Both sister's are gorgeous, it's just with Malinn she's so mystifying & such a gentle soul you can just tell in hearing her when she sings, talks, & in interviews. Plus she was placed as the lead singer in the group so more including me could identify with her, her energy, & vocals aside from her sister Jenny who sounds similar to Malinn but has a higher range & compliments Linn's voice well in back-up vocals & harmonies. :-)

22 years ago and i still love her. There must have been some kind of cosmic mistake. Her voice, her singing, her face, her genuine sweetness, all in one package--Linn was too good for the pop music industry, or for us. We were fortunate to have had her at all, let alone for so long (although with someone like her, it can never be long enough, I know). The pop stars we get now are to make up for this karmic imbalance--those and Auto-Tune just because we had it way too good with Linn, but any price would be worth it.
PS: With Jenny also in the equation, we have one heck of a deficit to pay off. We can expect to have a lifetime of additional Britney Spearses and Miley Cyruses and their ilk now, but like I said, it's worth it. :)
@@rbrtck : I kid you not, I had a dream a few months back & it was seriously word to mouth & you would have had to have just been there at the right time & had a spot available but Ace of Base with the original Berggren Sister's of Jenny & Malinn were once again back in the group for a one time, one night special performance only. It was wild because it was like they hadn't aged really, but you knew they were older. They sounded great together still & the (barn) that this was in was not only Huge but packed! Everyone was enjoying themselves & just before the performance there was a meet & greet with the band members as you could briefly talk to each in between pictures. Jenny was very out going & so was there brother (Joker) & Ulf, but Malinn was still kind of shy & reserved but very friendly & respectful. That dream was so vivid & a trip all at once, but we all knew including me that after that night of hit live songs, that was IT. It was as if Ace Of Base was saying their formal farewell to the fans that loved them the most, LIVE. :-(
I think it's so cute how Linn sang "All That She Wants" like she would to herself instead of trying to put on a show with her professional singing voice. :)
She was extremely beautiful, polite and humble. She was a pop star but she didn't act like all these arrogant singers nowadays. I really miss that innocent music era.
What was Linn struggling with, though? Ulf, at the time, said that he couldn't tell that anything was wrong with her when they talked. He just said that she had become "camera-shy," which along with other evidence from that period leads me to believe that she had developed agoraphobia. She didn't want to perform live (be seen in public), didn't want to appear in videos or TV interviews, and didn't want to be photographed (unless the photos were blurred), but talking on the phone is different, and she could feel relaxed. Hopefully Linn has managed to get over this condition since then (it's treatable with time and effort). This wouldn't mean that she'd want to come back, however, as she really doesn't want to be famous anymore anyway.
In my idea, now the world needs linn more than 90's There is so many wars and bad news in the world now and linn can help people by her art, magic voice and peaceful message (in my imaginations, i see Malin as UN Ambassador for Peace) 💐 what a beautiful wish

Guys… now our beautiful Linn Berggren sings every Sunday in the church in Gothenburg. She have got a lot more slimmer and her voice hasn’t changed a bit. Fun Fact: The church is 2 blocks away from my house😅.
It was called "Da Capo" and was released in Europe and Japan, so if you're American (all of the Americas, I think) or Australian or whatever, then you probably missed it (unless you looked for imports).
Linn is doing fine, as far as I've ever heard, and is still living in Gothenburg, Sweden--she just doesn't want to be famous, and really never did. I think she mostly did the Ace of Base thing for her brother and sister, although it wasn't all pretend because she loved to sing. When she had finally had enough of that business and their record sales weren't that great anymore, she decided that the band didn't need her anymore, so she left and reclaimed her normal, private life. Some famous singers never leave the business, even long after they are past their prime, because they need the attention or the money, but Linn doesn't need those. It's sad for the fans, but she has a right to live her life in the manner she wants. Thank you, Linn, for sharing your gift with us for years. :) Now go live the life you really wanted all along.
