I want to thank you for helping me think outside the box in sourcing fabrics and I want to say that I keep an eye out on my Free Alert notifications....I hit the motherload twice on this app once someone was giving away their grandma's costume jewelry collection (2 boxes full❤) and my latest was yesterday when I saw an ad for curtains and blankets and it turned out to be a resell store who gives away clothes and housewares, I ended up finding vintage lace curtains, vintage tablecloths, doilies, even an extremely old Christening gown for a baby ...........I couldn't believe it and I would have never considered it had I not watched your tutorials

I can tell a TMyers fashion/accessory immediately. Sometimes I wonder where the heck you're going with an item cause it's not looking that great and then you transform it into something really cool. Like the boho belt, I thought, "mmmmm, not sure about that"...kinda TOO much, but then u put it with that white skirt, and it all made sense. We have similar visions and I thank you for opening my eyes when I dont get it right away. That belt and skirt are amazing as it would also be with jeans. Pretty. Oh you got my creative brain spinning when you asked how else can they be used. I think theyd look pretty as wall art. You could have different colors & kinds and hang them over a curtain rod on the wall. Theyd be easy to see & select for wearing. At first I was going to say as a window valance or on a lamp shade but I wouldnt want them to get sun bleached in the window or burnt by a light bulb on the shade. I used to keep a scarf over my bedroom lamp shade to create different moods, but it was one i had a low watt bulb in & didn't leave on real long. It has to be watched like a lit candle. Soooo, you could do the same technique & make one specifically for a window valance or curtain & sew them on a plain curtain so you still have privacy. It would look cool to also add a strand of beads or shells which I've done to belts before. Now im circling back to the boho bags. Ok Tracy, see what you've done, lol. Ty for sharing love your videos. They are always inspiring!

Also running some satin ribbon along the inside of the waistband where the ties and top row are is great way to ensure you have something more solid to sew into rather than relying on the lace alone.
