@yotricks. Adam, I really appreciate you guys taking the time to redo some of the videos you've already made. From the better camera to the different angle shots timed perfectly. And what I feel you guys have done better is getting into the mechanics of the tricks a lot better than you've done in the older ones you're now redoing. Can you help me out? If I am trying to do it by swinging it up into the top string on a second motion but I'm not getting enough strength, so it just hits the bottom of that string and comes back down, what do I do?

When I hit the string with my yo-yo it’s doesn’t fold under into the map
Okay, I need a bit of help. Whenever I rock the Yoyo into the underside of the string, no matter how I position it it always misses the string. It goes outside and I tried the advice in the vid but it didn’t work. Thanks, YoTricks!

Adam great video but why do you use a responsive sage because I kept messing up with a responsive yoyo I only can do it if I have a unresponsive yoyo please respond
We use a responsive yoyo because this is a basic mount. Any string trick will be easier to learn on an unresponsive yoyo, but we prefer to do as many tricks as possible with responsive yoyos, just in case that is all players have.

We do not carry CLYW yoyos, so we will not be doing a review on that yoyo, since we only review yoyos we carry. It is a very nice yoyo, but quite a bit more expensive than other yoyos made the same way.
Finally got this trick down and I noticed my two main problems 1 I was swinging the yoyo to fast causing me to miss the string 2 having the string too close to my finger which caused the yoyo to hit my finger and have i had to then start over comment if you guys had the same problems
Of the three, Horizon Ultra, ND Ultra, and Space Crown Ultra, which one would perform best at fast but simplistic tricks while also having the ability to stay spinning for long technical tricks.
And would the basecamp jackknife be better than the three?
Of those 4 I would recommend the Horizon Ultra.

I'm interested in learning harder unresponsive tricks (I know the basics), horizontal and grinds. Which Yoyo would you recommend? Under $70.

Hitting the string has more to do with the position of your hands than the angle of your fingers. And how straight the yoyo is moving.
With some mounts I sometimes bind the (responsive) yoyo by accident. Do you know how to prevent this?

If the string is too tight then this happens
Most likely you are just allowing some slack in the string, which is what causes a responsive yoyo to come back. However, if you are not throwing a breakaway to get into these mounts, it will cause the same issue.

Just about. It is not great for grind tricks, but otherwise you can learn pretty much anything.

When is a good time to replace a string? I can’t really tell.
Whenever you feel the string is not performing as well as you like, or that it is keeping the yoyo from performing as well as you like. You will get a feel for this over time. I could give you an estimate, but it is different depending on the type of string you use, and how particular you are about how your yoyo plays.

I replace it when it becomes discolored and frayed. Up to you though.

What’s the difference between the Flight and the Flight Pro?
The Flight Pro is made from Delrin instead of polycarbonate, it is more expensive, and IMO, does not play quite as well.

I just cant manage to get the string lifted. I dont get it at all it frustates me so much. It dosent matter how many times i watch This i cant manage to come even close to get the mount done. And if i ever manage to hit the string it just bumps back the yoyo. I just dont understand how to lift the string.
