since i started watching this series last year i've learnt sm about random battles and predictions in general and today i managed to hit 2k elo on the random battles ladder coz of that which is the highest ive ever gotten on any ladder, assuming you wont see this but thanks man. thanks for all the kind replies everyone i was having a really rough time when i commented this and it helped
I think my favorite thing about the series is he TEACHES so much about Pokémon. How Pokémon are played. How to play around threats. How to think about comebacks. Everything. He should really think about coaching
If I had to teach a friend how to play pokemon with one series, it would be this one. Just by watching for a while I've gone from very low ladder (1100) to recently hitting 1600
@@Wither1224i completely agree with you, on the gen8 randbats ladder i was stuck around the 1700s, and this gen i improved so much watching freezai, i managed to get top 300 a while back
This was some CLEAN gameplay yeah i agree eith usinh rabsca over revaroom at the end since if korraidon is locked in it gets a kill and if its not revsroom comes out after perfectly clean

they need to take a ranbat match and make a anime with it. imagine the inner monolog just like these and the constant switching would be funny. plus i just can see a frostlass coming in with heavy duty boots and theyre just floating under her
That it such a rough patch to get out of and I've no idea why. It's like, the eternal purgatory point for fantastic players with ladder decay and bad, weird players who make no predictions and no right plays and get rewarded for it.
i am pretty sure the firs guy switched to his lucario just because he was confused coz braviary cant tuch brambelghast it gets wind rider making it immune to flying type moves and ghost type makes it immune to boddy press and shit
Tbh I want to see what a run looks like without all that extra assistance. Like knowing what moves are likely to be on a mon is a super big advantage. Honestly it kinda feels like cheating.

Dramatic increase in mentality from the previous episodes. Yes you had better luck and matchups, but you were catching yourself before you made tilt or greedy plays.
As someone who has won games based off of Luvdisc alone, the Luvdisc trash talk hurts... In all seriousness, it is genuinely pretty good with charm (which in my opinion is its best 4th move) and the wish healing, and surf iss decent chip. It depends on the team, but a overwhelmingly physical team can end up crippled thanks to Luvdisc (though, to be fair, it was significantly better with scald instead of surf)
The Luvdisc is objectively the worst Pokemon in randbats. It has the current #1 lowest winrate by a significant margin (42.05%; everything else other than Delibird is within two percentiles of average) and is already Lv 100 so it can't even be buffed in future without rebalancing everything else. That's not the same as it being useless, and there are some matchups where it can have high value. But overall it is one of the few Pokemon in RB that is genuinely inherently bad.

As someone who’s hardstuck 1700-1800s it’s been great to watch these and get better
Update: Finally got to 2024 :)

1700’s-1800’s is a dungeon that’s extremely hard to get out of, but once your break through it you become a significantly better player.
@@altair2843i'm very very slowly getting out of 1800s and getting into 1900s, but when I face 2000+ elo people I still get decimated
