the price comes from items being sustainably/ethically produced. + quality ofc. u can’t rlly have cheap prices for super high quality and ethically produced items, for cheaper prices either quality or ethics have to be decreased.
The last dress, you could do full out royalcore instead of black. Some layered pearl necklaces and dewier makeup, your pearl headband, adding your white maxi skirt underneath! Just an idea! Love the video Alexa ❤️

Mystery boxes seem to be for people who have no idea of how or where to shop or want to try out an aesthetic that they are unsure of how to style. Because most of us are too picky about what we want to wear and tbh the people styling the boxes have no idea of what is in your closet or the little things that are deal breakers for you. The cost of all the different boxes are way over what it would be to just pick out the same stuff that you actually want in my opinion.
Oh yeah I agree I can go to the thrift stores in my area and come home with a whole damned wardrobe of clothes. However I do want to do a much more affordable mystery box just to try it lol

i love the tights and accessories! the first two items-i agree, they’re a bit plain. but the ruffle dress would look great with a long moss green cardigan if you want to dress it down a bit! for the winter, just add some hand warmers and a frilly scarf :)
The old Igirl bundles were truly something magical circa 2018-2019ish, they were full of deadstock and really cute 90s and other era vintage pieces. It seems now that bella has just hopped on a trend train and added it to her bundles & has overpriced them. She used to be so original with them and it kinda makes me sad?? I saw another comment where you mentioned dying that dress black and I definitely think that would be cute, but I will mention that when I saw you wearing it, my first thought was actually that it could easily be used as more of a cottagecore piece. Layering a white lacy or ruffled shirt under it could be very cute! Or even a forest green one, if you wanted to lean more into the dark cottagecore/cottagegore vibes. Love the video! Everything looks so pretty, but I agree this is best if you’re wanting one of their popular items so you getting more value for your purchase. If they did mini one outfit bundles under $100 that would interest me, because their theme choices do look like things I would wear or want to experiment with. If you’re not having luck thrifting or styling, this box is for you. Otherwise you can totally curate these looks over time if you don’t mind the hunt!

Another thing that you could do with the dress is lace the front with black satin ribbon to darken it into more your style. The body suit and skirt fit was adorable.

I absolutely loved the babydoll dress outfit. It was perfect with the accessories. The other 2 outfits also looked great on you, but i loved the first 1 the most. But i think you will going to find cute ways to style the beige dress and i think you can color it black. The only thing you to find out before painting it are the stitches and if you can change their color. Some stitches aren't possible to change the color. They stay the same color. And probably you have to change the ribbon and find a black or maybe even red ribbon, but that won't be too difficult to find. But maybe you will find a way to style the dress in this beige color and you are gonna like it the way it is. Thank you for buying the expensive box and share the video with us. It was nice to see and it will help other people to deside if they want to buy an box or not.

You could definitely pair black accessories with the champagne colored corsette. I see it more as a fall and winter dress, wearing a black long-sleeved see-through under it with black tights and any of your great boots. You could even wear that headband with it! I think it would be worth experimenting with... I can even see it with a black gothic looking shawl. Just a thought!
I think we’ve been spoilt with fast fashion. I think we have also got used to rubbish quality stuff. So in that way we expect more for our money. I think second hand is often really overpriced. (I’ve had beautiful 70’s pieces that are made amazingly well for cheaper than you can find 90’s bits which were originally mass produced. It doesn’t make sense to me!) I’m ok with paying for craftsmanship. And quality. But as someone who has been seeing clothing since she was little I can’t work out where the price point for the babydoll dress comes from. The only way I can validate that price is that not many of them are actually sold. Because let’s face it- it’s a fairly simple design. I recently fell in love with a linen cami. BUT I couldn’t validate the $50 price tag. ESP when I could see the construction (or lack of). These are things I often think about. A wedding gown - ooak. Luxury materials. Obviously worth more. Denim. At $200. No thanks. I think we should readjust the worth of things - know what goes in to producing an item. Cost per wear. Etc. and move away from insane consumerism.

I’ve been a fashionista since I was little as well and it’s mind blowing to me how we are trying to justify the sale of things for much more than it’s actually worth; especially when so much of this clothing is made in sweatshops with their prices inflated as a result of branding (especially for luxury brand)z
I've watched so many mystery bundles and all of them seem like a waste of money. I understand why the bundles are priced the way they are (time it takes to thrift, sort, style ECT)... but the buyer never seems thrilled with what they got. Honestly as a viewer I'm rarely thrilled with they got either. It just seems way more cost effective to purchase clothes you know that you like. Sure you might be getting more clothes in the bundles for the price (though I could go thrift an entirely new wardrobe for $370) however the risk of not liking most or all the clothes seems too high. The process of buying and opening the bundles looks fun, but actually owning the pieces seems like a big toss up 🤷🏻♀️

I absolutely loved the babydoll dress outfit. It was perfect with the accessories.
The other 2 outfits also looked great on you, but i loved the first 1 the most.
But i think you will going to find cute ways to style the beige dress and i think you can
color it black. The only thing you to find out before painting it are the stitches and if you can change their color.
Some stitches aren't possible to change the color. They stay the same color.
And probably you have to change the ribbon and find a black or maybe even red ribbon, but that won't be too difficult to find.
But maybe you will find a way to style the dress in this beige color and you are gonna like it the way it is.

Totally loyal subscriber here Alexa you are so gorgeous I have watched quite a few I girl bundles And while you styled them so gorgeously and your figure is so beautiful if I received these I would be really upset at the price point it is not justify the pieces and accessories you got. I could tell you were truly trying to be as positive as possible but from seeing so many of your videos I can tell when you’re super stoked and incredibly excited and when you are trying to be kind and optimistic. I am an avid Thrifter and reseller as are you and I know you choose far better and higher quality pieces all the time to me this fell flat. I really would’ve been upset. if it was maybe a $65 bundle then I would’ve been OK. I honestly think they need to do a little bit better. This was kind of basic. Aren't thrifted clothes second hand? Why the hell are they so expensive? Is it because people are now trying to capitalise off of a desire to "protect the environment"? I feel bad for poor people who rely on thrift/charity stores for good quality clothing for lower prices

You could definitely pair black accessories with the champagne colored corsette. I see it more as a fall and winter dress, wearing a black long-sleeved see-through under it with black tights and any of your great boots. You could even wear that headband with it! I think it would be worth experimenting with... I can even see it with a black gothic looking shawl. Just a thought!
I think we’ve been spoilt with fast fashion. I think we have also got used to rubbish quality stuff. So in that way we expect more for our money. I think second hand is often really overpriced. (I’ve had beautiful 70’s pieces that are made amazingly well for cheaper than you can find 90’s bits which were originally mass produced. It doesn’t make sense to me!) I’m ok with paying for craftsmanship. And quality. But as someone who has been seeing clothing since she was little I can’t work out where the price point for the babydoll dress comes from. The only way I can validate that price is that not many of them are actually sold. Because let’s face it- it’s a fairly simple design. I recently fell in love with a linen cami. BUT I couldn’t validate the $50 price tag. ESP when I could see the construction (or lack of). These are things I often think about. A wedding gown - ooak. Luxury materials. Obviously worth more. Denim. At $200. No thanks. I think we should readjust the worth of things - know what goes in to producing an item. Cost per wear. Etc. and move away from insane consumerism.

I’ve been a fashionista since I was little as well and it’s mind blowing to me how we are trying to justify the sale of things for much more than it’s actually worth; especially when so much of this clothing is made in sweatshops with their prices inflated as a result of branding (especially for luxury brand)z

I've watched so many mystery bundles and all of them seem like a waste of money. I understand why the bundles are priced the way they are (time it takes to thrift, sort, style ECT)... but the buyer never seems thrilled with what they got. Honestly as a viewer I'm rarely thrilled with they got either. It just seems way more cost effective to purchase clothes you know that you like. Sure you might be getting more clothes in the bundles for the price (though I could go thrift an entirely new wardrobe for $370) however the risk of not liking most or all the clothes seems too high.
The process of buying and opening the bundles looks fun, but actually owning the pieces seems like a big toss up 🤷🏻♀️
