Hi Ricky, Love those Karashi's. The only variety I do not have in my pond. Will be keeping an eye on which dealers pick them up. Great video as usual 👍

Ricky, we have recently bought a four more koi wholesale fish. One of them is a gin rin benigoi, with large, aragoki type, scales on its lateral lines. I didn't ask what type of koi it was, and I've google it, but to no avail???

      Are the scales black?

@mrtings no the fish is a uniform gin rin red/orange, just large scales down the lateral line.

If we breed ( Karashigoi male + Ginrin karashigoi female ) = babies come with ginrin or not? Because of female one is ginrin & male one is normal

They not for me I don't like gr,s or single colour fish but they will have lovers no doubt , one thing is for certain they putting wild carp blood into there fish for size and bone structure every so many years imo

That has been done years ago and it's not that simple as magoi blood can really throw a spanner in the works. This is why we have seen the development of big Karashi lines etc as they can add size but are still more refined than Magoi / Wild Carp.
