Some neat things I found about the first slack: If you twist counterclockwise and perform the rest of the element the same, you’ll end up with a gt that pops out to a clean trapeze, no twists.
You can still get a trapeze with no twists by twisting clockwise, though. You have to drop the slack behind the yoyo instead of in front, and then unwrap in front of the yoyo instead of behind. You’ll pop out the front for this version too.

Have been throwing for years, still desperately strive to learn tricks such as this, find harder tricks too difficult to learn from RUclips, Thanks

in the first example, you can also do it with only the index finger, you are making a smaller triangle, but you are able to do it much faster and smoother imo. but anyway great video as always ^^

Diego, you and your tutorials get me motivated learn new tricks. Always start simple; and show me there is a place to go. It's hard to get motivated when there is *no one* to learn tricks from in person.
It would be interesting to know how you got started. Not why, but *how* you got started, and what path you took to get where you are now.

First of all, thanks for your comment! That's a good question actually, I started by learning as many tricks as possible from yotricks channel and mrmatio, then after a couple of years I managed to learn tricks directly from videos.. today, what keeps me motivated is to focus on a small element at a time (instead of combos) a particular slack, tech element or flow move and practice it until I get it smooth..

@@DiegoBYoyothings Thanks so much for responding. That's pretty interesting about focusing on small stuff first.
Also, I just got the first slack GT trick down. I feel so accomplished today! Thank so much for showing it!

Hi Diego! I have only just discovered your channel recently and I would like to congratulate you on quite a few things: - Your English descriptions are very good, using all the correct terms, the filming techniques are very understated with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere which is enhanced with cool music, then your yo-yo style is beautifully relaxed and elegant. What you present really makes me want to learn in the same style and is a very refreshing change from all the speed combos etc…
One thing I’d like to add with reference to your elegance is to include the details. I’m learning these slacks and will learn the trick at the end as well. The one thing that I have noticed that is missing is the beautiful rolling action you use to dismount out of the green triangles. This element allows the trick to maintain its flow and finish off beautifully. Can you explain how you do your dismounts in this way for the exterior and interior?
So, congratulations! I’ve been watching A LOT of yo-yo channels over the last 8 to 10 years and your content is very high quality - high five man!

Thanks a lot for having take the time to write such a long comment, I really appreciate your words. To dismount the reverse gt in the rolling motion you have to roll the mount in order to bring the yoyo to the top, when the yoyo starts to fall you want to move the string away from it so that it misses and fall out of the mount

@@DiegoBYoyothings That's great thanks. Making a nice comment is very little compared to your effort. I've been working on the rolling GT element for a couple of hours now and I'm starting to get the right result. I'm planning on combing your third round the hand slack with a MrMatio video showing a Yuuki Spencer combo..; Sounds a bit incongruous but anyway.... :-)

Nice video! A suggestion could be to make something similar to this, although ending in something else than gt's? Like trapeze, double or nothing, 1.5mount, etc, to make it easier to make combos! Anyways, keep the good work, congrats on 2k

The final trick has been driving me crazy trying to get it consistent for days. I’ve done it correctly a few times but a majority of the time the strings are twisted incorrectly at the sub mount part and it doesn’t roll properly. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Thanks for the videos as well Diego.
