"I got a new life, you would hardly recognize me, I'm so glad..." I certainty hope Linn is doing well and I wish her all the happiness in the world. The truth is, regardless of how ever anybody wants to spin it, AOB has never been nor will be the same once she departed. She was the main voice, soul, face and emotion in the group. Without her, they should just be called Base.
JONAS: Jenny was always the more active of my two sisters. As a little girl, she played Indians or football with us boys. I believe the role as the leading lady was never something she felt comfortable with. She is happy that she can stay in the background now, while Jenny can hardly wait to go on stage.
@@liebemeineabsminke Interesting, it's very strange that she does not perform with her sister, even rarely or something for the fans, as the people are the one's who buy their music.
She left the band because all they did was fight all the time and it was toxic for her. The other stories were excuses the label and her siblings made up for her absence. Jenny and Linn clashed because Jenny wanted to be the one in the spot light but with Linn being the one in demand that would never happen. When it was the 3 of them their album failed without her. They needed a new lead and of course Jenny wanted to be what she wasn't and Jonas and Ulf booted her and got two replacements. Jenny went solo and failed. Jonas and Ulf still trying to be DaftPunk except pushing outdated music failed with their two replacements. Seems Linn was the one with the magic that made AoB what it was. It's pretty clear when you learn about the whole story that Linn was miserable because she spent her time pleasing other people instead of pleasing herself and doing the songs and music she wanted to write and produce. Clive Davis wanted to give her a solo career but as toxic as things were with her and her siblings and all the infighting that would have destroyed her family for her to do that. So she left the music business to go make a life doing something else. Jenny rarely talks about Linn and she doesn't mention her by name and references her as though she is deceased in her mind. If you take that into account you can bet they probably still don't get along very well. Who knows how Jenny gets along with her brother Jonas after he booted her out the group. With Jonas Linn at least we can see he acknowledges her existence and mentions her time to time but oddly in past situations. Just seems like one of those things were if their family gets together they probably friendly so long as they don't bring up music.
I would agree that Linn was pulled in a lot of directions, but I've never heard the band was toxic to each other. Linn obviously doesn't want to be spoken about, and I'm betting Jenny is simply following her sister's wishes. Our urge to know about her doesn't override her desire to stay private. I agree the replacement girls and Golden Ratio were just cringey. But I liked Jenny's album and I don't think it flopped in the same sense as TGR did. I'd say Jenny is the most level-headed about her "clout" in life, while the boys are still chasing their glory days with (I agree) outdated music. It seemed to me Jenny was never under the delusion she'd dominate the charts with My Story, and I'd point out that she's the only one still working now. I agree all 4 of them together was where the magic happened, and that Linn's departure was the beginning of the end. However, I'm not inclined to foist so much blame on Jenny's head. The world wasn't exactly clamoring for new AOB music by that time. And I don't think it's fair to act like Jonas threw Jenny out on her ass, particularly when he's said almost the exact opposite.
@@Gazeld Yea your telling me. as that isn't a fact at all! I read your from France, love France- was last there late summer of 2019 when in Toulouse! + one of my fav Theme Parks, not just in Euroupe but the world is: Futuroscope + was only listening to some Mylène Farmer today! 😁
Of all the versions, I also adhere to this one, since it looks the most truth-like. As confirmation, Lynn only contacts Jonas, which he periodically mentions in his interviews. And never with Jenny.
Isn't it obvious? Linn got a new life. We would hardly recognize her, she's so glad. She saw the sign, and it opened up her mind, and she is happy now living without fame. She's left us, OH...UH-AH-OH!
From watching interviews with her it's obvious that she was quite shy and introverted, and not very comfortable with being in the spotlight. She probably got tired of all the promos and public appearances. I don't blame her. She did have talent and a lovely voice.
It is very easy to talk about the people without to know enough making our own interpretations. Your explanations only show an small part of the way that she has chosen to do the things, but not the causes. It was something very particular and all members have respected her privacy.

I was so disappointed when she disappeared, besides her beauty, her voice is unique and I couldn't believe she wasn't in the band anymore... I grew up listening ace of base (I'm from Amazonas/Manaus/Brazil)
She was definitely the face of the band and got A TON of attention - you have to understand that not everybody can handle that level of attention (or want the attention) and global fame that became of them. Then as we saw you had the FREAKS that would stalk her. I hope that wherever she is now she is doing safe and well. It's unfortunate that without her the band is no longer the same. But their music will always live on. They had a very unique sound and were probably the best thing to come out of the 90's.
Malin Berggren is has a lot of similarities with Agnetha Faltskog. Beside the point. After watching their story, I can see that Linn has never been comfortable being a frontwoman of the band. She was not even a member of Tech Noir in which Jenny, Jonas and Ulf are in. But all of the three Berggrens are somehow trained in music and do have talent. Malin wants to sing but not be a frontman. The sudden success of Ace Of Base plus add to the fact that she had a stalker (Jenny and Linn are drop dead gorgeous and had crush on BOTH) compelled Linn to act that way. I would like to believe she wanted out of the band or at the very least just be the band's songwriter and producer - just stay in the studio. Not all people can handle fame. Malin clearly cannot. But all I wish for her is I hope she found peace. And am also hoping she will set the record straight as closure for her fans....
It seemed like she enjoyed being in the band in the beginning. She seemed very different back then. Later on it was obvious that things had taken a negative turn and it didn't seem worth it to her anymore.
@@NewRockawayBeachLine no, Jonas Berggren her brother was actually the key figure of the band. Linn was just the front singer and most important voice. Jonas wrote the songs probably together with Ulf and maybe there were other producers involved I dont know but Linn was not very much involved in this I think...
@@CosmosZeroX Yes, Jonas wrote the songs and there wouldn't have been any Ace of Base music without him. Jonas has mentioned though that Linn made a significant contribution to 'All That She Wants' by suggesting a key change. Of course, she and Jenny were involved in the writing and production of many other songs as well. What I meant in my original comment is that Linn's voice brought the band to prominence. I love Jenny & I have a lot of respect for her talent, but Ace of Base has never been the same without Linn's full participation.
She's suffered from bad ptsd and anxiety with depression since that night when the woman with the knife broke into their house, it was extremely traumatic to her. you never know how it feels in someone else's shoes. I feel for her.
It's so heartbreaking. She was so beautiful & talented and we may never see her again 😭😭 I hope (dream) though that one day she emerges and gives us a show for the ages!!
As Jonas said on his commentary of Hidden Gems album, it is alway a pleasure to hear Lin´s voice and I alway enjoy every song where I can hear her singing. ·
I can't imagine the PTSD & overall pressure Malinn was under in knowing an attacker was coming for her but her sister stopped it, being the lead singer in the group as well as the predominant face of it. Not taking anything away from Jenny for she worked hard from her own stance in the group as did her sister. Jenny has a more delicate sound & higher range than her sister Malinn, but Malinn had more of a rougher pop sound & power in vocals that commanded your ear. Both were perfect together on many levels. In a lot of cases the group expressed in interviews that the success wasn't just almost instant but was overwhelming. Booking sold out shows, pressed to do re-recordings for live performances & in some cases only having enough time to tighten up the demos in performing. Both sisters were so beautiful there was not a need for dancers or such, because they could just sing & the crowd would be dancing. It's okay for a person to step back & re-evaluate their life & what they want out of it, even if it's coming from the international spot light. The world of fortune & fame has a heavy price tag in exchange for it.
okay I don't like some of the comments made. she came across to me as having had enough but trying to support the others, not to choose to do nothing. I don't blame her. I don't want to ever be famous but some of what I want to do in my life would require getting some attention. She has left the spotlight and hopefully her life has improved. Improvement (in case that is taken the wrong way) does not mean getting more fame and money but to feel more at ease with her existence and in her own skin. I enjoyed having her in the group (as a fan, I'm only a fan) but since fame seemed to be causing her distress I'm also glad that she got away from it. Where ever she is I hope she has found peace and happiness.
As Jonas said on his commentary of Hidden Gems album, it is alway a pleasure to hear Lin´s voice and I alway enjoy every song where I can hear her singing.
All aside. I always thought that Linn's odd behaviour and faded pictures made people more curious, it sparked interest. It made her a wanted figure and created this mystery. Fans did and still now hold her in a spiritual light like shes a goddess and they cannot let go. I mentioned this to Jonas and he agreed it actually made people focus on her more. I just hope she is happy and like many others I miss her artistry
But why is it that not a single photo of her has been leaked since 2002? The only explenation is that her appearance has changed beyond recognition, along with her name, hidden address, phone number and so on..
@@Gazeld nope. The albums were great when she was composing with them (The Sign and The Bridge). After she faded into the background Jenny tried very hard to be the band's main singer and they produced mediocre albums. By mediocre I mean not as good as their first two albums. Finally Jonas and Ulf discarded Jenny and got new singers. They produced mediocre albums too. Jenny tried solo albums and they were mediocre too Malin was the magic that made Ace of Base from good to great. It's too obvious and clear.
I wouldn't be surprised if Linn developed an anxiety disorder after experiencing such monumental success so quickly. She always seemed uncomfortable on stage, especially from 'The Bridge'-era onward.
As she sings in Ravine "Then one night, someone came. Took a knife and ripped it off by my roots. In my darkest hour I started to pray". And her joy will never be denied, because she's not going to let this one bad incident ruin her life.
It was Jenny who was attacked by a stalker in her parents home in Gothenburg. But the lunatic fan was looking for Linn who was not there at the time. This information has been published in a dozen different places so I don't know how you managed to get this so wrong. The fear of being a target of moronic fans is what accounts for Linns strange behavior and eventual departure after hiding in the background, refusing to do interviews, the sunglasses and blurred images, sneaking off stage.
I am 67 and I listen to just about any music from country to rock to classical. The video here on youtube that AoB do 2 songs live , i saw the sign and all that she wants. I have never seen anything like that before. I watched it over and over again. It is totally the best music video I have ever seen.
No mystery here. Linn didn't like being famous. It became to much and caused her distress.. So she chose a happier life end of.as long as she's happy that is all that matters. Amazing voice and a lovely lady
It amazes me how people who don't have social phobia, think they know lots about it. They don't, unless they've experienced it themselves. The same with Agoraphobia. So leave poor Malin alone. She'll recover when she's ready to. I don't always believe word-of-mouth.
It's strange then that we ask a doctor to cure a cancer, when this doctor did not have the cancer himself first. How can you trust him then, he doesn't know what he's talking about! PS : coming from someone who said a by mistake in other comments, speak of word-of-mouth... :D
After watching this, my personal opinion is that Linn had major issues with Jenny, something happened between the siblings and Linn got very offended. Malin had no problem being at the front, she enjoyed the spotlight, it is obvious from all the pictures she first took, she looks like she is playing with the camera, while Jenny didn't play with the camera as much. Jealousy is very serious thing. The band didn't gave the respect and recognition she deserved, so she left them, and taught them a lesson. Malin knew the recipe of their success, Malin as a front, Jenny as a helper, the males the main song writers, was the best chemistry. The rest of the band had a different opinion, and they were wrong, Jenny is not a star to be in the front, and while she is an OK singer, the chroma of her voice is not enough to make success. Malin didn't continue singing because she knew she wouldn't make it alone either, like I said, the recipe was only one.
I agree that Malin looked like she enjoyed being the lead singer but I hope you're wrong about there being jealousy with the sisters. I like to think that they are still very close like the way they were in interviews. They seemed to be like the best of friends, they even said they were close ever since they were small.
Linn did not enjoy being the lead performer (as we know till now) but fans badly wanted her to perform. On the other hand Jenny wanted to perform in front and Linn left the position to her. It seems like a triangle love tragedy!

As a race car driver,I can tell you,I too have experienced the sudden success of Fame,it is overwhelming and your constantly being tugged one way or another.i could not spread myself out enough for everyone that seemed like they needed me for appearances, autograph sessions, sponsor requirements,etc.etc.so what did I do,I RETIRED FROM IT and I've never looked back.I feel that malinn probably did the same.its a world of pressure lifted off your shoulders when you go from running warp 6 speeds to a smooth 55 mph...I can't imagine what all malinn went through in the music world, but we both can relate...I think malinn is a beautiful soul that just probably didn't like the constant go go go..I would love to see her an just talk to her one on one,but the nut job with the knife probably ruined that for her being able to trust or feel comfortable enough to talk to anyone outside of her circle..can't really blame her either..
Sounds like PTSD from the crazed fan developed into social anxiety and depression. Not a fun thing to live with as it pops up without warning, which would explain her getting escorted back stage right after a performance. She’s probably much happier out of the spot light.
Just for seeing some comments. Ace of Base, managed by Clive Davis... All makes sense now! Linn you did the right thing on disappearing from the trace of music industry.
Malin left because her apartment got broken into by a stalker and she had to constantly stay there for her own defense with someone with her. I saw this information on their official website. Unfortunately, since that time, Jenny broke away and made her own solo singing career. After that, Jonas and Ulf made the biggest mistake of their career and replaced Jonas' two sisters (Jenny and Malin) with two other girls. I haven't bought an album since that time :(
After the 27th of April 1994, when a German female fan attacked Jenny in the Berggrens’ house in Göteborg, injuring both Jenny and her mother with a knife, Ace Of Base goes by the rule “safety first”. Jonas: “We only go to public events with bodyguards nowadays. It might not seem very friendly, but it’s our only choice.” The band’s fear of a new attack has already claimed a victim: Malin Berggren (27). The blonde sister of Jenny and Jonas has suffered from a deep depression for a while now and barely dares to meet people. During the BRAVO interview, she kept quiet, and came to photos only reluctantly, with a frozen expression. Jenny tells us: “Malin never got over the attack. She would only like to make music and keep herself out of the limelight.
As with any famous person, they will attract their share of fruitcakes, it seems after the knife attack, the decline began, not just for Linn, but for the entire band, they are certainly much less than what they began as without her and we dont know, perhaps they had stalkers or people targeting just Linn? we dont know but I'm betting being the face of the band, the front person, was a lot to handle. I dont blame her for stepping back, but I do wish she would let us know what happened for sure, a book, a movie, a new album....even just a new single....anything to let her fans know she is ok as we all love her still....
I think the knife incident in 1994 at 1 : 39 that makes her trauma and slowly didn't appear on public and finally out from the band. but one thing for sure that she has a perfect beauty, like a princess of sweden ..
I liked Lynn and Jenny, I hope Lynn is happy and doing well. I know I'm dreaming when I say this but I hope she decides someday to come back to Ace of Base to do another album or two. She's such a nice lady and has a lot of class.

Good documentary. Please notice in a Norwegian study 68% of people are known to be introvert; if Linn wants to step back from artist career, its kind of sad but if she's and introvert i makes sense. What ever the reason I hope she got a good life and thanks for all the good songs Linn! And thanks for the overview @DiligentNatan
Your attempt to manufacture a mystery here has garnered you almost 18,000 views but there simply isn't one. Linn had a bad, bad experience with a crazed idiot and afterward no longer wanted to be in the spotlight fronting the band. The fear that the experience instilled, along with continuous problems with the label just forced her out. Success in popular music means plenty of promos, appearances and performances that she didn't want to be a part of. She doesn't owe anyone anything in the way of an explanation and the only truth telling that needs to be done is that as soon as she left, Ace Of Base started circling the drain.
9 лет назад+7
+Joe Palmer I totally agree. There is no mystery. People should just respect her decision. Agneta Fältskog had similar problems. What experience with a crazed idiot did Linn have?
+Torbjörn S. “Farbror Blå” Brandhill, I believe before the completion of 'The Bridge', a mentally ill fan with a knife broke into the Berggrens' family home looking for Linn.
The thing is that they always pull a random excuse from a pool they built over the years, and it's been also evolving over time. It has never been a specific thing and there was never a path, it was like "oh it's her voice, oh it's her energy now, oh actually it's the attacker", "oh he'll be with us but less performing", "oh nevermind she's not been part of the band since forever". The other thing is that Linn's behavior hasn't been consistent, instead, Linn sometimes was there, happy, smiling, sometimes it was the total opposite. These combined together trigger the bullshit sensor for anyone with some common sense. There, mister, is your mystery.
Yeah I agree with you. It is easy to dramatize it and make look like it happened over time but as you can see she willingly did the award show with Jenny. Then she goes quiet again. Then on Da Capo she randomly turns up for a performance when she didn't need to and stood still like a statue. We can say what we like but the facts are she simply wasn't happy in her role. We don't know really why but she just wasnt happy.
But Joe, "Ace of Base circling the drain" is the point. She was the band! She had an amazing career ahead of her both with AOB & as a solo artist. Also, it's one thing to leave the band to do something else, for example, raise a family, but to disappear for the better part of 20 years is pretty extreme. Yes, if we really love Malin, we have to let her to live her life as she chooses. However, it's especially sad because Jonas, Jenny, & Ulf really wanted to continue & excel! Jenny & Ulf contributed a lot to AOB, but IMHO Ace of Base succeeded because of Linn's singing & Jonas' songwriting.
Also As jonas pointed out. Clive Davis was the final straw especially the everytime it rains fiasco. By forcing her to do a song. Made linn quit the industry
@@squatch545 Linn didn't want to sing Everytime It Rains. Jenny did it, but the record company basically forced Linn to record it instead of her sister. She went to the studio, sang it through once, and then left.
The Lapponia thing with Linn has always annoyed and confused me. You've got one of the biggest bands in the world at the time, and instead of working with the lead singer, you just tell her no? You demand 101 things from her, but don't allow her this one thing? Ok, they had to hurry with The Bridge which is why they all wrote and produced their own songs, but it couldn't be on Flowers/Cruel Summer? Their unwillingness to compromise with the woman who was the main face of one of the biggest bands in the world at that time astounds me. Could've been a bonus track. Could've been a B-Side. Seems like there were a lot of ways to make everyone happy and the record company just didn't entertain any of them.
Linn had her reasons for leaving. Whatever the reason are, it isn't anyone's business. She doesn't owe anyone an explanation. I've been a fan since 93, and I respect her nonetheless. As Ulf stated, she has other priorities in life now. I'm sure she is much more content nowadays.
"I want to do what Jenny has done." Hmm, if that was the plan it didn't go well. She showed minimal enthusiasm for playing a secondary role, certainly in terms of promotion and live performances. She actually seemed less comfortable in this role than as the lead singer. If she had embraced it I think they could have had more success with this setup. The 3rd album actually did quite well in Europe (despite all the well-documented problems with record companies, promotion, Linn in the background etc.) Clive Davis may have hated their "Euro" sound but many people still liked the songs when they actually heard them.
They say that she had social phobia because a fan attacked in her house, he almost kills her. So that fits quite perfectly, I am sure she had panic attack and surely she developed things. It is perfectly logic. When I had panic attack I developed also phobia to groups of people, now I literally can't breathe when I have to read or talk in public, so I understand everything.
i Think its so sad that she choose just to leave the band just like that...it would have been much better if she recorded a video and explained why she choose to leave, i Think these speculations wouldnt be existing at all then
Sorry, but she is not obliged to do that. Maybe she sang for not to have fans, maybe she don't like to have crowd of fans, where half of them are stalkers and dirty minded persons, that all the time spreading everywhere, how "hot" she is. I think, she was too naive, and didn't know, how it works, how twisted people are. After incident in 1994, she find out, and left. She doesn't have to open herself when she have trauma or personal problems from it, because, when she tells about it, it is heard also by stalkers. So she left. Without a word. She have right to do that. She is not obliged to explain anything, because she didn't promise anything to fans... fans came after her, not opposite. She is also not obliged to explain personal problems to public. Feels bad, most of the person have problems to open even to one person, even psychologist. Not even to crowd filled with stalkers and dirty minded freaks, by which is this new civilization famous. It's worse and worse every generation, this after millenium is basicaly degenerates, dirty minded, obssesed with sex, twisted not trustworthy as human beings. I fully support her to leave, I would encourage her to leave even soon, not to be in background in 1996-2002 anymore, just leave. So she even did compromise to fans, by not leaving immidiately.
Ace Of Base is forever a group to me. Regardless of whoever is involved. It's an original concept that should forever be appreciated from the music itself. If Linn is in or not: that's her decision. For Linn has done enough in the Ace Of Base history; to never really owe anything else but the rejoice of the legacy she accomplished. It's such a group effort. The men involved have been music geniuses to get us shakin our bottoms to so many times. The women provided the vocal talent that's amazing and inspiring. Jenny's vocals is epic that's why she can still SLAY at them classics today. As for the men replacing them was a hurt to some fans; but Ace of Base is a brand n a machine. Whoever is involved makes an impact. So for Linn to ever step out should never be a problematic thing. More of a loyal goodbye as the rest move in in any formation. For no matter who is in the band now; or if ever Ace Of Base makes an OG comeback - The music they still have out is timeless and a life of it's own to this day.
Interesting video. Anyway, pity that she didn't make it. To be a Pop-Star. She is so cute or more like beautiful and she has a very clear voice - clear just like singer Marie Fredriksson in Roxette and Agneta in ABBA. Perhaps she will make a come-back liike Agneta in ABBA? We will see what the future bring...?
Yes, Malin’s behavior has incredible parallels w/Agnetha Faltskog. I think that introverts have REAL difficulty being the center of attention & coping w/a loss of privacy....it can become unbearable b/c it’s not WHO they are & subtracts from who they are. It may seem strange to others but as an introvert myself, I totally “get it.”
just because one person attacked Linn. and Linn became afraid and phobia to public , that she didn't want to be singer anymore and all the fans felt that lost her, and missing her. lost her beautiful voice lost her beautiful face lost her personality and she completely disappeared from the public, too bad

The world wasn't exactly clamoring for new AOB music by that time. And I don't think it's fair to act like Jonas threw Jenny out on her ass, particularly when he's said almost the exact opposite.
The Flowers album was not a flop at all, what you been smoking??

Love Malin. What a beautiful person inside and out. And such an amazing voice!
From watching interviews with her it's obvious that she was quite shy and introverted, and not very comfortable with being in the spotlight. She probably got tired of all the promos and public appearances. I don't blame her. She did have talent and a lovely voice.
What's the big mystery? She didn't like being famous so she fulfilled her contracts by doing the bare minimum until she could quit. Mystery solved!
Yeah yeah!
Yep. People are allowed to walk away from something that is draining them. She didn't want to be involved anymore, and that is that.

They had a very unique sound and were probably the best thing to come out of the 90's.
they were probably not the best thing to come out of the 90s.. But she was one of the most beautiful girls ever

Ace of Base was never the same after Linn stepped back.
однозначно
Most beutiful woman I have ever seen
She was the band.
It seemed like she enjoyed being in the band in the beginning. She seemed very different back then. Later on it was obvious that things had taken a negative turn and it didn't seem worth it to her anymore.
TRUE
She was so beautiful & talented and we may never see her again 😭😭
I hope (dream) though that one day she emerges and gives us a show for the ages!!
I Love Linn, forever! God bless you forever.
As Jonas said on his commentary of Hidden Gems album, it is alway a pleasure to hear Lin´s voice and I alway enjoy every song where I can hear her singing.
Together they are unstoppable. Hypnotic is the word that best describes this band.
The Soul of Ace of Base is Lin. No Lin, No Ace of Base..
однозначно.
She's an amazing artist. Imagine how big AOB & her solo career could have been had she remained in the music industry!
But why is it that not a single photo of her has been leaked since 2002? The only explenation is that her appearance has changed beyond recognition, along with her name, hidden address, phone number and so on..

@@Gazeld nope. The albums were great when she was composing with them (The Sign and The Bridge).

True 👍
I agree that Malin looked like she enjoyed being the lead singer but I hope you're wrong about there being jealousy with the sisters. I like to think that they are still very close like the way they were in interviews. They seemed to be like the best of friends, they even said they were close ever since they were small.

Wherever you are Linn... I love you😙
Sounds like PTSD from the crazed fan developed into social anxiety and depression.

I haven't bought an album since that time :(
Do you have a link to this info?
After the 27th of April 1994, when a German female fan
attacked Jenny in the Berggrens’ house in Göteborg, injuring both Jenny
and her mother with a knife, Ace Of Base goes by the rule “safety
first”. Jonas: “We only go to public events with bodyguards nowadays. It
might not seem very friendly, but it’s our only choice.” The band’s
fear of a new attack has already claimed a victim: Malin Berggren (27).
The blonde sister of Jenny and Jonas has suffered from a deep depression
for a while now and barely dares to meet people. During the BRAVO
interview, she kept quiet, and came to photos only reluctantly, with a
frozen expression. Jenny tells us: “Malin never got over the attack. She
would only like to make music and keep herself out of the limelight.

I completely can understand her
As with any famous person, they will attract their share of fruitcakes, it seems after the knife attack, the decline began, not just for Linn, but for the entire band, they are certainly much less than what they began as without her and we dont know, perhaps they had stalkers or people targeting just Linn? we dont know but I'm betting being the face of the band, the front person, was a lot to handle.
The irony; a lot of people would kill to become rich and famous, she got it but didn't want it.

Netflix should do a doc film about her
Ace of Base without Linn is not Ace of Base... This simple!
another main factor. is Clive Davis. she was happy. but he forced her to record Everytime it Rains. that is why she left
Robert Price Clive Davis is responsible for a lot of why Ace of Base is no longer relevant. Damn that Davis dude!
although this was an addition to the breakdown, i think Davis insistance on Linn singing that song was right, its my favourite song of theirs
Also As jonas pointed out. Clive Davis was the final straw especially the everytime it rains fiasco. By forcing her to do a song. Made linn quit the industry
Huh?

Linn💞♥️💞
I agree with you. Maybe she felt that it was too much (who knows).
How rude and wrong to say that Jenny did nothing during Happy Nation and The Bridge albums.
She is married and living happily at her native town in Sweden .
Nobody knows but her family
That's a nice thought and I hope it's true.
She's not married but she has a common-law partner.
she saw the sign, it opened up her mind, she saw the sign
As she said early in her aob period: " i wanted to sing, but i never wanted to be a singer".
So sad, something was obviously wrong, I just hope she is happy now in her life
i Think its so sad that she choose just to leave the band just like that...it would have been much better if she recorded a video and explained why she choose to leave, i Think these speculations wouldnt be existing at all then
Sorry, but she is not obliged to do that.
She lit up the stage in '93 & it looked like Ace of Base would be around for decades...😪
That show in Riga though...Riga forever!
She really was gorgeous in her 20s. / Wie war wirklich hinreißend in ihren 20ern.
