if you have the slowbro from cinderace's raid, u can do the same setup to greninja(252hp/252sp.atk @ leftovers), no tera needed, just know that grej will cancel your buffs on turn 3, so u need to do 4x iron defence instead, one slack off at turn 3 should allow you to survive until the end
Yep, I beat the raid first try with slowbro set up. I just used slack off until he cancelled wiped the stat boosts then set up exactly the same as the Cinderace raid. I did get lucky with a crit on my second stored power but it went much more smoothly than I was expecting!
The best strat for slowbro is to not attack at all for the first 20 seconds. You don't get hit and it seems greninja clears buffs at the IRL 20 second timer regardless, and doesn't do it again. From there you can start stacking buffs for stored power, using slack off when you get over the night slash crit threshold.
I used this build, but with the Bold nature so Night Slash has to try harder to faint Stockpile 3 Gastrodon for the bonafide tank & spank experience since I never used Stockpile until the stat dispel was over, since the Gastrodon I used was the one that traveled with me throughout my playthrough and it deserves to be as survivable as possible.

Gastrodon is fantastic, i love how he gets free buffs from hydro pump lol. If you haven't already you should try the slowbro build we used for cinderace but replace life orb with shell bell its very powerful.

My gastrodon was originally water and I tried it with that but gunk shot did too much damage so that ground resistance helped a bunch and the extra added power to earth power was noticeable. It might be possible with water if you save your three stockpiles for after Greninja nullifies buffs but I really recommend ground
I haven't seen Slowbro, but I think you're spot on if it's like Cinderace. I feel like I can win every time I try this with Gastrodon now that I know what to do. But it's definitely slow

I had prepared a Klefki for this but I was getting pretty disappointed with it because I couldn't get to make it work properly, it wouldn't even bring Greninja to orange health. I used this Gastrodon and he did the job very well, I caught Greninja on my third attempt with it (RNG played against me on the first two tries).
That's not a great nature because you are lowering your special attack, you can go to a chansey store and buy a modest mint and you'll be all good. You might still be able to do it, but if you're having trouble I suggest getting that mint and trying again

Buy a Mirror Herb in that town with the water gym (either in the Delibird Store or the Chansey Store there, can't remember). Let your Gastrodon hold the Herb and make it forget one of its moves. Put a Pokémon with Clear Smog in your party (alongside Gastrodon) and go on a picnic (just start the picnic and immediately quit picnicing). Gastrodon will now have copied Clear Smog. The Mirror Herb basically lets a monster learn any of its available egg moves without having to find compatible breeding partners and hatching eggs and stuff.
@@IamAncient No problem. As far as I know the game doesn't tell you about Mirror Herbs' secondary effect and they're only found in one store, so spread the word.
Slowbro still works from last raid for this one iron defense nasty plot stored power and slack off to heal with a life orb first use iron defense a couple times then use stored power he should clear stats then go on about your business stacking stats and healing as needed till stored power takes him out in about 2 hits I love greninja sucks he's been utterly neutered his ability and ash greninja is dead still love my boy though

I think he still used other moves with about the same average use just tried using hydro pump a little more often since its the only super effectove choice it has but fails cause absorbed. Just used ice beam less since its not super effective.
You have to unlock 6 star raids first, so you have to beat the game and I think you have to beat the post game and do a few 5 star raids, but you can join other people's raids I think. A bunch of people will be streaming it today. Get a Pokemon ready and see if you can join a raid!
Drove me crazy with the cinderace raid. People were too thirsty nuking him with stored power in the first few turns, when using chilling water to start and after he did the Stat debuff, THEN doing the stored power strat NEVER failed.
Did using Chilling water then stored work Solo or did you need a squad? I felt like I was struggling more than the average person on solo Slowbro raids and I didn't know why

I would use stored power twice to build up your terra and one shot

I've been trying the same thing but if I get down to the last hit I miss, and have had pretty rough luck getting crit by shadow claw.

I’ve been using stored power vaporeon and ive yet to faint after 15 raids, although it is really slow and uses almost the entire timer

I used gatrodon in a group raid as support. Spammed mud slaps 3 turns had greninja missing almost every attack. Teraslize and used earth power.

I actually have a Vaporeon I made a bit ago. Just happened to use Gastrodon first. Might try out that Vaporeon moveset too!

I used slowbro and soloed it. Too easy. Best to play by yourself than with people.
If you have a good strat alone it’s definitely better to go solo since cpu kos don’t do anything
