It's an adaptation of the takeshi bounce. Instead of just one slack unravel, this uses a double unraveling element, but fundamentally I would consider this a "takeshi bounce". Good tutorial! I haven't seen this double slack unravel adaptation of this element before.

I think you might be doing it wrong, the correct way do it is in the Paul harness tut or at least that is they way Takeshi does it ( the inventor of the trick) and it is the most popular way of doing it. Edit, just realized the original tut on this trick was deleted. Fun fact everyone that sees this comment has to sub to my channel.
Man I hate to critique you because you have taught me more tricks than anybody because you’re so thorough. But when it comes to the final mount over your throw hand and flicking with your thumb to create the slack you really did not do a good enough job at explaining that so every time I go to do it the yo-yo either binds or I get lost not knowing where and how to land and complete the trick so please please update this video bro
