this is INSANE you managed to portray this story in such an interesting way?? its easy to understand what's going on and the way you do expressions adds so much more to the depth of the character's motivations the art and composing of every scene is so visually appealing and almost shocking, making the scenes have a ton more gravity to them as if you're right there watching it happen for the first time despite having read the books

Theres so much detail in this, its so beautiful! The watercolor look, the colors being desaturated and beibg more messy as well as taking up the entire screen instead of a bit of a white border like before after curlfeather died, the background becoming desaturated again when she got the vision and the color coming back when it was over, and even the background changing to more brush-like than watercolor when she was running, all of it was beautiful. Its so so cool, especially with so much detail and thought put into it. Definitely one of the best animations ive ever seen. The emotions were beautifully depicted and everything is just so amazing its hard to put into words. This is just beautiful!

This is soooo good omg! I stopped reading the books at this arc and decided to just watch videos about it but this pmv makes me want to read them now!! This story seems so interesting. Frostpaw seems like such an interesting character and I can’t wait to see what they do with curl feather. It’s so rare we get a female villain especially one with this kind of depth. But story aside your art style is so incredibly beautiful. The composition of each scene and the unique facial expressions really convey the story so well!

I saw this PMV a few months ago, and found it magnificent, without really “living” what was happening in the story (as a French reader, we're only at the TBC, ASC will be published in at least 2 or 3 years...). That doesn't stop me from following what's going on in the current cycle (curiosity and the fact that, finally, the plot of Reed and Misty's death intrigued me a little!) Now that I've read in broad outline what's going on, well... I've got a lump in my throat because I feel Frost's distress just as I feel the distress of the characters in the TBC books. I'm just living it, and if I can live something in a PMV, I can't imagine reading it and turning the pages. ♥

Wah! Ok I'm no longer busy so now I can write my essay tehe. First and foremost holy moly! I love the direction you focused on here! As someone who is not reading the current arc and is really only ingesting it through people's fan works I can confidently say this paints a much more clear picture for me of what is happening in the current arc! The focus of how the weight of the world is on her shoulders as Mistystar dies suddenly and Reedwhisker is incapacitated. This poor child has a whole clan's burden upon her shoulders. I love the art direction of the watercolors and almost fuzziness of her clan life before her world starts turning. Her perception of her clanmates is this idealist child-like perception of beauty. She is here to serve her clan, life is good, and she feels empowered and encouraged by her mother and her clan mates. But then the world shifts slightly as Mistystar dies and now this poor child is left to decide the fate and direction of her clan. She still loves and values her clan, so whilst the environment changes to a thicker hue her life isn't completely disillusioned yet- till her mother dies. This child doesn't know the truth but the anxiety of the weight she bares is overwhelming. The environment becomes less watercolory till we reach the realization. THE DRAMATIC CHANGE IN ENVIRONMENT AND THE BEAT DROP is so TASTY. The oily streaks are thick and abrasive compared to previous environments we once knew with her- she is now disillusioned about her clan and situation. 100/10 I'd eat ur art any day

*Spoilers Warning* Frostpaw’s a real one. I can see why Riverstar chose her but in a way I feel so bad that everyone has decided her life for her. Curlfeather and Splashtail manipulating her into being a Medicine cat then Riverstar choosing her to save their clan. It’s a lot. I really like how they added Nightheart to her journey, he’s her big brother. That’s why he was chosen to go w/ her. He’s not the strongest but he’s brave, loyal, kind and smart. He showed her that love still does exist in the clans and that’s what she needed the most someone to support her. Question: Who do you think will be chosen to be the next leader? I still think Mothwing. “Choose the least likely cat.” “Our leader needs to be someone we all respect and can look up to”. Come on that’s got to be Mothwing! She has warrior training from her past mentor Mistystar and she’s had apprentices. Plus she’s always looked out for her clan even facing hate for not believing in or talking to StarClan. But I have a theory about that: What if the real reason StarClan doesn’t talk to her is because she was never meant to be a medicine cat. Like Frostpaw, she was manipulated into becoming one by Hawkfrost. I’m sure they used the excuse of “she doesn’t believe in us” but they couldn’t very well say what her real destiny was. StarClan doesn’t speak to her as a Medicine cat but will speak to her as a leader. At least that’s my dream.

Frostpaw’s a real one. I can see why Riverstar chose her but in a way I feel so bad that everyone has decided her life for her. Curlfeather and Splashtail manipulating her into being a Medicine cat then Riverstar choosing her to save their clan. It’s a lot. I really like how they added Nightheart to her journey, he’s her big brother. That’s why he was chosen to go w/ her. He’s not the strongest but he’s brave, loyal, kind and smart. He showed her that love still does exist in the clans and that’s what she needed the most someone to support her. Question: Who do you think will be chosen to be the next leader? I still think Mothwing. “Choose the least likely cat.” “Our leader needs to be someone we all respect and can look up to”. Come on that’s got to be Mothwing! She has warrior training from her past mentor Mistystar and she’s had apprentices. Plus she’s always looked out for her clan even facing hate for not believing in or talking to StarClan. But I have a theory about that: What if the real reason StarClan doesn’t talk to her is because she was never meant to be a medicine cat. Like Frostpaw, she was manipulated into becoming one by Hawkfrost. I’m sure they used the excuse of “she doesn’t believe in us” but they couldn’t very well say what her real destiny was. StarClan doesn’t speak to her as a Medicine cat but will speak to her as a leader. At least that’s my dream.
Woah, that’s a really neat theory about Mothwing, it would be really cool if it becomes canon too.
This is probably the only theory that would have me believe mothwing should be leader.
