@@trhansen3244 The Beatles more talented than Beyonce? Are you kidding me? The Beatles were GREAT composers who wrote music that will last for generations. Do you think they will be playing "Single ladies" in weddings and funerals like they play Beatles songs? Beyonce is a very good singer and a great artist, but she will not have the same lasting power as the Beatles. There is absolutely no comparison. It`s like comparing Britney Spear to Mozart or Beethoven.

I remember a billboard stat when I wana hold your hand was number one for five song in the chart were all Beatles songs I think that was part of the press term Beatle mania came from. But I believe Lennon and McCartney wrote around 300 songs ( 290 something) and George wrote several more , but I think he kept most for his solo work his first solo album was a triple album of all his songs up to that point , the level of success is hard to comprehend and talent

wrong thats only what Paul thought he was writing about...really he was telling John to go ahead and commit to Yoko and let her take Pauls place as his best friend and partner its pretty obvious when you look at lines like "your waiting for someone to perform with" Julian isn't looking for someone to perform with at this point but John is and it has been Paul for years. Same with all the mentions of a 'her'. Julian isn't starting any relationships but John is. John was also in a lot of pain at this time and was feeling a ton of pressure.
Paul started it about Julian, but it quickly became more about John. John thought so for sure even after Paul told him it was about Julian.

In 1968 The Beatles had so much money coming in, it was necessary (for tax reasons) to form their own company. This was called Apple Corp Ltd. . Apple was going to delve in to records, electronics, fashion, films and manufacturing. Hey Jude was the bands first release on their new label. It was a worldwide smash hit, despite being over 7 minutes long. A 7 minute single was virtually unheard of at that time. But as you will learn Empress, the Beatles rewrote the book on just about about everything involved in the music business. Welcome aboard the Beatles train Hun, you are in for the ride of your life. Buckle up !! Best of luck to you and your channel, RNB

You've just reacted to the biggest selling musical artists of all time. The list is as follows:
#5) Led Zeppelin - approximately 350 million units sold.
#4) Michael Jackson - approximately 400 million units sold.
#3) Garth Brooks - approximately 500 million units sold.
#2) Elvis Presley - approximately 750 million units sold.
    and then finally
#1) The Beatles - approximately 2.1 BILLION units sold!!!!!!
As you can see, no one else even comes close to them. They are as relevant today as they were 50 years ago, and they are currently tied with Adele for the biggest selling album of the 21st century (with the album titled "1"). So, so many great songs. You could spend an entire career reacting to them. It's cool that you finally discovered them Enjoy the ride!

Wow, this was your first Beatles reaction?
Oh my... you're going to love this trip!
I would suggest that you react to songs from their albums in order. Not entire albums, but the best songs from each album.
You see, music was evolving very rapidly during their relatively short time together (recording for about 7 years).
The Beatles were a big part of that evolution, so their music changed drastically between 1963 and 1970.
So being aware of the era (an "era" only being 1-2 years in this case) that each song is from will put it in context.
    ENJOY! 😘

This was a particularly high point in the Beatles career, a watershed moment for them, they became so dominant from this point on. They forced the radio stations to play their 7min masterpiece on the airwaves when 3min was the norm. And Paul's outro improvised vocals were absolutely incredible. The flip side of this single had Revolution which introduced heavily distorted guitar to the airwaves for the first time. Just brilliant!!!

Jude is Julian Lennon, John Lennon’s oldest song with his first wife. Paul wrote this song for Julian also known as Jules because of his parents breakup. Paul was encouraging “Jude” to let his step mother into his life and his heart. It would take a long time before this would happen. In the last decade or so some tension has been reduced. John was murdered at the age of 40 had a younger son Sean with his wife Yoko Ono. John did not leave anything to his eldest son Julian in his will. Julian and Yoko came to some agreement and the relationship was less strained. This did not stop Julian from having a meaningful and loving relationship with his brother Sean. They are both musicians in their own right but Julian is also a talented photographer, environmentalist, philanthropist and supports a foundation close to my heart, the Lupus Foundation of America. You should check out some of Julian’s songs “Valotte” “Much To Late For Goodbyes” and in recent years my favorite “Everything Changes”. Please enjoy you new venture into the Beatles catalog of 220 songs that were completed in 8 years. All masterpieces in my opinion. Thank you for the reaction.

I like the way you can hear the raw effortless talent of these guys. They are just singing and playing instruments. Just like Turner with his brushes, just painting a picture. Shear Talent

You, The Beatles and I are from 3 generations and 3 different continents- yet we can share and feel each others heart and soul. Love beauty and understanding across boundaries. Peace

Jude is John Lennon's son (Julian Lennon).
Paul McCartney, the man singing, wrote it for his band mate's son.
