    It is a good idea for people to visit Mainland China, regardless of whether for business or for leisure. Hong Kong was used to be the only city in China that westerners go to. Recently, there have been too many violent protests in Hong Kong. Tourists are not recommended to stay in Hong Kong. I personally recommend transiting through Hong Kong to Macau, Shenzhen and Zhuhai (a city in Guangdong province) by the relatively new Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Shenzhen Bay Bridge, which is part of Asian Highway 1. Then, they can visit Shanghai and Beijing.

    Cool Video Gabe, yes the RX100 does come out a lot better than the GoPro at night... I just recently purchased the Canon EOS M50.. Same deal with that, much better at night... BUT.. The stabilization is nowhere near as good as the GoPro especially when walking.. My latest Video I used the Canon, it came out ok just not overly pleased with it's stability. Needs a Gimble. Safe Travels.. :) EDIT : I just realised my Video I only had IS Stability on.. Had Digital IS - Disabled. That might be the reason my footage was a bit shaky.. Will try it enabled see how I go :)

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  5 лет назад +1

      I see, I'll have to look for that on my Sony and see if there's a way to improve the stability. Thanks for the tip.

    • @TheHuski
      @TheHuski 5 лет назад

      Gabriel Traveler The Canon M50 has 3 levels of stabilisation I would assume the Sony would be similar as well.. 👍

    at 14:41-14:45 you passed a restaurant where a lot of people were waiting to get in, do you happen to remember the name or what street you were on? Just curious, I might go to Hong Kong next year.

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  5 лет назад

      I'm not sure of the name of the street, but it was just one block over from Temple Street. So if you go through the arch I showed at the beginning and enter the Temple Street market, just go right one block and walk up that street.

    The neon lights act as a deterrent to the petty thefts and of course to encourage shoppers or pedestrians to go inside to shop or to eat.

  • @gostaastridsson1544
    @gostaastridsson1544 5 лет назад

    When it comes to low light footage your new Sony RX100 VI beats by far your GoPro 7 something that shouldn't be surprising considering that the Sony uses a 1" sensor compared to the much smaller used by the action camera. Such low noise footage comes at the expense of a not so wide field of view and a much less effective image stabilization. I would suggest for you to stick to the GoPro during the day and to use the Sony at night. It looks as if with two small cameras you have found the perfect bloger combination!

      Dang, that's a bummer. If you have travel insurance they might reimburse you, but I'm sure you thought about that already. It's worth sending an email to the accommodation and explaining why you had to cancel the trip and they might make an exception, especially if it's a little while until the trip in which case they could still have time to book those rooms again.

    • @Aaron-io2wc
      @Aaron-io2wc 5 лет назад

      Insurance does not cover airline going out of business more with a death in the family. I have travel insurance with my credit card. I book mostly with a 3rd party but they are trying to get me a refund up to the hotel. I called the hotel they said it’s up to the 3rd party. so we shall see how it works out. There is websites that you can sell non refundable rooms on I might check into that
