I hit adulthood as ACE of Base started developing and hit the charts. I graduated college in 1993, got my first new car and had their CD playing as one of my favorites. I got married in 1998 and became family focused with kids who are now in college. I'm the same age as Linn or close, I think I saw that somewhere. I'm getting nostalgic seeing these videos of them and I'm going to get a copy of their CD's. I'm back to the same weight I was in my 20's, and jogging 5k's three times a week to stay healthy. All this is making me remember and appreciate the good times of the past.
In my idea, now the world needs linn more than 90's There is so many wars and bad news in the world now and linn can help people by her art, magic voice, kind heart and peaceful message (in my imaginations, i see Malin as UN Ambassador for Peace) 💐 what a beautiful wish

Most likely they were based on Linn's original plan to teach after finishing college (same as Jenny), but then Ace of Base of course changed her plans. If teaching were truly her calling, then Linn might have resumed that career path for personal satisfaction, but on the other hand if she just viewed it as a good job, then she almost certainly would not pursue it because she has more than enough money to live on. The only job listed for her alias is director of the company she created as a tax shelter, so I'm pretty sure that she is not a teacher. As for college, the word at the time of her leaving the band was that Linn had returned to college, and while this rumor has more corroboration, whether she went just to study some subjects she liked or to complete her education with a degree is less certain. None of the band members are hardcore academic types, as far as I know, although Linn is known to read a lot more than the rest of them (spends a lot more time quiet and alone, and reading is one of the main things she does with that time), so out of all of them, it is at least most likely that Linn would be the one to go back to school, if any. why did the critics write bad about the band in their native country? I dont get it. I mean they should be happy and grateful instead. If we in my country had such band they could run for Prime Ministers

The Berggren siblings--Linn, Jenny, and Jonas--helped Ulf straighten himself out, along with his newly discovered drive to write and produce songs.

He had publicly renounced this part of his past many times, but it kept getting brought up for a while. All the Berggrens could do was tell everyone that this was not the Ulf they knew, and eventually it was dropped. I'm sure the media would have loved to hear about him getting kicked out or something like that, since they live for drama, but it wasn't happening. If only they had been aware of the circumstances around Jenny getting kicked out many years later, but by then they probably didn't care anymore (it wasn't anything that Jenny did wrong, as far as I'm aware, but sadly there was a limit to the loyalty of these friends and siblings). By the way, despite Ulf stating how naive and stupid he had been and that Nazis and racism are evil, he still named the band after a Nazi thing. "Ace of the base" (originally in German, obviously) was a title given to the most successful U-boat commander at one particularly notorious German submarine base during World War II. I don't think there is any hidden meaning, just that Ulf liked how it sounded, and I seriously doubt that the other band members know what it means. Hardly anyone does. I only know about it through a British-produced WWII documentary that I watched on PBS several years ago. I was very surprised when I heard that term, and immediately thought of Ulf's past, which I myself had long forgotten about at the time.
