But if Jenny had have sang ATSW in the beginning th song still woulda been a banger. If you listen to their 3rd and 4th album you can hear Jenny has the better vocal. But Linn's tone has something magic.

Linn had an incredibly dark quality to her voice that suited the moody vibe of the first album so well. That combined with her natural fast vibrato made her sound unlike anyone else I've heard. Jenny sounded much more like a typical pop singer and I don't think they'd have had the same level of success if it had all been her. Sounds harsh but I think they all knew it in their heart of hearts, otherwise they would have let Linn leave much earlier.
Agreed. Unfortunately for the rest of the crew, without Linn, they would have never achieved the level of success they did. Without Linn they just aren't Ace Of Base. It's sad that Linn called it quits. It's happened to many other bands. The lead singer quits and the bands slips into oblivion.
For the rest of the world fans, OAB is [4]-Ever.. Each voice is unique and that made them a special group band. Jenny and Linn is the Ace. The guys are the Base. Feel blessed to know and enjoy their music..

Yeah makes you feel kinda bad. Jenny doesn’t sound awful or anything but Linn is the Ace of Base sound - it’s almost tragic Linn wants nothing to do with it but she’s the best singer, Jenny wants all of it but just doesn’t have the sound of Linn
You only think this because of The Sign and ATSW. These songs were belters and if Jenny had of taken the lead you would be saying the opposite because it wouldn't feel natural to you. Jenny is the better and more invested singer, but Linn has very special and unique tone. Neither of these girls chose their talents so just enjoy what they did!
To be completely honest, I always liked Jenny's voice better. Linn is great, but she didn't enjoy in this. In my opinion, she never has had to be a band member, just a 2nd singer from the very beginning. That will be enough for her - as she said: she just love singing, but not to be a singer. This was a torture for her.
@@rayva1 It's not that strange. I have suffered from depression and anxiety. It makes you withdraw from things, and can be on and off (Malin would do some interviews and not others). The fan who attacked Jenny and their parents with a knife was looking for Malin. That would have caused anxiety for anyone. I think ultimately Linn had the most artistic nature of them all, extremely sensitive and emotional, not suitable for fame.
