@@yotricks I wish I would've taken better note of what tricks I ended up looking for else where. The first stuff that comes to mind is just meta stuff I don't even have names for that you always see. I'd imagine its hard to find these meta elements while relevant and make such a good tutorials like these. That is a good example. I think part of the magic of meta tricks is that not everyone can do them at first, and then when they become too popular they fade away. Difficult to keep on top of, that's for sure.

This trick was way harder than it looks. Took me 2 months and only landed it 2x out of hundreds. Finally this weekend it clicked and I'm landing 90%. If you are having trouble with this just jeep trying. It's way easier with the pinwheel added first.
Thank you for your videos! I have started my yoyo journey since Dec 2021 with a second-hand yoyo. I can't imagine a spinning orb that without battery and monitor could bring so much fun! Playing yoyo helps me to focus and calm my mind during my lunch break (my job is stressful :p). Thank you for your dedication (and other yoyo content creator) to make the world into a better place.
5:25 this is purely guessing but, is it possible that he simply reversed which direction he had the slipknot on his finger? so instead lf having the double strings facing the right finger he had it facing the index finger
This actually helps the momentum of Godspeed because when you regularly get into the 1.5 mount, it has the opposite momentum of the start of the Godspeed combo. But this whip into the mount does not use a lot of momentum.
I find it a little funny that I had to learn this a week ago with very few good tutorials only for this to come out lol Excellent tutorial, tho, I know it's gonna help the people from the struggle I went through

Could not have explained it better. The moving of the yoyo hand in the downward diagonal motion is ,during the whip, is essential to the trick.

figure 8; you might also like revolutions. (when you get good there is something called gyroloutions.)

@@yotricks then the slack doesn't seem to wrap around the yoyo enough for it to catch, I'm not sure if it just comes down to repetition and practice
My guess is that you need to exaggerate your slack motion more.
