Ricky, I’ve got a 4500 litre pond with 7 koi under 30cm. But they haven’t been feeding well, not going for food floating above them. Water parameters are good and all. Is it too much space for 7 little fish? Too much stress?

They aren't far from doitsu hariwake line, i guess Are there any koi with blueish color base just asking, cause i first bought it when it was around 1 inch thought it was shiro utsuri later when it grew bigger around 6inches blueish color started to emerge. Note - it died cause pump suddenly broke after a power interruption

Hi Ricky,I dont normally comment but today,I been keeping koi for 20 years or more,my pond is around 4000 gallons,unheated but completely Inclosed ,I built it myself and fibreglass it myself but had it refibreglassed 5 years ago,my filter system is a multi bay,having watched many of your videos on RUclips and other sites,I was having problems with koi getting sick and then losing them,I’d seen on one of the shows you mentioned afragrog ,so about 3 years ago I changed too k1 and k1+ and touch wood,so thanks for your useful information on your shows,THANKYOU 👌loved watching question time last night with the pictures of you in Japan,BRILLIANT.

I quite like the tamasaba, I suppose because I am a lover of fancy goldfish, although am now reluctant to ever buy them because of their swim bladder issues. What I can't understand is why koi keepers like tamasaba, when they love koi for the reasons they do, the tamasaba is so different. Can you tell me what it is about them from your own point of view

I've never understood why we've bred deformed goldfish, moors, bubble eyes, lion head etc . I love my fish, but breeding cartoon characters from the humble goldfish has always made me feel sorry for these animals - just my opinion.

tancho's, I had the world's greatest tancho with a perfect beni circle for a year, fading wasn't an issue, it turning into a magoi for the following 19 years was lol, I've heard of underlying sumi but i never saw that coming, head to tail jet black, I kept him all these years as a reminder.

I’m unheated had nothing but issues for months ended up cleaning crap off pond floor scrubbing filter and cleaned all media and upped the dose of fluke solve plus of two treatments fish seem fine at the moment 🤞🏻
