours? I know you like that one too and I've avoided the ELF because I've not heard it reviewed by anyone who also likes the Joah.
I too love elf. I’ll be trying your suggestions. Your eyeshadow is looking so fabulous what ever you’re doing it looks great on you please stay safe & healthy. You asked on a past video suggestions or questions for anyone else homeschooling their kids thoughts and ideas. I want to respond but then thought I don’t want to jump on your channel and people come after you for my thoughts and opinions. I’m now 61 I raise six kids five of my kids a homeschooled and fiber born in 7 1/2 years they’re all married and have children now. Just a quick note don’t doubt yourself, Believe in the life lessons you’re teaching on a day today basis. Living real life such as cooking cleaning chores taking care of pets are all great ways to teach responsibility. Booked time computer time bringing kids to tears by having them sit at a computer for several hours I find to be heartbreaking. Hope your son loves bugs are cars get every book on bugs and carsThe library still is free. I promise he’ll love to read to learn to read more and on his own. Anyways I’ll go thank you for your videos
Hi Michelle! We did decide to do the homeschool program at his school. He goes to a private school and their online program is only 2 half-hour sessions on the computer per day for his grade (1st grade) which is totally doable for him. I know parents in the public schools who are on the computer with them all day and it's too much for them, in my opinion. The school sends home other work but we do it at our own pace and we have the whole week to get it done, so it's been working out great. It's much better than having him go and sit in a mask all day. ❤️
So funny - I had terrible luck with the elf Opposites Attract palette. The pigment just blended away for me! PS - your eye looks much more lifted and symmetrical! Think the guasha is paying off. Video please!
Hi Jen I just noticed something w/this elf Palette.., I could be wrong bet can u just do a comparison bet the SIGMA ENCHANTED AND THE DE CORA ROSE PALETTES.. I FEEL LIKE THEY MAKE THIS PALETTE (ELF).? I love the ELF.. TRUFFLE PALETTE Another look.. could these Elf blush and highlighter be a dope for the cover effects blush and highliger?
Late post but, oh well :) Also sorry, it's long. I love elf, I was shocked when I first found them years ago, the price & quality and I only use cruelty free which they are as well. My eyes are sensitive & their mascaras don't give me a headache. They not only keep it up but get better. Sure some products are so so, but it doesn't feel bad when a $4 product isn't great. Even though my budget is bigger these days I don't enjoy the luxury price tag on high end makeup, it's not worth it for me 90% of the time. I also tried the CBD body cream last year and it is the best thing I ever tried, BUT I hate the scent which is sage I'm pretty sure. However the scent is faint if not directly sticking your nose in the jar & does not linger and fades thankfully so I can use it, if I could smell it all day it wouldn't work for me. I'm experimenting adding almond scent oil (in a sep small container), my fave scent. I wear dark purples/plum/wine/mauve & before pandemi was loving a dusty grey mauve lip, I don't like bright or nude lips other than a nice dark brown lip. I have the jam or jelly "sheer" lip, the color is ok, I'm about to do an order & I think I'll get black cherry. I am going to try the ride or die balm too now after watching this. I need to go find swatches & pick a color. I have bought a redic amount of lipsticks & gloss during the pandemi, half elf.. I can't stop, need to try new products.
Good evening Stephanie i saw your video and i like it.elf is very nice company and its very affordable,i have also two products in my possession the primer and one concelere but i changed ather things and in the store told me that this is what they have for now and i disappointed because i want to see more..but thank you again for your advice and help and i will keep in mind.see you soon and stay safe.🧐🤗
Not one person has ever mentioned that tubing mascara out of those whom I watch. I had no clue! I like tubing mascaras for my lower lashes, but can't justify the price for just that area. I need thickening and volume on the top. 🥰 pS. I have the elf All the Feels facial oil, which doesn't agree with the skin on my face, so I do mix it with my body lotion or put a couple drops in the bath so I can still use it!
I had never heard of it either!! I was just browsing their mascara section and this one had good reviews compared to some of the others. Once I read that, I was sold!
I love so many things from e.l.f., but am I the only one who thinks the Hydrating Camo Concealer is super dry? I'm 43 and don't have dry skin or much crepeyness (?) yet. (I didn't like the Poreless Putty Primer, either, so maybe I'm just an oddball!)

Haha true! I guess I look at it as deeper colors for fall and usually berry tones are deeper shades, I guess? 😂
@@barbieblue3336 well then... WA state just lives in perpetual autumn sweater weather! 😉🤣
@@barbieblue3336 pretty much
Hi, Jen! Are you going to get the huda beauty haze obsessions palettes? I hope you could do a comparison between the khaki haze and juvia's Nomad palette. This one's a good video for affordable options
I'm actually working on that video now...should be up tomorrow at some point! I'll definitely check out the nomad palette! 😊
I Love this drugstore brand really much ❤️
I’m so jealous of you! Here in Houston TX we are still melting at 93º but feels like 101º because the humidity!🥵😩
Oh yikes! Usually I'm jealous of you guys when it's snowing here and you have nice weather! But this is my favorite time of year here in CT...cool and crisp in the morning/evening and warm during the day.
It's cooling down here in Michigan. We had a pretty warm summer. Hope you get some pleasant weather soon.
Sinndy Morr thank you! I hope that too!☺️❤️
How is the ELF mascara compared to the Loreal Double Extend? Anyone tried both?
The brush is smaller on the Elf and it doesn't have a primer. It doesn't give me quite as much volume as the Loreal but it's pretty close!
@@JenPhelps Thank you! Didn't expect such a quick response!
Hey Jen, how does the ELF hydrating camo concealer compare to the Joah Truly Yours? I know you like that one too and I've avoided the ELF because I've not heard it reviewed by anyone who also likes the Joah.
You look lovely as always ❤ and so sweet
I bought the matte putty primer and it’s very smoothing and kinda hydrating on my skin which is shocking cuz it’s matte but it works for my combo skin
👈 adds everything to cart. 😍
TRUFFLE PALETTE
Another look.. could these Elf blush and highlighter be a dope for the cover effects blush and highliger?
Can you try the brand Beauty from Dollar general.
What’s your lipstick? I love that color!
It's the Sheer Slick Lipstick in Golden Pear that I showed in the video. 😊❤️
❤️❤️❤️
I know right it’s already fall weather - saranyabiswas

How does the elf body lotion smell compare to the Milani green goddess smell? I had to return that, couldn’t handle the lingering smell.
It doesn't smell anything like it...I prefer the Elf one!
I love YoU !!
