Depends where you're playing, in EU luckily I still find full lobbies during peak hours
On PC, the game is still played enought...
On ps4 there are plenty of lobbies

Nice seeing someone fixed up some of these effects. They were a little toned down originally due to console and lower end pc optimization, but surprisingly still look great even now. I can definitely see the original visuals being much more emphasized with this mod. Good work.

@@Massihancer It's great going back to see enough time has passed to where people can heavily mod these games more often. BF1 is still my favorite game in the series since I can't name another AAA WW1 game. It's such a unique setting for a game, and I'm all for it and others getting more games. Vietnam or Civil War would be my pick.

games like Battlefield 1 are so beautiful thanks to your hardwork with assets created with photogrammetry. I work on it in my spare time, I started from single player maps, but some maps need a different treathment especially for tonemap and color grade.
I hope to finish it soon.

bro this is how battlefield 6 is gonna look.
Unless they do some major graphics tweaks between now and release, their trailers indicate it won't be too much better than BF1's graphics (which were better than BFV's), reason being this graphics mod benefits from some of Unreal Engine 5 tech and Dice uses their in-house Frostbite engine, which isn't as optimized to handle the same caliber grahpics quality as UE5.

Hi, is this a continued version of Pascal Giltchers RTGI ReShade? I have installed PGs reshade and I have noticed really minimal differences with a massive FPS loss, and it looks nothing like this. Can you please explain or demonstrate how to install this properly?
yeah with RT shader the main problem is to get a correct access to the "Depth Buffer" on Reshade's global setting. If I get more support and requests I will make a Tutorial to explain many things I'm working on.
P.s.
this result is not possible using only RT shader since I totally reworked the tonemap of the game, adding Color Grading and many improvements to avoid smoke bleeds between fog and volumetric lights. I'm a crazy man : )

I absolutely love the effects and the textures. It really looks so damn real! My only complaint is that it's a bit too bright in some places. I know its supposed to be like real sunlight and everything, but it kinda drowns out the original dark and gritty palet of colors and shades that really gives this game an atmosphere of all out war. Its the same problem I felt with battlefield 5, it just didnt feel or look like ww2, ya know? Maybe just tone it down a small bit and I think it would ve perfect! Keep up the great work!👍
you could do it by reducing the "bounce light" value in the provided config file

@@Emma_madison yea it's just to attract people to get those mods. The closest thing available to ray tracing on a computer that does not have RT support is PT ( path tracing ) which is also shown in those Minecraft videos where they add path tracing shaders and call them ray tracing. Other than that the result is still beautiful.

depends from the game, sometimes are screen space reflections, in other case just some rough reflections on materials. (present also on Marty's RT shader)

They need to come out with a Battlefield V2 that addresses the complaints about V in a new game that doesn't suck. The only level I liked on that game was Iwo Jima, and that's it. And Battlefield One they just need to remaster it and change nothing. The game is fine just the way it is.

it's quite difficult to compare rtx on vs off, when resulting "average" brightness of scene is so different. Any chance to alleviate the effect by matching median scene brightness with some gamma-correction?
I try to reply to your question:
the Vanilla setting it's: default 50 brightness and ultra details in 4k Res., but it's not only a matter of brightness, I developed a special Tonemap after 3 months of work in my spare time blending it with R.T. effects for G.I. using also a fog/trasparency detector then there is more: post processing and Color grading. So people can have fun trying to balance brightness and contrast on their Phone/PC/TV but they will never match it, only like that.
