The most addictive 11 syllables in music history! Everyone chimes in every time. No one but the Beatles can repeat the same lines for 5 minutes and it's not enough!!!
A song written by Paul McCartney for John Lennon's son Julian. Julian was having a rough time when John was getting divorced with Julian's mother. Paul wrote this song for Julian and it was initially called Hey Jules.
the music- another time, another planet, another universe.
Yess
Some critics kept saying the Beatles were through because they hadn't released a hit single since March 1968, Lady Madonna, then in September the Beatles kicked them in the ass with Hey Jude, #1 for 9 weeks in the USA. Today, the Beatles' timeless music is STILL not through.
So great they invited the audience up on stage . So different back then, wish we could get back to that peaceful place!☮️❤️
This song gives me peace
the sixties was anything but peaceful!
@@jamessollazzo4860 Yeah. There was that Vietnam thingy.
Thanx for IMO the Beatles greatest song. That’s saying a lot since they created a massive catalog of greatness
Your welcome
Agreed 100%
It wasn’t just the music. They had a aura and a deep-felt longing for a peaceful world.

Always hang with hippies. You have a home there, my friend. ❤️😘
😘😘🤗
Another great reaction, the main ingredient Beatles music brought to the world was joy.
Thank you
Back in the 70s and 80s, radio stations that played the Classic Rock and Album Rock formats would every so often do an all day Saturday and/or Sunday special where they counted down the top 100 rock songs of all time- The order would sometimes vary, but the top 3 were almost always Hey Jude, Stairway To Heaven, and American Pie.
That’s pretty cool
The video was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg and featured 300 extras and a 36 piece orchestra at the finale. First Beatles' song recorded on 8 track. It premiered on David Frost show in England and The Smothers Brothers show in North America.
They are amazing
Great reaction to , as you rightly say, a masterpiece, you have good taste fella!).
love your comment "the Beatles sure know how to get the crowd going".... you don't know how right you are, but to find out, watch something from early in their career.... the Ed Sullivan Show performances from 1964 are a good place to start with that... "Twist and Shout" is a good one
Definitely will check it out
Yes it's true, their B-side songs were hits also.
When originally released in Australia, Hey Jude was the B side. The A side was Revolution. On the hit parades it was listed as Revolution/Hey Jude
They ended up releasing double A sides after a while and ditched the B side designation altogether for some of their single releases. Different song on each side, but both labeled as side A.
keep enjoying they had over 200 classics
McCartney wrote this song for Lennon's young son, Julian, when his parents were divorcing.
If you want to sway back and forth with a few thousand other people, singing along, go see Paul McCartney live. When he does this song it's like a religious experience for the crowd. You can find videos on RUclips of him performing this to massive outdoor crowds (100,000+ in some cases) in places like Red Square, the Parthenon (?) and such. He directs the crowd, too. There's always a guys-only verse, then a ladies-only verse, then everybody back together and if you want to see an engaged crowd, you better believe you'll see one then. Every size, shape, colour and age of person. It's really something.
I saw Paul in June in Syracuse NY and he was amazing. You're right about Hey Jude, when he started playing it and we then sang along, it was such a beautiful feeling of love and fellowship.
I count that as one of the greatest experiences of my life, to be in the same place as Paul McCartney and all those other people who love him too, singing one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
@@shelq3814 It doesn't get much better in this life, does it? 💕🌎🎶
@@buddyneher9359 No, it does not! :)
What’s funny is at the 6:53 mark: the young girl in white with the red hair is checking out McCartney.
Lol I didn’t even notice
Yep 🙋🏻♀️ Best-selling group/artists of all time (and in just 7 years.) They have so many hits (and great songs) but this is def a masterpiece. Most people know the nah nah nah’s, at any age. McCartney bleeds melodies and I’ve yet to hear a better vocalist, honestly. His tone and range 😩
I would have to agree with you 😊
At one point they had 14 hits in The Billboard Charts at the same time including Numbers 1,2,3,4,5 ALL at the same time.
They have sold TWICE as many records and Albums as the next 2 Artists (Elvis and Michael Jackson) COMBINED😀
I think that’s impressive
@@therealjetty4889 Yes, My friend.
They did not just change the World of music, they, literally, changed the World😀 They were the first Artists to play outdoor stadiums (Shea Stadium 55.000). They hold the World Record for having one of their songs being recorded by the most artists ( "Yesterday" ) with over 3,000 other Acts covering it and when they visited Adelaide, Australia over 500,000 lined the 7-mile route from the airport to their hotel 😀
I worked at Abbey Road studios for a few months. I got to “play” that piano. One day the Manager said “sit in the reception area for the next ten minutes, it will be worth it” the receptionist was super hot so I didn’t argue 😂. Within 5 minutes Paul McCartney walked in and shook everyone’s hands. He was there for 3-4 day’s recording something classical. After a while being around someone like that felt semi normal 😂 nice experience.
I remember this was the first international TV broadcast. It was on NBC.
Pretty awesome to experience that
Could you please do 'Across the universe'. Thank you for the reaction!
They held the top five spots on Billboard
I believe it
This ending goes on and on in my mind🤘❤️ take the load off annie, put the load on me is a nod to the band called THE BAND. A must for you ti react to live with the staple singers
Send me the link to the song
This is the first Beatles song that I could sing as a child it brings fondest memories to me I knew this song and I didn't know yesterday or any other Beatles song but I love yesterday more than this song because it's magical and it vocals and melody is perfect
I can’t wait to react too it
the beginning is them goofing around during the commercial break.
I did not know that lol
Legends❤️😉👌👌👌

Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Long Tall Sally, money just give me money that's what I want or you can check out Candlestick Park their last concert on video or Shea Stadium 55,000 in 1965
Fun fact: Dirk wrote this for Sticky after he accidentally ran over an off duty police woman.
Paul wrote this for jullian Lennon after John Lennon abandoned him and his mom for yoko ono.
Go for “Revolution “ next . It was the flip side of the single
Ok
Groundbreakers
Great reaction..gosh Paul's note at 8:39 must have been a an F or G...that.was really high up on the register.
His vocals is amazing
You're cheating yourself if you aren't listening to their albums.
Please note the rainbow nation up on stage. The lads are just mucking around at the beginning. Written for John Lennon's son. Once you have watched it I will give you a cool factoid! Have to get to the end to get it though so see you in around 6 minutes!
SORRY! that took longer, dinner was late.
Ok, long story short: guy goes alone hiking in a national park. Pre mobile phones, GPS, all that didn't exist. Goes off trail and gets hopelessly lost. Calls out for help repeatedly, nothing.
After wandering for hours he starts singing, loudly, "Nah nah nananana, nananana, nananana" after a while he suddenly hears, way off in the distance, in response to his "naananana's" "hey Jude". They followed the direction of each other's voice, using this song. He was found.
Music saves lives; The Beatles have quite literally saved mine (another story) and I don't think I am alone here.
Hope you enjoyed that. THEY changed the world, yes they did.
Peace, love and music from East Coast of England. xx
I love the fact that The Beatles save lives
@@therealjetty4889 Me too brother, me too. Did you know that when they toured USA deep south in 64, they refused to play to a segregated audience? Officials had to allow desegregation or no Beatles! Cool, huh?
@@DawnSuttonfabfour Yeah that is very cool
Kind of mucking around, it is the theme song of the show they are on, David Frost Show.
Please react everglow alternative music video by Coldplay.
Ok I will 😊
@@therealjetty4889 I love you.
None of them can read music!!!
Please flip the screen so the music is the largest. No one wants to see an empty room and a tiny screen of the artist.
