So now you have stepped in the deep Beatles rabbit hole that you never will leave
Easily the best band.
No escape possible if you are infected by their music
The Beatles is not a band... is a miracle!
Definitely true.
I hope she digs deep into them. Next song she should react to is "Let it be" the song who came to Paul after his late mother Mary came to him in a dream when Paul was feeling down.
Are you suggesting The Beatles were more talented than Beyonce?
@@trhansen3244 The Beatles more talented than Beyonce? Are you kidding me? The Beatles were GREAT composers who wrote music that will last for generations. Do you think they will be playing "Single ladies" in weddings and funerals like they play Beatles songs? Beyonce is a very good singer and a great artist, but she will not have the same lasting power as the Beatles. There is absolutely no comparison. It`s like comparing Britney Spear to Mozart or Beethoven.
@@yellyman5483 Seems like no matter what people are talking about they end up making fun of Britney Spears. Very sad.
Welcome to the greatest band of all time. 200 plus of the greatest songs in music history. They were not all hits ( 49 made the top 40 ) but they are all Beatles gold !!! Enjoy.
Yes still have the record for number one hits I believe , UK charts they had 27 number one hits.
@@shanenolan8252 combined with US, 27 songs went to number 1, in the US alone it was 21. I believe but am not positive over 80 songs made the Hot 100 in the US.
@@richardpatterson302 yes I think your number is pretty accurate. Like the songs on the red and blue greatest hits albums not all number ones but hits and those albums didn't have them all , red and blue are both double albums. I remember a billboard stat when I wana hold your hand was number one for five song in the chart were all Beatles songs I think that was part of the press term Beatle mania came from. But I believe Lennon and McCartney wrote around 300 songs ( 290 something) and George wrote several more , but I think he kept most for his solo work his first solo album was a triple album of all his songs up to that point , the level of success is hard to comprehend and talent
Unquestionably the greatest band ever, moreover its arguable that without The Beatles breaking the ground first none of the others would have followed, certainly not in the ways they did.
49 made the top 40 in less than 10 years!
Welcome to the Beatles rabbit hole. Some of the greatest music ever made, and there’s a LOT of it
In just a few years, they produced two of the five best albums ever.
I got married in Korea 1982. Had a traditional Korean wedding. Required to sing a song to your spouse. I sang this song in Korean. Changed Jude to her name. Yong. I think I practiced for 3 weeks. Lol. Nervous as heck.
You probably started off K-POP.
I really do not korean boy bands. If people really knew how big of assholes they are.
That must have been so sweet. I hope it always stays as a good memory !
You picked the perfect introduction to the Beatles. One of their best.
Paul wrote the song for John Lennon's son, Julian, to help him through the breakup of Lennon and his wife Cynthia.
Yeah he felt bad for Julian because John Lennon abandoned him.
wrong thats only what Paul thought he was writing about...really he was telling John to go ahead and commit to Yoko and let her take Pauls place as his best friend and partner its pretty obvious when you look at lines like "your waiting for someone to perform with" Julian isn't looking for someone to perform with at this point but John is and it has been Paul for years. Same with all the mentions of a 'her'. Julian isn't starting any relationships but John is. John was also in a lot of pain at this time and was feeling a ton of pressure.
Paul started it about Julian, but it quickly became more about John. John thought so for sure even after Paul told him it was about Julian.
@@mike-mz6yz I think Paul would know more then you would
It was never about John. That is what John thought.
A song that stops you doing what’s your doing and sing with everyone around you
Jude is John Lennon's oldest son, Julian....that was born to John and his first wife, Cynthia.
Yeah, Paul called him Jules, and Paul liked to play with Julian (Jules) John Lennon's son, anyway John and his wife were divorcing, and the kid was living through that, and Paul wanted to comfort him so he was thinking of words to sing to him, so he started composing this song, Hey Jules ... Later changed it to "Jude" because it sounded better, as he told in many interviews, it just sounded better as Jude than Hey Jules :D
She should check out his songs "Too late for goodbyes" "I don't want to know"
Julian did a song called Saltwater, which was really good too
The Beatles Are music!
.......you just found the Beatles and opened up a whole new world 😁😁
It’s too long they’ll never play it on the radio. ‘’ oh yes they will f’in play it” - John Lennon
"Hey Jude" has the distinction of being "the most popular song by the most popular group" ever. The Beatles were bigger than any other group ever, and their biggest song was "Hey Jude."
In 1968 The Beatles had so much money coming in, it was necessary (for tax reasons) to form their own company. This was called Apple Corp Ltd. . Apple was going to delve in to records, electronics, fashion, films and manufacturing. Hey Jude was the bands first release on their new label. It was a worldwide smash hit, despite being over 7 minutes long. A 7 minute single was virtually unheard of at that time. But as you will learn Empress, the Beatles rewrote the book on just about about everything involved in the music business. Welcome aboard the Beatles train Hun, you are in for the ride of your life. Buckle up !! Best of luck to you and your channel, RNB
The most addictive chant in music history!
Paul's outro screaming on this track is absolute genius, and you don't just get lucky when you record this type of ad lib thing, this is years of clubbing in the denizen of rock n roll with throat ripped to shreds and much experimentation. Thank you so much Mr. McCartney.
The greatest band.
By Light Years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And that song is 53 years old but it sounds so fresh still. Amazing and I think that was their best selling single (and they had many, I think 27 #1 hits in america and uk)
Dear Lady
Millions of my generation (born 1959) were freaking because it was something never heard before simply THE BEATLES
"here comes the sun" is my favorite song by the Beatles. It makes me feel like a long summer walk and you find your favorite wild plant, like wild strawberries.
You should react to the live version and watch them have the audience join them on stage ( Vevo ) The Beatles - Hey Jude 8:10
ruclips.net/video/A_MjCqQoLLA/видео.html
The Beatles! Yes! Lovely song. I think you would love Let It Be for sure. Stay safe.
😍😍😍
The Beatles always putting smiles into faces. That's because they had lots of love in their music.
Obviously the greatest band of all time
Empress, back story...Hey Jude evolved from Hey Jules and song written by Paul McCartney to John Lennon’s son Julian.
One of the most popular songs of all time
I first saw the Beatles in 1961 in the Cavern Club in Liverpool before they became a worldwide phenomenon. A magical time for music, there was an amazing electric atmosphere in this tiny smoke filled venue below the ground, it was the starting point for many great artists, wonderful memories!
You've just reacted to the biggest selling musical artists of all time. The list is as follows:
#5) Led Zeppelin - approximately 350 million units sold.
#4) Michael Jackson - approximately 400 million units sold.
#3) Garth Brooks - approximately 500 million units sold.
#2) Elvis Presley - approximately 750 million units sold.
and then finally
#1) The Beatles - approximately 2.1 BILLION units sold!!!!!!
As you can see, no one else even comes close to them. They are as relevant today as they were 50 years ago, and they are currently tied with Adele for the biggest selling album of the 21st century (with the album titled "1"). So, so many great songs. You could spend an entire career reacting to them. It's cool that you finally discovered them Enjoy the ride!
Peace
Beautiful song, beautiful reaction by a beautiful woman, what more can be said.
There was a fun live version of this on The David Frost Show demonstrating how ALL people of ALL Colours, Cultures and Nationalities come together on this video and you would have loved it Empress !
Listen to "Long and Winding Road" by the Beatles...Beautiful Classic...
One of the greatest songs ever by the Best Band Ever
Anyone who doesn't chat at the end of this cannot be trusted. Same with the people who don't headbob to Bohemian Rhapsody. I will always put this on if I'm not feeling well (mentally) and it will always brighten me up.
There is a great live video of Sir Paul playing this very song in front of probably 10,000 people. 40+ years and the energy is still as intense. 3 generations of fans singing along with this. It's worth watching.
Guess what? Paul talks about throwing that line out sounds like you got a parrot on your shoulder and John goes no you've got to leave that and that's the best part.
You're awesome...and so is this classic Beatles tune!
Wow, this was your first Beatles reaction?
Oh my... you're going to love this trip!
I would suggest that you react to songs from their albums in order. Not entire albums, but the best songs from each album.
You see, music was evolving very rapidly during their relatively short time together (recording for about 7 years).
The Beatles were a big part of that evolution, so their music changed drastically between 1963 and 1970.
So being aware of the era (an "era" only being 1-2 years in this case) that each song is from will put it in context.
ENJOY! 😘
You HAVE to check out a live version where they get the whole crowd to sing at the end :)
Look up classic and you'll find the Beatles! For me, and millions the world over, they are the greatest classic band of all time! Please allow yourself to indulge in future listens to Beatles songs!
I will always love this song
Singles and Pop Singles were meant to be played on coin operated jukeboxes, or sold on a tiny records for quick money, so they were usually short and light, not much longer than 2 minutes on average. This song was released as a single, but was over 7 minutes long, and was a huge hit.
Ringo's drums were so creative and he's underrated as a drummer.
One of the greatest songs of all time. Beatles rabbit hole ahead...red pill or blue lol.
Watching your face light up to this classic was a joy. Their list of hits just goes on and on and we will have a wonderful time watching you discover them. Great reaction Empress 👍😀❤️
Wow discovered the Beatles Awesome!!
Loving your reactions, daaam that smile of yours is gorgeous.
It's the Beatles!
This was a particularly high point in the Beatles career, a watershed moment for them, they became so dominant from this point on. They forced the radio stations to play their 7min masterpiece on the airwaves when 3min was the norm. And Paul's outro improvised vocals were absolutely incredible. The flip side of this single had Revolution which introduced heavily distorted guitar to the airwaves for the first time. Just brilliant!!!
Luv ya Beatles
One of the best songs ever change my mind
Like them or not, the Beatles are legends. Another great reaction from my favorite reactor!! ❤❤😘
Absolute legends 😍
Beatles rabbit hole: you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave (even if you wanted to 😉)
The GOAT
This is the greatest song.
The Beatles rules)
Now girl you are listening to one of if not THE best songs ever made
The lyrics "Well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder", penned by the coolest heart-warmers ever.
i've seen so many rteactions to the "hey jude" video i almost forgot how much better the recording is. this really is quite a remarkably good song. the video's good too but this single version of the song is just heavenly.
Yes!!!!! My favorite song by them!! It’s great to see young people enjoying this. Thanks Empress. 😊🌹
Firstly, love your channel.. secondly, The Beatles (greatest act of all time) are a particularly different kind of artist to react to and get to know. The best way to really appreciate them is to start with their early stuff and mover your way up in chronological order...so much music and diversity and influence on the world it’s hard to imagine they did it all in 7 years. Enjoy your dive!
This was the only song you could use to close the London Olympics in 2012 with Paul McCartney getting the crowd and athletes all singing along, what a memory...
One thing about the Beatles they put all the words in the right places
A song that is truly great from the start and ends being a anthem for all time.❤❤❤
Top selling musicians of all time.
Wow she's so beautiful what a nice kind human being
One of the greatest bands of all time!
realdeal

One of their more epic songs Joy.....Thank you very much!!!!
As a scouser, i grew up with the beatles playing everyday.. reading these comments make me so proud to be from liverpool.
I love seeing the joy on your face hearing this song!
Sorry to be so obvious, but it's difficult not to be blown away by how beautiful you are Empress. Your smile is enough to brighten up anyone's day. I love how emotional you get when you listen to a sad song. I just had to say it.
💙💙💙
Thank you for your reaction to The Beatles, Empress JJ! There is The Beatles, then there is everyone else! A few songs to begin your journey through the band include Let It Be, Yesterday, A Day In The Life and Come Together. Enjoy!!
My first job in high school was at Burger King. 😊A two mile walk in any type of weather was a pleasure with this song.
This song is seared into the hearts and minds of at least two generations. This song identifies "us."
Great song. Great review.
Oh, Empress...you have just stepped into the deep end of the pool. To this day when I’m out riding motorcycle on a beautiful day through beautiful country I’ve got the earbuds cranked up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo and I’m SINGING!
When those NA NA NA's kick in
Jude is Julian Lennon, John Lennon’s oldest song with his first wife. Paul wrote this song for Julian also known as Jules because of his parents breakup. Paul was encouraging “Jude” to let his step mother into his life and his heart. It would take a long time before this would happen. In the last decade or so some tension has been reduced. John was murdered at the age of 40 had a younger son Sean with his wife Yoko Ono. John did not leave anything to his eldest son Julian in his will. Julian and Yoko came to some agreement and the relationship was less strained. This did not stop Julian from having a meaningful and loving relationship with his brother Sean. They are both musicians in their own right but Julian is also a talented photographer, environmentalist, philanthropist and supports a foundation close to my heart, the Lupus Foundation of America. You should check out some of Julian’s songs “Valotte” “Much To Late For Goodbyes” and in recent years my favorite “Everything Changes”. Please enjoy you new venture into the Beatles catalog of 220 songs that were completed in 8 years. All masterpieces in my opinion. Thank you for the reaction.
You should see the live version , they performed it on TV I think they only did it once in 1968 . On the David frost show , but hey jude video will get you the same result its incredible the audience coming up on stage with them
Empress Classic reaction to a Classic song from a Classic band. .This is a Rock Anthem....The Beatles greatest band in music history PERIOD!!! 20 # 1 Hits, Most # 1 hits in music history PERIOD!! Nobody Better PERIOD!! Hey Jude the song is about John Lennon"s(Member of the Beatles) son Julian (JUDE) At the time this song was written John Lennon was going thru a divorce from his wife...Julian(Jude)his son at the time he was very young and was having a hard time with his mother and father divorcing as all kids will during a divorce,So Paul McCartney wrote and sang this song for Julian(Jude) to reassure him everything will be ok......Julian Lennon is Hey Jude....Empress everyone sings along at the end NA NA NA NA NA NA NA,NA NA Hey Jude. That's the greatness of The Beatles...John Lennon/Paul McCartney wrote 95% of all Beatles songs...Lennon/McCartney greatest duo song writers in The history of Music!!!
Amazing how this song fades away, isn't it?
I love that you gave credit to Julian ( Jude)
the anthem for the people
Jude is John Lennon's oldest son named Julian. The song was originally written as Hey Jules, but it was changed to Hey Jude for the song. Paul McCartney wrote it to cheer up John Lennon as he was going through a divorce at the time.
now that the Beatles grabbed you, you´ll never stop listenning to their music ´cause you will keep discovering something new in those very old but wonderful songs
Glad you like this song, dear Empress! There are dozens of other lovely songs by the Beatles just waiting for you to react to them...

The Beatles' music touches your soul!
I like the way you can hear the raw effortless talent of these guys. They are just singing and playing instruments. Just like Turner with his brushes, just painting a picture. Shear Talent
The Beatles are the best.
You can't go wrong with the Beatles.
Hey joy, nice to see you, Your beautiful, awesome reaction
This was 1968 and Paul McCartney is still recording and touring now just turned 80
Love your reaction. Thank you.
You, The Beatles and I are from 3 generations and 3 different continents- yet we can share and feel each others heart and soul. Love beauty and understanding across boundaries. Peace
Anyone who doesn’t sing along later on is a zombie- that’s how you can find them
You passed the test empress
Bella come il sole !
The Beatles took a song like Hey Jude and turns into a jubilee
Jude is John Lennon's son (Julian Lennon).
Paul McCartney, the man singing, wrote it for his band mate's son.
Good choice Empress!!! I love when you do the old school stuff.. I love what you do and keep up the good work I really enjoyed it
From an Eskimo from the USA, I literally have to let you know you're REALLY beautiful. Thank you.
The worlds longest outro?
