Yeah, please stop those awful social media videos or videos on some scrubs that noone cares about. Body building history is at least interesting and at least indicative on what an aesthetic body looks like. All these recent olympia athletes just look awful.
I remember in 1993 a few months before the Olympian in Flex magazine there was a black and white photo shoot of him in the gym what a change from 92 to 93 it was such a psychological coup; all of those who saw those photos just realized they were competing 4 second place it was just a glimpse of the monster that was to show up on the Olympia stage 1993
ALL this mass monster madness started with Yates, Yates is TOTALLY not to be saluted and there is literally blood on his hands for bringing bodybuilding to that disgusting level and for promoting MASS over aesthetics. On the other hand, MIKE OHEARN IS THE most AESTHETIC GENETIC FREAK! OMG THE FROGMAN!
The greatest bodybuilder of all time. People have looked better and had better genetics but absolutely nobody worked as hard or studied bodybuilding and the human body like big Dorian. True legend.
I liked him better at 269 without the competition conditioning. I think they all look worse at like 5% BF than at 10%. But that VHS footage of him, wow. Amazing.
He was a mass monster but still didnt have distended pregnant gut like todays bodybuilders have. His conditioning was also in another league unlike today
By far the best bodybuilder different level. Had everything against him genetics, background etc yet he ruled the most talented era of them all. Him and Leroy Davis built an unbeatable body on Yates.
Mr Game Changer himself! A man that's been through a real life journey of self awareness. Glad to see that he made a great mark for the UK in bodybuilding!
Bodybuilding was so exciting back in those days (1992-2001ish) without all the social media bullshit, etc. Make more videos about this golden era of bodybuilding (imo) bro. Best calves of all time by the way. No wonder Flex got calf implants.
Exhorder man miss those times...when I became a teen and was into the magazines. And I don't know on your calves statement. Mike Matarazzo's were pretty sick!
Dorian had 18 inch forearms. Let that sink in. His arms looked really good in that coloured posing footage. His greatest shape ever was a few weeks out in '93
I know a lot of people hate Dorian for harboring the age of "mass monsters," but imo he is the only mass monster that ever looked good. If I had to choose a physique of any pro bodybuilder to be the basis for a superhero, Greek God, etc, I would choose Dorian's.
Lui I'm a fan of yours since your bird watching days on RUclips. I love these new Mr. Olympia 90's recaps. They bring back such good memories. This I must salute! Propahhhh!!!
Dorian said in an interview with London Real that it was difficult for him to walk because he was so conditioned that the fat on the soles of his feet were basically gone.
luimarco love the commentary your always spot on except for the exaggeration of Lee Labrada dwarfing Dorian lol that really tickled me.keep up the good work Bro.
Lui the way you comment all these vids is simply amazing, you really know how to spark sensation. Ever though of becomming a professional sports commentator?
Bro lui do you think you could do a history of bodybuilding series? Like eugene eandow - modern day or something like that. A video like this for every decade maybe? Propaahhh salute on a daily tho
No other Mr Olympia looks as good as Dorian in 1993. Absolutely the best combo of size and conditioning. Heath could probably duplicate if he wanted to.
I remember picking up the flex mag , I think it was flex , and opening up the black and white pages , like wtf , everything just changed , amazing vid .
Yes in the front double bi, you have to look at every mandatory pose to determine who should win, and Dorian won, but I think it's more because of politics
I'll be doing a time lapse drawing video of Dorian Yates when he won the 1993 Mr Olympia doing a front lay spread when he brought in the new era of the MASS MONSTERS
The best ever simply because of the era done it all himself no nutritionist just a school book for notes that he made and he was poor so not eating the best stuff available and last but not least all done from a tiny underground gym in Birmingham hale yates
I wonder where bodybuilding would be today if Dorian hadn't come along. His achievements were colossal but I think the changes weren't for the best. BTW - This was all going down when I first got into weight training and I remember it well. I'm 43 in a few days and still training so it's kind of trippy to see someone from that era coming back today (Levrone). As much as I want to see him bring it to the current guys, I just don't know. Even the top 5 guys today would have had his measure in his prime.. Great vid L U I
Dorian idolized Haney, he says an interview, he watched how haney was bigger and more peeled each olympia and that was Haneys secret for 1st place. Dorian in 93 changed from a high volume training style to a much lower volume with unbearable intensity. Charles Glass had the same philosophy in the 90s with HIT.
he never trained in high volume. And there was nothing different in his trainings between 92 and 93. The secret was that he overdieted for the 92 MR O. and lost the major gains he did after 91. So 93 was the result of two years offseason gains. Dorian himself admitted that
I love this kind of video Lui ! Will you make a video on Paul Dillett ? Even if he was the worst poser he always mesmerized me. And, salutations depuis la France !
I'm going to go out and say that Dorian was one of the first to utilize insulin effectively to gain size along with high doses of hgh. His waist got thicker also which is common with high dose insulin and hgh. He did a great job keeping the conditioning though, and is one of my all time favs. Take note that the following mr.O, all the guys came in way bigger from starting to use insulin. Now this is just a staple in the regime.
That's not necessarily true. Dorian talks openly about exactly what he used, when, and how much. He started with insulin only after 1993 (commonly thought his best year), and he said it made it much harder to achieve conditioning he liked as well as increasing the midsection "block-y-ness." So I wouldn't say he used it effectively, and he didn't like it in general.
He had granite looking muscles! I'm hoping we get to see this again in 2022 ...
Love this kind of video, these is the LUI signature, absolutely salute
they are propahhhh indeed
Yeah, please stop those awful social media videos or videos on some scrubs that noone cares about. Body building history is at least interesting and at least indicative on what an aesthetic body looks like.

The original and still most conditioned mass monster 23 years later
Best back in history of Bodybuilding!
Dorian the best bodybuilder ever!!!
Ronnie
Yes Dorian is the best.
We love you for these kind of videos bro. Keep them coming!
The greatest bodybuilder of all time. People have looked better and had better genetics but absolutely nobody worked as hard or studied bodybuilding and the human body like big Dorian. True legend.
Dude..I can watch this all day..dude looks amazing. He would win any award..Damn!!!!!
I liked him better at 269 without the competition conditioning. I think they all look worse at like 5% BF than at 10%. But that VHS footage of him, wow. Amazing.
He was much heavier than 270 in 6 weeks out
He was a mass monster but still didnt have distended pregnant gut like todays bodybuilders have. His conditioning was also in another league unlike today
Big as f*** with definition and no gut. The ultimate bodybuilder.
Dorian is STILL MY FAVORITE Mr O. Ronnie doesn't come close IMO. Ronnie was bigger, but not aesthetic.

Dorian had 18 inch forearms. Let that sink in. His arms looked really good in that coloured posing footage. His greatest shape ever was a few weeks out in '93
+luimarco your youtube channel is like a history book of bodybuilding... propahhh
0:35 look at Levrone's left shoulder.. Most insane delts i have ever seen. WTF
ikr
Yeah, it's pretty much Heath and Levrone (maybe Roelly now too) that compete for the best delts ever. The way those shoulders pop is absolutely crazy.
Levrone's 95' Classic is his best IMO.
Markus Ruhl delts were far more impressive
Erick H. Ewww no they were filled with oil
I have never seen anyone that looked like he was carved out of stone but Yates, a unique physique with mind-boggling conditioning
jay cutler
I know a lot of people hate Dorian for harboring the age of "mass monsters," but imo he is the only mass monster that ever looked good. If I had to choose a physique of any pro bodybuilder to be the basis for a superhero, Greek God, etc, I would choose Dorian's.
agreed me to
+Cameron J. Hentz Kevin looks like a little kid next to Dorian.
Lui I'm a fan of yours since your bird watching days on RUclips. I love these new Mr. Olympia 90's recaps. They bring back such good memories. This I must salute! Propahhhh!!!
One of the best commentary in the history of man kind!
Dorian yates one of the best bodybuilders ever.
No one will ever achieve the change that Dorian Yates bought in to the game!! Forever the mass monster!
Lui thanks for that rare footage of mr Yates posing in his dungeon gym . Not seen that ever . Thank u so much sir. Rarityyyy on a dailyyyy
Dorian said in an interview with London Real that it was difficult for him to walk because he was so conditioned that the fat on the soles of his feet were basically gone.
He aged 5-10 years in 1 year,he defo took hgh,no bullshit yates,ur still great.
the special thing about Yates is he looked hard as a bodybuilder how it's supposed to look...not buffed up and soft!!!
Prah .. Prah .. Propahhhh. I Salute U From UK luimarco.
I love Doran he's a British icon and his training was insane
Please keep doing this things!!!
His back is just incredible.... Calves ridiculous...Incredible physique
luimarco love the commentary your always spot on except for the exaggeration of Lee Labrada dwarfing Dorian lol that really tickled me.keep up the good work Bro.
It is the best video you have made
Those calves were insane
Lui the way you comment all these vids is simply amazing, you really know how to spark sensation. Ever though of becomming a professional sports commentator?
Dorian Yates, the best of the best of the best!!!
King Hannibal lmao 2001,2002,2005 were gifted Olympia’s
Bro lui do you think you could do a history of bodybuilding series? Like eugene eandow - modern day or something like that. A video like this for every decade maybe? Propaahhh salute on a daily tho

nicely done. think the man who showed him propaah training techniques and rest deserves a long overdue video rest his soul mike mentzer
This video made me feel so sorry for being born in 1992. We younger guys lost so many great moments of the bbing history.
We need more of this kind of video LUI on a daiiilllly!!!!! Baby please!!!!
Insulin and HGH changed the game NOT DORIAN
Dorian won in 1991 in my opinion
Prodr1978 his legs and back and conditioning was just much better
No other Mr Olympia looks as good as Dorian in 1993. Absolutely the best combo of size and conditioning. Heath could probably duplicate if he wanted to.
Damn, Lui should be invite to comment live bodybuilding contests. brilliant commentary
I remember picking up the flex mag , I think it was flex , and opening up the black and white pages , like wtf , everything just changed , amazing vid .
Flex never had this glutes and hamstrings, condition and back.

This video like all the rest...was....Prah..Prah...Propahhh! Thank you the great L.U.I
There's an interview where yates talks about getting so low on body fat that the soles of his feet hurt to walk around, has to be somewhere around 3%
Look at the calves!!!
wtf 5:48 Dorian got smoked by Nasser
AGREEEEED!!
Dorian was smaller yes but he was also sharper. Just look at how smooth Nassar is by direct comparison.
Not from the back those which is a third of the mandatory poses
Yes in the front double bi, you have to look at every mandatory pose to determine who should win, and Dorian won, but I think it's more because of politics
Nasser had no outline/shape. He was just big mass. Like a refrigerator
Please give proper..., respect to the genius of Dr. Aurthur Jones and his high intensity training with low volume and more rest.
Dorian is my favorite right after Arnold. Both changed the Iron sport like no other.
Is the Dorian Yates blood and guts workout to be saluted?
Bubble?
butt?
This is the mass aesthetic, symmetry, condition. ......, not the shit disgusting Ronnie "King gut" Coleman. Ronnie The real king of bubble guts.
does luimarco+ salutes gaming?
I'll be doing a time lapse drawing video of Dorian Yates when he won the 1993 Mr Olympia doing a front lay spread when he brought in the new era of the MASS MONSTERS

Dorian at this 269 would stilllll be Mr. Olympia today.
More videos Ike this please
I wonder if he got like that natural . I'm consuming so much top ramen and hyphy cakes to get to 265 7 % body fat
We only had the magazines before the internet. We could rent pumping iron from the video store but that was about it.
Haney had no calves
Artemis Ares 100% true. Surprising to me that bodybuilders rarely have sick calves. Same with forearms
he never trained in high volume. And there was nothing different in his trainings between 92 and 93. The secret was that he overdieted for the 92 MR O. and lost the major gains he did after 91. So 93 was the result of two years offseason gains. Dorian himself admitted that
On a Dailyyy Mr. Luiiii
