i didn't realize this song fit these two so well up until now, and overall i just couldn't stop looking because the colors just blew me away every single time!! the shot at 0:42 was definitely my favorite, it's just so creative
I've been thinking about this AMV for like a day at this point, and I really am in love with this take on Splashtail. The books really try to go out of their way to portray him as just some kind of born evil villain, but focusing on how this young warrior was manipulated by the much older Curlfeather into doing her dirty work really puts his villainous actions into so much more perspective if you really think about it! I love how intimidatingly you portray Curlfeather despite still showing her being a loving mother (because she was one - evil people are rarely the fully evil people Warriors likes to pretend they are) and I love how much it seems like Splashtail is really just panicking throughout every step as his plans to convince Riverclan to shirk Starclan slowly fall apart. You did such a good job of still conveying how evil he is while making his actions "sympathetic" in a way - or well, maybe sympathetic isn't the right word, but they make a lot more sense under this lens!
i pointed this out on twitter but i wanna point it out here too, i really do love how splashtail resembles light yagami! i never thought about their similarities in personality before seeing this design, how they're both too proud for their own good, and how splashtail will probably be defeated due to his pride just like light. amazing job!
I love the fact that you used the Tessa Violet version of the song to fit the characters better! I haven't read the new arc beyond the first book but this makes me really want to
THIS IS FIRE!!! The art style in this is so stunning oh my god. I love how everything is synced with the music. Every drawing looks like it could be from a movie seriously
Every pmv/animation you make is incredibly good at storytelling, paired with fitting visuals to boot. I'm very far behind on the warriors books, but I think I can gather from this pmv that a character (Splashtail) has developed an ambition and tenacity which has far surpassed its creator (Curlfeather). Good qualities, but ruthless, destructive, and authoritative when met with no balancing traits. Perhaps these will end up being Splashtail's own destruction in the end? Always happy to see what's next, keep it up mate!

In two years, I'll be able to read ASC (yes River will out at september or october 2026...) and every pmv and amv about his arc makes me want it even more. It makes me feel exactly the same as when TBC was released in vo. It's going to be so long to wait, but I'm soooo excited ♥ Edit : I read in VO, and I love this ♥ I find it's different reading and vision of VF, it's very interesting and characters are good writing (I had River for my birthday, and the Curlfeather's death was so violent and hard, I made a "connection" with dogs again Brightpaw and Swiftpaw, so it's very very emotional for a death (because I was very sad for Swiftpaw) ; I read A Dangerous Path when I was 13-14 yo. I'm 25. So it was a flashback 😅)

I honestly hate Curlfeather. She manipulated Frostpaw and, at least at first, it looked like she was using her power over Splashtail.
I think she an interesting villain. It’s interesting how she seemed to genuinely care about Frostpaw, but still used her for her own personal gain.
